DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR REPEAT CUSTOM! My husband tried to return/ exchange some football boots as, after having worn them only a handful of times, they are coming apart at the front. Absolutely rubbish quality and Sports Direct would not even entertain a refund or exchange. The staff were very rude and unprofessional. They basically called my husband a liar and said that the boots looked like they had been worn more than he had actually worn them. They were 6 weeks old!! Even if he'd worn them every day they should last longer than this! But he didn't, he wore them 6 times for an hour a time. So for 6 hours in total! He had the receipt and the box but no movement whatsoever on the matter. What an absolutely shocking way to treat customers and pathetic quality of products. Having spoken to their customer service agents a number of times there has been no help or resolution reached. They have asked us to go back to the manufacturer directly which contravenes the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They sold us the boots, it is their responsibility to go back to the manufacturer. The boots were not of a satisfactory quality, they were not fit for purpose and they have not lasted a reasonable amount of time. 3 contraventions of LAW right there for you. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT SHOP HERE EITHER.

Ordered few products on Black Friday and order was processing but never got to shipped stage. When contacting customers care, I was told my parcel was lost by courier (ordered for collection in local sports direct - payable feature by the way). But how could it be lost if not shipped I don't know. Then I was told one of the items is not in stock anymore so can't get it. Yet, I found those shoes still on the website and in my size and in stock but under new product code. How convenient! Different price tag etc. Customer care replies are slow, can't speak to real person on the phone or through chat, every time you send email different person deals with you and you end up repeatedly saying same things. 3 weeks since the order and not resolved. You wouldn't get that with any respectable online branded shop. Won't buy from them again! And nobody even cares really. You are treated just like nothing has happened. Like this would be normal that people order stuff and may wait weeks not receiving it. Bad experience - Please be mindful when buying from SportsDirect.

Dont order on line with sportsdirect.com even from their shop . They send your delivery somewhere else and if you try to explain to the non speaking english staff . Theyl tell you , you got your order even if you have written proof of sportsdirect sending them somewhere else . Then call the security guard who dose squats while staff curse speaking to each other and treat you terrible . You wont get your product or your money back .its been agust since sportsdirect stole my money . Its a group on investors who own the sportsdirect chains . So dont have anyone employed to deal with the public and non english speakers online .because they got eu grants to employ eu citizens . Their a profit over people chainstore .So dont give a dam about people . I cant imagine an elderly person having to deal with any hicups their if they are that . Just seems a rotten unfriendly rude shop to go into with eu staff who dont understand english so . If you want to teach english visit sportsdirect. But for Gods sake dont shop their its scary .

We have used the Edmonton Green store many times over the years and have always queued to pay from in front of the cashier (not known any other way). Today the staff on the floor were helpful as usual so we went to purchase 2 coats. On arrival at the cashier we queued in our normal place and to help the cashier spent the time queuing to remove coat hangers. This was 6/12 at approx. 10:30am. There were 2 other people waiting to be served and a small boy in front of me as I'm sure your cashier would have seen when all of a sudden a group of people on the other side of the cashier shouted out that I should have been in the queue that they had formed. Immediately your cashier took there side telling me that the queue was on the other side. Both ways to access the cashier should be clearly marked and if the cashier was not aware of the people waiting in front of her I suggest she pops a little bit further along the road to Specsavers. Needless to say I left the goods with her to sort out and left the store never to return to this branch.

I ordered football boots and T shirts with a 2-3 day delivery. After day 4 I contacted Sportdirect, who you can only contact via email or chat as they do not now have an active phone number. I raised concern as their carrier Evri had not processed the delivery for days. Sports direct said to wait a couple of days which I did. Still no response. I then contacted them again and they raised an investigation case with Evri. Again after 4 days I contacted Sports direct for an update but was advised that as Everi had not responded they would raise another case, so I now have to wait a further 5 days before they will do anything else. I have now checked stock availability and this football bots which I had ordered for my grandson are now out of stock so even if they offer to resend replacements, they will be unable to. I feel that the customer service received for their agents is shocking and the cheap carrier they use is going to lose them a lot iof sales. Now looking elsewhere for goods. Not likely to use Sports Direct in a hurry again.

I bought Converse bottoms and I week later colour started to fade, the material is not good and the clothes are so expensive it’s not worth the price.

I paid for next day delivery for an item which I wanted to forward on to Brisbane with my Grandson when he was flying home on Sunday morning at 0930 next day delivery should have arrived on Friday as it was ordered on Thursday the cost was £9 plus this cost should be reimbursed we stressed and waited all day Friday up until 1400 on Saturday fortunately we did get it on the plane with my Grandson on Sunday morning the whole mess should be looked at as you sold a service and didn’t provide it.

Do not buy gift cards from sports direct they take your money then tell you something has gone wrong and the money will go back into your account but it never does how do they get away with ripping people off this I have been to the store a number of time and spoke to the manager and all I get is an apology but I still waiting for my money back the phone number isn’t manned so that’s a waste of time and the web chat just keeps saying failed when I get try to explain what has happened I will never use sport direct ever again

I bought a tracksuit for my nephew and there was an item missing. The agent basically treated me like I was lying. I am absolutely gutted and so upset with the service I have recieved. Do not order from them as there is obviously a lot of deception in their dispatch and warehouse team. I am going to the police as this needs investigation.

Poor customer service. Cannot refund items instore that are purchased online you have to pay postage to return - tracked. Automated email responses if you have an issue with order which I did. Haven’t received £40 vouchers for Black Friday deal despite emailing customer service team. Will Not use again.

After trying the trial model, I bought the gelert brand shoes from Sports Direct. When I got home, I took the shoes out of the box and put them on and went out. However, when I went out, I realized that it was too tight and I went back inside without even walking 20 meters. I went back to the store to exchange or return the shoes and buy a different model, and I explained my negative experience. They told me I left the shoes dirty, though it was much cleaner than the popular trial pattern. And they denied my exchange/return request. I told them that I would lie if I wanted, but that I had told the truth about everything that happened, and I said that what they did was not fair. Also, I think these shoes might be wore before as when I opened the box one of shoes looked like that, but I think it is normal for me. I checked the policy of exchange or return. It is not clear. I don't think it's my fault that the shoes I wear are incompatible with the trial model in the store. I have bought many items from there for three years, but I will never buy anything from there again. If it is in the policy, I will just complain the policy of Sports Direct, find them right, and I will celebrate them due to doing a good job by hoping that they treat everyone the same.

Sport’s Direct very fair prices on many items and availability generally good. My only complaint is that you have to pay to collect from store, when you are going to them using your petrol. It’s a no brainier to pay for delivery, maybe this is their intention. Delivery is expensive compared to many stores.

Sports direct Hounslow Very very very pathetic experience .The staffs are superbly .I had gone to buy a waterproof jacket .The staff took 40 mins to give information on warmth and finally they couldn't do so.The lady staff was abusive , bad in her tone .When I finally identified what I need to purchase without help and went to the counter. SHE asked the billing counter not to bill and she said that I will THROW you out .. Very pathetic experience .Never went through such experience. I can get the jacket anywhere but customers will not come. I will share at as many platform as I can

Terrible customer service and a nightmare ordering anything online and getting it delivered. I placed an online order and its been over a month and still did not get my package, their terrible delivery service with EVRI is an embarrassment. They have no form of contact or getting in touch the the driver. The delivery man put the parcel in the bin and i was not notified in any way that it was put in the bin and this was not requested upon ordering my items, in fact i was still getting emails telling me when i am going to receive my order. it has now been over 2 months and i have opened a case to get a complete refund. Never ordering from their website again, disgusting service!

This company is a total scam. Avoid at all costs. I never received a refund for my faulty trainers I sent back using their postage label. Customer service is absolutely appalling they won't answer any quesions and try and go round in circles.

My husband and children went on a last minute break and we forgot to pack his swimming shorts. So we purchased two pairs. I checked at the counter in Skegness with the sales assistant if I would be able to return the items should they not fit. She told me I would with the receipt. I then returned home to be told that a new policy (as if a few months) no lo get permits swimwear being returned. So I emailed customer services explaining the situation. I was told the policy no longer allows returns on swimwear and I should take it up with the local store where I purchased the item. I replied they should read the detail... I will not be driving 2 hours to discuss their mistake. In this current climate with the cost of living going up, I would have thought large companies would be doing their best to protect their customers. But it appears they simply don't care. I fail to see where I could have done more. I asked the question, double checked at the till. Kept the receipt and returned as soon as I could. To be told our mistake you will have to pay for. Not even a genuine apology. I will not be using sports direct again.
