“I was really scared when I read all the bad reviews after I ordered, but to my surprise it came in the mail the within the time frame given, the dress looked just like the photo except a slight color difference. It fit great and I got so many compliments :) idk if I got lucky but I’d recommend buying from here!”

“Stacees is a rip-off. I ordered a dress for $159, and though it fit, it looked matronly and not the look I wanted. I asked to return the dress for a full refund. Stacees ignored several of my requests, then said that shipping was expensive so I could keep the dress, sell it myself, and order another dress for $50. I DID NOT NEED NOR WANT another dress, so I refused and asked to return it for a full refund. Again, they ignored me until I threatened to post negative reviews. Eventually, they said they would refund $40 and I should sell the dress myself. What a terrible company with horrible customer service; they basically stole money from me and they lie on their website saying you can return items for full refund. Instead, I bought a beautiful dress from Azazie that is lovely, as is their customer service. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with Stacees. Rip-off!!”

“SCAMMERS, actually IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. Refuses to fulfill return policy. Do NOT order from these sick idiots. Literally in the policy says they pay for return shipping back and refuses to pay for shipping and only wants to offer a fraction of what the dress costs. I couldn’t even wear the poorly made dress to my prom it was so bad.”

“Do not buy from here. I recieved my order and the dress is not the same as the one advertised on the website. The product is defective and there are a few problems. The sleeves are wonky, the breast pads are also wonky and a missmatch colour to the dress, the stitching isnt to a high standard and also the dress has a very long train which is not shown on the picture advertised. My order was for a standard size 10 dress, they asked me for my measurements via email after I placed the order so I gave them. I have emailed and explained that the dress is not as advertised on their site and also sent them pictures showing the dress being the wrong fit and style along with it being poorly made and the dress being poorly made wuth the defective issues. They are trying their hardest to stop me having a full refund because they've said its custom made...however I didn't ask for a custom made dress I ordered a standard size 10. There was an option for a custom made dress which cost more..I explained that they contacted me and asked me to confirm my measurements I didn't ask for a custom made one. They have said that the shipping will be too much for them to return it or I am to pay them extra money so they can make another one. This is completely unfair. Do not waste your money this place is a scam.”

“DO NOT ORDER A DRESS FROM STACEE's! It is true this website is a scam. They claim the dresses are custom made but they are not. I ordered 3 dresses for my daughter's prom because the site stated "full refund within two weeks of shipping". The dresses took almost 10 days longer to arrive then originally quoted which left no time for alterations. They were grossly oversized! We ordered based on the sizing recommendation of the website and after measuring my daughter according to their specifications we ordered a size 4. I immediately tried to process a return and have been emailing back and forth for 2 full months now. They have asked for pictures which I sent, measurement's which I also sent twice, and drawings of the dresses. I have proved to them that the measurement of the dresses doesn't even match what is on the tag. They told me that "custom made, hand stitched dresses" have size variations and it should have been expected. In previous emails they stated that their hand made dresses rarely ever have size issues. I have two months worth of emailing back and forth and each time a different person responds and I receive a different excuse as to why they can not return the dresses or offer me my refund. They keep refusing to return and give me a refund because they state the dresses may not make it back to them and would have to incinerated anyway! Each time they offer me "compensation" to keep the dresses which at this point isn't even 50% of what I paid. I would highly recommend staying away from this website. At this point, I know if I returned the dresses they would never process my refund. I am offering to take 50% of what I paid at this point and hoping I make a little more reselling them. Save yourself the aggravation and stress and order from a different website. The dress material is very stiff and itchy and some of the seams on the dresses are not even straight. I am sure I will have a difficult time getting any amount of money selling them on my own and will have to take a loss on 3 dresses my daughter couldn't wear.”

“Before ordering I confirmed with an advisor via chat and email that the standard size I was ordering could be returned I it didn't fit. The dress arrived 2 sizes to small. They refused a refund but offered to send me some material to take the dress to a tailors! They then offered £30 refund and I could keep the dress, I'm now being offered £90 refund if I order and pay for another dress for £30!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY”

“Just like all of the other negative reviews, they will not give me a full refund. They want pictures of the dress on you before they even entertain giving you any money back. The dress was horribly drapey and awful looking. They do not follow their own return policy and deserve to have a major lawsuit against them for scamming tons of people.”

“This is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. I bought my wedding dress from here and they still haven’t delivered it after two months. They made me have to buy one last minute 1 day before my wedding. I was messaging them a week prior and they promised they would get it delivered before my wedding. 2 months later still haven’t received a refund or the dress. This company is a SCAM”

“I wish I would’ve found this website with these reviews before I ordered. Every single review is exactly what happened to me.. they refuse to give you a refund. I needed a bridesmaid dress and wanted to order a couple different styles because I know each style will fit me differently based on my body shape. I confirmed with Stacees BEFORE placing my order that I could return as long as it was the original item and had the original tags on it. Once I placed the order (mind you, it was US sizes, not custom), I received an email confirming I didn’t need custom sizing. In my response I confirmed again, that I would be able to return the dresses if they didn’t fit. Out of the 3 dresses, only one fit. They told me to send in pics, I did. They then offered me $20 per dress and that I could resell them on my own. They also made the smart comment how one dress “looked very beautiful” on me when there was definitely an emoji on the picture to cover what the dress DIDN'T COVER. After days of going back and forth with them, they were extremely unprofessional and still refused to give me a refund. I disputed it with my bank. RUN AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!”

“They say they make the dress for you but they do not make it well-known that you cannot return it unless you send a picture of your body with the dress and that they say the dress doesn’t fit you or fit you. In other words you’re out a couple hundred dollars, they think it looks fine on you. Horrible customer service and I would never deal with this again. I am not a small woman, but I’m not obese and I wear a size 16 dresses. Never had a problem but they put stays and fake bras in their dresses. And expect it to fit every woman who happens wear a 16 the same way.”

“What horrible customer service. They claim to accept returns on non-customized dresses, but they keep a large percentage and make it extremely difficult to return with no label or instructions provided. The dress was not the material promised and not what the picture looked like. I tried for weeks for return it and the most I received was $40 back for a $100 cheap dress that I’m now stuck with. Will never buy from them again.”
