“It's been a nightmare and I would never use them again - the whole experience of using a hire car after an accident was awful, they charged me for petrol when I returned the car with a full tank (still no refund) and they provided a whole host of ambulance chasing firms with details of my wife's accident - I have been plagued with calls to my mobile ever since - even now 9 months later. They were cheap - but you get what you pay for. Will never ever use them again.”

There was a car accident since Oct 2014 that involved the whole family, alas till present time there was no courtesy car as included in the package talk much of claim payments but rather the monthly premium was their priority as soon as several efforts to arouse them to their legal responsibilities was made, then my personal data were sold to several credit recovery companies asking for full year payment& other unscrupulous demands.
SWINTON IS NOT A DEPENDABLE COMPANY TO TRANSACT WITH, BEWARE!!!!!!!!!”

Swinton would not take on our complaint or consider improving the offer, even though we could prove our car was worth more. The quote was not at all competitive, and when we cancelled as we found a better quote elsewhere, we were charged £50 administration fee. “About six months after taking out my motorbike policy Swindon started taking money out of my account for a vehicle recovery policy that I had not given authority for I phoned them which cost me for the call and still they carried on taking money so I had to block all payments to Swindon with my bank !!!”
