One star is far more than this company deserves! Avoid this company at all costs. Our flight was rescheduled and delayed (welcome to travel during the pandemic!). When we arrived at the airport, Sur Price (SurPrise!, we're closed and you have no car)...by contrast, the other couple we were traveling with used a quality agency and their car was waiting for them, no problem....by extension, I have nothing good to say about Holiday Autos either...they made the arrangement with Sur Price for us and their "customer service" is a joke...DO NOT USE EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES!

So we rented a vehicle for a week from Dalaman in June. On arrival there was no one to greet us, I had to call the company outside the airport to find out where they were, and an hour later they turned up. When signing for the car I was told I had to pay €20 in cash because they don’t normally work after 10pm, (I think I was ripped off) then £350 deposit which is pretty normal. No damage to the car whilst I drove it, was actually pretty decent car, but on return got told my deposit would be returned in 3 weeks time. It’s now been more than 3 weeks and still no deposit received. I won’t be booking with these bandits again, I will go with Budget or Enterprise and I suggest for others to avoid.

We had an awful experience with this company, use it at your own risk. We booked two cars with this company in February this year. I was on the website the other day to look at our cars again (days before we were due to collect) and we noticed a 9 seater was available. This was by far a better option for me and my big family of 4 daughters. So I booked this car, we got an email confirmation to say it was booked and the money was taken from my account. We also received our insurance policy. Once we had all the information I then cancelled the 2 small cars. An hour after this I got an email to say the 9 seater was not available and I will get a refund in a few days!!! Now leaving us with no car for holiday. The sent me a link to offer me a discounted rate on selected cars but to add insult to injury it is the same link to the website with the prices the same as a regular visitor. I emailed the company politely to inform them what happened and if we could stop the cancelation. The response I got was very rude!!!! I was told maybe I should not have cancelled the 2 cars and this was my fault. I sent them screenshots and emails from them to show confirmation with no word back, unbelievable to say the least. So as it stands, we are 2400 pounds owed to us with no cars for our family holiday. They asked us to start booking again from the beginning and good luck. Wow, avoid at all costs

We made a car reservation for FCO which was confirmed, but arrived at the airport there was no car available for us. No apology, nothing!

Mi experiencisa con Surprice Car Rentals en Bulgaria fue realmente mala. En marzo de este año (2022) me dieron un coche con 100.000 km. Se a los 200 km de trayecto se encendió el piloto del aceite y tuve que aparcarlo. Tardaron dos dias en traer un coche de sustitución y cuando fui a entregarlo me cobraron 600 euros del depósito de la tarjeta. LLevo reclamando todo este tiempo pero me cuelgan el teléfono o simplemente no contestan. Lo barato sale caro. No caigáis en la trampa, esta compañia son unos auténticos estafadores.

The 'meet & greet' service never turned up. Eventually they conceded that I might as well try and book another rental company. Being on the day, this was around £250 more which they said they would pay under insurance. 3 months later, no insurance pay out despite around 10+ e-mails. The quicker this company goes under, the better for all involved.

Es una estafa. Reservamos un coche para Madeira a través de la web enjoytravel donde está compañía si tenía una buena puntuación de otros usuarios. Al llegar al aeropuerto se supone que tienes que llamar para que te venga a buscar un minibús y te lleve a donde tienen los coches. Estuvimos llamando durante más de 1 hora y media y no nos cogían el teléfono ni apareció el minibús. Eran más de las 8 de la tarde ya que nuestro vuelo llegó con retraso (hora que luego cuando lees las condiciones de contratación, que no te muestran hasta que no haces la reserva, la oficina ya ha cerrado y se considera que es fuera de hora por lo que deberían cobrarte más, además según ellos debes asegurarte de llamar a la compañía antes de que salga el avión (como les llamo si dentro del avión debes tener el móvil en modo avión?? Te piden el número de vuelo al contratar...ya deberían de saber si lleva o no retraso) En todo caso me parecen unas condiciones pesimas para un alquiler de coches de aeropuerto...pero aún asi no pudimos contactar con nadie de la compañía....resultado: más de 1 hora y media tirados en el aeropuerto , 200€ perdidos y tuvimos q contratar otro coche con otra compañía

Absolutely the worst car rental experience I've ever had! They took one and a half to two hours at rental and 45 minutes to an hour on the return. Once I got to the rental desk, they introduced a new fee that I hadn't seen before. The car they gave me had numerous nicks, dents and scrapes. The passenger side had a series of scrapes from front to back. When I returned the car, I had had a small incident. I did not try to hide it. They build me $1,000 which is exorbitant, especially when you consider the condition of the car from the beginning. A customer in front of us was charged for a very small blemish that was in perceptible unless the light was just right. It's impossible to know whether the customer created the dent or if it was already there previously. This company is a scam and they're in the business of ripping off customers! I would avoid this company completely!

ABSOLUTELY don't rent a car with DoyouItaly (local partner Surprise cars)!. You pay but don't get a car. You can't reach them and they don't respond!! Last Monday we arrived at Napoli. We had a delay of about 1,5 hours. After more than an hour searching for their office we could not find it. We asked arround (other car rental companies) no one could tell us where to find the agency. We could not reach them by phone either. There is no number for emergencies. No where a warning or message that they will be closed at a certain time or what to do in case of delays. It's strange they ask for your flight number and contact details but they don't do anything with it. No call or message at all. In the middle of the night we were helplessely with our family. Since it was late and our hotel was 20 minutes outside of Napoli we had to take a taxi for the double of the rate. Next morning (after a short and stressful night) we again could not reach the agency by phone. The hotel also tried to reach the agency several times for us. We lost all our hope in DoyouItaly, we still did not know where to find their agency and had no time nor energy left. The hotel advised us to book a new car with a reliable company. Since we just had a short trip we had to rent an other car with an other company. We had again to take a taxi to go back to airport to rent a car. It was a very expensive and bad experience. They still do not respond on my e-mails. Surprise cars/Doyouitaly Cons: Dont rectify their mistakes, Far too many to list - incompetent, No car given, Useless. Absolutely don't rent with Surprise cars and DoYouItaly!!!

It sucks!!! I booked a Suzuki and they gave me a Panda, I paid for full insurance and they tell me that for any damages I have to pay and then turn to Booking group. A word of advice: stay away from sur price and Booking group

The worst rental company I've ever met. AutOne (autoone) | suprice (this company have many names) is a fraud company in my opinion. They attract clients with discounts but when you return the car you can pay much more than the price on the market. In my case, I showed the staff the small dot on the door and he said that it is insignificant during I got the car, but when I returned the car they said it is damaged which I had to pay!

The company does offer any instructions on how to get picked up at the airport in Lisbon, Portugal. It absurdly charged me for minor scratches that can easily be repaired by apply polymer scratch remover (available at any auto parts stores). $500 for two minor scratches? No other car rental companies I have ever used on many dozen occasions in many continents ever did anything close to what SunPrice did. Be careful with this rental company!!!

I rented a vehicle provided by SurPrice Car Rental, through Economybookings.com at the Toronto Pearson Airport from April 11 to April 16/2022. The voucher I received from online booking with Economybookings stated that the vehicle had unlimited mileage. The agent at SurPrice rental claimed that i did not have unlimited mileage and said their policy only gave me 200 km a day or 1000 km for duration. He said their policy stated that was the policy for locals and locals meant anyone unless they were from outside Canada. SurPrice would not honor the fact that I had booked and received confirmation of unlimted mileage. The excuse was that is why the rental had been at that price on the internet. As there was no attempt to honor the documentation, I would strongly advise against using SurPrice. DO NOT rent from SurPrice!! Henry Dueck Manitoba Canada

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! SCAMMERS! Tried to charge me over €500 for a hairline scratch on an old Toyota Yaris ! What they do is take a low resolution pictures on car collection which they then show you on drop off to prove the car had no damage. Make sure you take your own high res photos guys on car collection. Also, very unprofessional, rude staff who does not car about customers. No airport pick up or drop off. Don't be tempted by their lower than the competitors prices. It is just to lure you in and then scam you. AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!!

Surprice will rip you off! STAY AWAY!! Ordered a gold size car at Venize airport. Flight was changed so I called them a week in advance and notified them. Asked if I needed to do anything else, but said no - all OK! Arrived at airport flight on time, no shuttle. Had to call twice for the shuttle to arrive. When there, halfway through the paperwork, I am told that since I am late (!!) they have given my car to somebody else and offer me the cheapest car they have (Fiat Panda). The norm is to upgrade at no cost in such circumstances. I point out I was not late and that I had to call twice for the shuttle. No help. THe whole experience seems like blackmail, stranded in a parkinglot in the middle of nowhere at night. They guy is deceitful and rude, constantly changing his story why they can't give me a proper car. The car park was absolutely full with other cars, as it was when I returned. The company has a fulll-to-full petrol policy. It came to me empty and the warning light came on after 30 km. Ended up leaving EUR 20 in extra petrol. The lady I talked to intially received my car. She confirmed my story and said she remembered. She started to laugh when she saw the car they gave. Said soryy, but nothing more. No compensation, nothing! Never again! Walk away! They will use any opportunity to rip you off!

On Thursday 24th Feb 2022, I flew to Heathrow with my young son and we rented a car from SurPrice. Once we landed, we phoned the office and someone was there to pick us up within minutes. We were taken to the office on Bath Road and after a quick exchange, we were shown our lovely white Kia jeep (I had only paid for and expected a small VW Golf). We had a lively couple of days exploring Paultons Park and staying in Surrey. We returned the car on the Saturday and the staff very promptly checked the jeep and mileage (you fill it back up level to level so the same as when you got the vehicle) then we were on our way. We got a lift back to the airport and only when we were on the plane, my little boy realised he did not have his beloved blanket and Teddy which he has had since he was a baby and needs to sleep. On the Monday morning I contacted the Surprice Heathrow office and asked them to have a look for the items. They were found in the reception area and the lady in admin was kind enough to post them back to us in Ireland that very day without charge. To me this is outstanding customer service and they went above and beyond, I will be highly recommending this company to my friends, family and colleagues. Thank you for a wonderful experience ♡

Fraud company. Stay away. When I told that I was calling the police for fraud, they laught and said "please do". Lost 100€ and left the place telling them that I also have kids to take care, but furtunately don't have to steal like them, to feed my kids. Stay away

I made a 4-days rental car reservation with "SurPrice Car Rental" in Toronto, Canada online (through VIPCars.com) for today Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, but today I received a call from the SurPrice Car Rental company (+1-416-800-1222), and I was told that they did not have any rental car available for my reservation! I was told that I had to call VIPCars.com and cancel my rental car reservation! My Rental Car reservation number is: G66627554 Supplier Reference: SC2902118 I am not happy with the "SurPrice Car Rental" service that canceled my reservation at the last minute! VIPCar.com tried to help me to find a new substitute rental car for me, but they could not find any competitive price rental car, so VIPCars.com promised to give me some credit for my next rental from their website. I am not suggesting renting car with the "SurPrice Car Rental", and I am also not trusting the "SurPrice Car Rental" company for my next rental car reservation!

Avoid like the plague! They did not repay my deposit without saying why. I have reported them to my bank. This is a highly unprofessional company. I ignored the other poor reviews because I was attracted by the low prices - but ended paying way more! I booked with a Debit Card, but then they forced me to pay an extra £300 for insurance. They said I couldn't take the car without this because I didn't have a credit card. I said that I'd like to cancel and get a refund. They said I couldn't. So I had to pay. Then they also asked for a £200 deposit which they have never paid back. The latest is that they asked me to share my card details with them! I have refused.
