After writing a first review, that has since been taken down, I am hoping my second attempt to review will be left live for other consumers. The Elnur storage heater i bought is an adequate product but the programming functions are very poorly set out. The heater sent out was defective and would not store charge. Both Elnur and Merinal (trading under Storage Heater Sales on the internet) had shocking after sales service. A contracted service repair technician was eventually sent out to replace the circuit board and display, after a fair amount of time wasted chasing the whereabouts of the replacement parts. I would not recommend either the Elnur storage heater or Merinal/ Storage Heater Sales.

Delivery not on time was guaranteed. Was however given a refund for payment made for AM delivery. Once the order arrived, missing products, again this was refunded. Poor service from start to finish. Will not be using again.

Was supplied with heating bricks only for ECOSSH308. Had purchased heater from AMAZON but they failed to supply the bricks at the same time. Amazon not interested when contacted about this failure. Decide to try to obtain only the bricks which SHS were very willing to do.

I bought 3 rads the packaging on 1 was fairly torn like it had been really thrown about. I have had 2 installed at the moment and one of the fins at the back has snapped, which I'm not happy about. The fittings are very flimsy for such a heavy radiator and the fact that they are not secured at the bottom, meaning they pull away from the wall at the bottom, seems a design flaw.

Prompt next-day delivery. A mix-up over the delivery time caused some inconvenience but an apology was sent and I accept that this is not a usual occurrence. The delivery driver was very obliging. The two Elnur storage heaters I bought were competitively priced. Installation was straightforward and they are providing an improved level of comfort.

all 5 stars except delivery co. they only get 4 for delivery as their website delivery date was a day later than advised, contacted local depot who gave correct day they get 5 stars

Great service, ended up phoning and asking for some advice, got a great deal and they even despatched it on a certain date for me so it would arrive overnight on the day I was going to be in.

I paid for a pre 12 delivery, the instruction on the website said I would get a telephone call to confirm time, this did not happen... I sent an email at the time I purchased requesting the delivery date. The next morning I received an email saying it was coming a day earlier. I contacted Merinal by phone and they rescheduled the delivery for the following day. At 12.30 I contacted Merinal as no heater arrived and I was told it would be between 14.30 - 16.30.They aplogised and said the pre-delivery fee would be refunded. It arrived 15.45. Once the heater arrived, there were no fixings as described with the heater and more disappointingly no cable..... Still waiting for the refund.

Excellent service end to end - worked with Alex to source 2 parts for a radiator that is no longer manufactured since 2017. Merinal coordinated with the manufacturer to source replacement parts. Items were thoughtfully packaged and survived international shipping. Items reached my mailforwarder in Hatfield by next business day. Throughout the process, whether by phone or email, I was presented lots of information, updates and even payment options. Amazed at the service for such a small customer order - would expect that level of care from a business to business offering with a dedicated account manager.
