“Today 3 January 2025 while going backs to Delhi from Andaman by SpiceJet Flight @ 5 PM, The ground clearing staff at Port Blair airport has asked me to take-out my consumed half filled scotch and vodka bottle from the check-in baggage. I tried to explain them that the same I was carrying from Delhi in some other airlines but they kept on going by the book and I have to Give it away to some unknown person.
Indigo is allowing to carry it in check-in baggage but not in SpiceJet?
How can the rules be different at Different airports in India? The same was scanned at Delhi, Kolkata and now problem only at Port Blair airport? How can the safety rules are different in Port Blair? This has left a bad taste in my mouth, guess I’m not going to travel with SpiceJet again.”

I was travelling to Patna through spice jet SG8721 from Delhi. My PNR no is MGSZTA.
I booked seat no 2A and when I boarded the flight there was a passenger in seat no 3A who won't allow me to tilt my seat. He started pushing me and my head got hit in the seat ahead me. This is a serious safety concern. I asked for help from the flight attendant Gaurav, Ankit and mitali but they said to resolve it mutually as there was no seat left to change my seat with.
This incidence has made me doubt the competency of your staff and your policies even incase their is a medical emergency while on flight in case if there would have been any medical issue what would your attendants have done.
What if the passenger would have hurt me severely during flight? Where is the scope of feeling secured as well as respected while travelling with spice jet?
During the entire flight I could not tilt my seat while the person sitting ahead kept his seat tilted.
I had booked meals but could not enjoy them as well. All the wastage of money!!
I had written to customer service and Nodal officer on the email given in their website but have not got any satisfactory response !! Shameless and pathetic!!
I am a frequent flyer but this is the first time I choose Spice jet. But it was my mistake. I have not seen such a behaviour in any of the airlines I have been flying with. I am bringing this to your concern so that you may take corrective actions against your staff. Also I would claim compensation for this service drawback.
I shall definately tell my family, friends and colleagues as well as my company admin and corporate not to book spice jet for any travel they plan !!”

“Sg184 is delayed 4 times, i kept day time for landing in delhi as i feared cancellation due to fog. Now after 3-4 revision they gave arrival as 1 am. I have anyway missed the Christmas party with family and friends. Shameful services with no compliance enforcement from policy makers to penalise spicejet or compensate the customer. All dynamic prices that can charge upto 10X more for the same flight. India is place of poor infra and extreme exploitation with very high taxes. These service providers have no answering for they not meeting commitments.”

“Very bad experience, they cancelled the flight without any notification. I came to know about the flight cancellation when i was at checkin counter. They did not supporting for any help. We were at Andaman island and they cancelled flight when there were no next flight for the day. I would recommend please do not book any ticket with this airline. “Very bad customer service from spicejet ,I was traveling from Dubai to kozhikode , I am eligible for 30 kg luggage and 7kg handbag , however I don’t have handbag and my luggage weighed 30.75 kg , Mr Tharun asked me to pay 150 aed for excess baggage , I requested him that it’s only 0.75 kg and I don’t have hand baggage , he didn’t allowed that asked to remove , I opened my roughly closed box and removed small items , it’s take me lots of time and humiliation in front of other passengers and family members , why this people are behaving very arrogant , Are they underpaid or over worked ? Or else they are thinking will get customers even in waste customer service scenarios … ? Very pathetic”

“Extremely Disappointing Experience with SpiceJet
I was scheduled to fly on flight SG231 from Delhi to Khajuraho on October 26, 2024, but the flight was canceled more than two hours after the scheduled departure time. To make matters worse, no refreshments were provided during the long wait at the airport. Although the staff promised compensation, I have yet to receive any follow-up. I have sent multiple emails to SpiceJet’s Customer Relations team and escalated the matter to the Appellate Authority, but they continue to manipulate the situation and give contradictory responses regarding the flight cancellation.
There were over 80 passengers booked on the same flight, all of whom can attest to the fact that the flight was indeed canceled. Despite this, SpiceJet has failed to offer any meaningful support or resolution.I am still waiting for my refund, which has been pending for 25 days now. As of today, November 20, 2024, I am thoroughly disappointed and frustrated by this experience. SpiceJet has been the worst airline experience I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider flying with them.”

I've spent around 6k to buy the ticket and rescheduling my flight as well and they cancelled the flight at the last minute due to bad weather whereas other flights were taking off. And now I've got the refund of just 1600. Had a word with their customer service they have confirmed that they can only provide the refund for 1600 only as I've booked the flight from the third party (MMT). I'm furious to have such horrible experience. In future, if I had the option to choose between spicejet and a bus, I would surely go for the bus.”
