Asked for cancelation or change of shipping address due to circumstances changing after 5 months wait. No response till very late Friday explained things to rep got no reply after that. Neither happened it was delivered to an address that was no longer relevant and well over an hour away. Very Frustrating.

The reason I went through Starfire was the date on which I was promised to have it delivered. I had a big party planned for my 50th and wanted to go with a company that could deliver it a month before the party was planned just to give myself some wiggle room. Now I know the whole Covid Pandemic is an easy excuse these days to blame back orders and there probably is a lot of truth to it. Well the party has come and gone, still I don't have a firepit. The reason for the 1 star is the complete lack of communication and promises that were made when I called in that didn't come to fruition. First of all, your company needs to hire someone to answer the phones. Being on hold for 10+ minutes at a time to only then get a press 1 to get a call back is ridiculous. Maybe give that option sooner if you are not going to have enough staff to reasonably answer the phones within a minute or two. Second, call back the same day, not 3 days later. Third, don't tell me your firepit is going to ship next week unless it is going to ship next week. I was told this 3 times. Do what you say, say what you do and under promise, over perform should be any companies mantra. I own 2 businesses and understand the struggles of having employees perform the way you want them to. Hence, I am spending my time to write this review on your company controlled review process rather than directly on google. Hopefully this reaches management and changes can be made to save future clients from an unsatisfactory experience.

I'm very pleased with the Tavola 4 firepit. Steven was very helpful with the purchase. The firepit is beautiful and very professional looking. Your website images were very good. It was a bear to get into the back yard weighing 500 pounds and with only 4 1/2 feet clearance between the house and fence. We had to have a small forklift move it to the back, but with an inch or two clearance on each side, we made it. I think we will enjoy it for many years.

It’s been 3 weeks and my item still hasn’t shipped and I called and left voice mail 2 times with no return call and wanted also to order 2 fire pots but no call back to find out more on the fire pits

Poor packaging of fire glass. FedX carrier was cut handling shipping bag. Glass shards protruding through bag. Should be sent boxed.

After many attempts through my salesperson, customer service and waiting on hold without speaking to someone, I have not received any help or guidance on my product that has multiple defects since the day it was delivered. It was very expensive and this is unacceptable customer service.

We had scheduled to be at our summer home when the first delivery date was confirmed. When it was postponed and rescheduled by Starfire, we couldn't be home to accept + inspect delivery. We left a note on the door for Shipwell (see attached), but when they finally arrived it seems they did not even approach the front door and left the unit in the driveway exposed for all to see and to the elements (see attached photos). When we arrived and accepted the fact they our instructions were completely ignored, and peeled over the water logged box, the iron ore powder coating flaked off onto our hands and clothes and moving the fire pit. There is no mention of the patina flaking at all on the Starfire website when we placed the order. The only mention of the iron ore patina transfer leaving stains on permanent surfaces is on the WARNINGS sheet after the unit was purchased and received. From the website we were led to believe there the patina process that accelerated the patina process was "permanent" to the steel firepit - not to our hands, clothes and our new $60k patio. We were so expecting a superior product and are so disappointed with both the product and the service provided. The website stipulates there are "no returns" on this product and, if not, we would like to at least have the option to replace with a Starfire fire pit that doe not have the artificial iron ore coating. Please review and let us know next best steps to resolve this matter. Thank you. A. Gentile
