“Purchased a land rover discovery paid on the day of sale booked a collection slot at Doncaster im from South Wales arranged with a transport company to collect and paid !!!Day before collection received e mail to say they had made an error and the vehicle should have been sold . After a few e mails it appeared that they have the right to cancel a sale . It took over 3 weeks to receive refund and i have e mailed six times regarding my out of pocket expenses re collection not one reply regarding any compensation Court case ?? should come to this through no fault of my own i’m out of pocket !!! “Picked up a car from Bristol yesterday and Daniel he deserves credit and a promotion.
Not only with myself, but with other customers he is willing to help them out and advise, I seen some guys struggling with their car whilst inspecting and Daniel helped them resolve their concerns straight away.
Great member of staff and an asset to the business, has an excellent work ethic.”

“I used Synetiq to buy a replacement engine for my son’s car. The engine arrived with small ball-bearings in the sump and had a very loud bottom end noise when running. I contacted Synetiq asking what validation checks had been done on the engine prior to sale and their response was its sounded okay when we started it up. After considerable discussion they agreed to replace the engine on the condition that the faulty engine was returned to them. The second engine duly arrived but unfortunately it developed an extremely loud top-end noise after running on idle for about thirty minutes. Synetiq were contacted with the request to send one of their mechanics to listen to the engine which they declined. They offered a third replacement engine or a refund, but only if the faulty engine was returned to them. I suggested to Synetiq that they should consider additional reimbursement for the time and effort installing two faulty engines which they had supplied, their response was no, they could only refund the purchase cost.
Throughout the above debacle, Synetiq were extremely difficult to contact, their complaints Email facility would only respond after chasing them and even then, it took five or six days to respond. Their online Chat was almost useless as they had to refer to their manager who was never available.”

“Hi I am just looking with the amount of reviews this company has on trust pilot it has a 4.5 rating how is that possible? A big question mark against this company in concern. They clearly fraudsters end of stop . They getting with it for a long time now . Just cleaning observe there online auctions on line . They have there own bidders working for them on
Line . Thirdly they have changed there name so many times . You can not see the other bidders information who is bidding under the g d p r rules”

We do not have our own bidders on the auction. Also, after a successful merger of 4 businesses came SYNETIQ and we have remained under the same name ever since. I hope this helps.

“Bought many cars from them but i always new that they run up there own bids my transport guy gave me this imfo years ago, some cars arrived ok but most had body marks that u can never see in there poor pictures they never show a pic of the full side showing the damage just a rear corner shot so it's a gamble if u really want to mess them up the best thing you can all do to mess there system up that's if you dont want to buy from them again is to buy as many cars on the same day as you can and obviously dont pay for them all they can do is to block your account and if you want to get back on there do it in some one else's name but why bother.

“don't bother even trying to bid on anything on their salvage auction as they trot you up.....
these are the biggest bunch of cowboys there is.....
all the watched items I have seen on the website are reserve met, but low and behold 80% of them are back on a week or two later. some even multiple times.
you'd think that because its a big name, you'd have some kind of fighting chance of buying salvage at half decent prices. OH NO the bigger the name the bigger the sh@tf@@kery”

Engine finally turned up a week later, looking like it had been removed by a digger! Most parts attached are smashed and broken. Didn't run due to many faults and problems.
