“I ordered the merchandise on August 5, 2016. I finally got a notice 4 days ago that it had shipped, I haven't received the merchandise as of today. I had to call your office to find out that the reason for the delay is one of the items ordered was out of stock.”

Hi Ernie, thanks for your review. I did check, our system sends out an automatic email right after the order is placed to let you know about any backorders. You can also tell by the "7 to 10 day" availability status on the product page. It does appear that the email was sent. It may have been snagged by your spam filter. I apologize for any confusion. “Sprinkler Supply Store is a great company, and their customer service is excellent. They respond quickly to any questions you may have about the products that they sell. I recently purchased a Toro DDCWP-2-9V - Battery Operated DC-2 Controller Station, a Toro - TRS - Rain switch Kit, and 2 Rain Bird - TBOSPSOL - TBOS DC Latching Solenoids. All 3 of these products worked perfectly together. Sprinkler Supply Store Customer Service was able to answer all of my compatibility questions before purchasing. Shipping was also very fast. I was worried about the compatibility between the Toro Controller, and the Rain Bird DC Solenoids, since I was converting my existing Rain Bird sprinkler valves with AC Solenoids to DC Solenoids, due to lack of electrical power in the vicinity of the existing sprinkler valves. This combination worked like a charm. The prices were also very low compared to our local big box stores, and irrigation specialty store. I just hope Sprinkler Supply Store keeps these particular parts in stock for future maintenance. I also have a back yard I need to landscape in the near future, and I plan on using these same, or similar, components for that project. I have had a great experience with Sprinkler Supply Store, and would highly recommend them to anyone working on a new, or existing irrigation project. You cannot go wrong with Sprinkler Supply Store.”

“I got exactly what I was looking for. The sprinklers that I purchased were a 1/3 the price I paid from the local supply store. I also purchased the rubber covers and replaced 2 of mine which were in bad shape. I would recommend this company to anyone.”

“I had a defective Hunter controller. Your helpful representative advised me to pay for a new one and ship the old one back. This was the two would cross in shipping and I would be without the controller less time than if I just shipped my broken one back and you then shipped me a new one. Sure enough my new controller arrived the same day that my old one arrived at your business. I received an email the next day telling me that you did receive it and were issuing a credit. I could not be happier with your service. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!”

“Very disappointed it took two weeks from order to delivery with an after the fact excuse of a back order. The day after I made the order I got an email asking if I wanted to keep a sprinkler key in my order because it was "back ordered". The leverage was that if I wanted to keep the key ($0.35 value) in the order, I would have to hold the entire order (which included the main parts I really needed) until the key came in. Otherwise, I needed to cancel ordering the key. I responded immediately that I did not appreciate being held hostage by a small item and to go ahead with the order because I needed it as soon as possible. A week later, I received the key and one other part?!? The main valve I REALLY needed is supposed to arrive today (two full weeks after the order). I called to ask why the delay and was told that it "might" be because the valve was back ordered. The representative said he was not sure but would look into it if I wanted. I said I did want an explanation. I have yet to receive such explanation. In conclusion, if you really need something in a timely manner, this company can not be trusted to deliver.”

Hi Don, thanks for your review and I apologize if we weren't able to meet your needs on this order. Your order was placed the 4th, we discovered that we could ship the adjustment tool and the solenoid out from one of our other warehouses and did so on the 5th and was delivered to you on the 8th. The remaining valves shipped out on Tuesday the 9th - when I check the tracking it seems as though there was a delay with USPS on the second shipment as it is just on the truck for delivery today the 17th. It should have arrived the 12th, based on the turnaround time of the first shipment. I am following up with our warehouse to try to determine what the cause of the delay was on the second shipment, but at least part of this had to to with the long turnaround time with the postal service. Again my apologies that we weren't able to hit a home run on this one. Denny ~ Customer Service Manager
