“Scam No taxi No refund Rip off”

“Avoid this company at all costs. Had a wedding so booked taxi a month in advance, five days before we had an email saying it had been cancelled with no explanation. Did receive a refund eventually but not including the booking fee. Rebooked (stupidly) and called to confirm it was definitely booked etc. Person seemed confused why I was calling and didn’t seem to understand. Said not to worry it was all confirmed and they would call a taxi company. Two minutes after I hung up we had a notification come through that an uber was booked for us… day of the wedding no driver was assigned and then it was cancelled 5 minutes before. Honestly just call a taxi company yourselves they can’t be trusted.”

“Hello, Taxicode's website is very deceiving. The destination I choose was not clear. I choose Southampton and they assigned me to Central London. I tried to change the destination which was impossible. Canceling the entire trip was also impossible. Refunds are impossible. I feel it was their website that was at fault. And, this is for a trip that was 2 months from the reservation, so a change should have been possible.”

“I shall keep you posted to see if i get a refund. Otherwise i would say i got scammed as i paid up front, no confirmation email or correspondence, received a phone call today claiming a taxi was on its way to me (even though i booked it for next week). No recourse etc”

“Booked a taxi days in advance. Didn't turn up and left us stranded at 10pm at a remote station in 2c weather. No communication at all, I had to call them to be told no taxes were available. Appalling.”

“DO NOT BOOK !! STAY AWAY the pre booked taxi never arrived . WAITED 30 MINUTES FOR A CAR. WAS ADVISED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. WHEN I DID NOT RECEIVE THE REFUND AND RE CONTACTED THE COMPANY THEY REFUSED TO HONOUR THE REFUND !!!!”

“Be warned. If something goes wrong you don't get refunded and their support is practically non-existent. Much better to just use Uber”

“I had to cancel because your site was not working properly: I tried to book for november the 2nd in the morning (I even manipulated the little clock's hands on your site) and I was booked automatically for the next day at noon ! My refund demand has been refused according to company policy!!!!!!!!”

“Utter useless. Made a booking. They failed to confirm if a driver had been assigned. So I called them and was told it was confirmed and would receive a confirmation. Nothing sent. Called back and then was told booking was cancelled (this was 20-minutes before scheduled pick up). Do not use this service unless you enjoyed wasting time.”

“Abysmal service, paid in advance foe a return trip to and from a wedding,and had taxis confirmed. No taxi turned up, just lots of messages saying car was on it's way, before a final message saying no taxis were available. Left stranded at midnight miles from my accommodation. After several calls and messages I was refunded about half of what I paid up front. Make your own arrangements, do not trust this company. 1 star is one too many.”

“Booked them to take us, a party if 6, to a family wedding. Paid in full in advance and then 2 days before they cancelled the bookng advising that a refund would be in my account within 3-5 days. That was 10 days ago and still no refund. Strongly recommend don't use them, as I feel have ben scammed. BTW I could get review on by ticking 1 star but reality they would definitely get none.”

“I can confirm that this company is a scam. They don't answer their phone 9 times out of 10. They charged me $538 US to book a car to pick up my Mum. I called back immediately to cancel as they couldn't confirm that a driver or company would actually be there to pick her up. Took me 7 calls to find someone who picked up. They told me I couldn't cancel (even though the trip was for 3 days hence) so they would take the whole cost. Now no one will answer the phone. I have called my credit card company to dispute the charge. What a scam. I wish I had read the reviews first.”

“Criminals / Scammers. Booked a taxi through Taxicode for an airport transfer and they took payment right away. Hours went by, no taxi confirmed. This was time sensitive, so dropped them an email and called Customer Service. We were assured we would get a driver assigned within 2 hours. This did not happen. Called back hours later to be met with an incredibly rude and forceful Customer Service agent who was straight up lying to us. They said it is confirmed on their end, although I had the booking in front of me, saying unconfirmed. He said to email him the screenshot, which I did, and obviously he claimed he did not receive it. I requested a refund seeing as it was not confirmed, and they refused and said it would be a full cancellation fee, even though they were unable to accommodate the trip. He said he would ensure a driver is assigned by 8pm and if it isnt then call him back as he was apparently working until 10pm. No driver was assigned, gave them a call, and their customer service phone line had closed. Lies upon lies. It gets worse.... We then got a text saying we DID have a driver - they had just booked an Uber. I live in an area we do not have Uber, so obviously no Uber driver accepted the job, so come 5am when the pick up was due, no one was there. So, train, bus and flight missed due to Taxicode, and they are refusing to refund. The most rude and agressive customer service agents who lie to you. They take your money and do nothing. They are criminals, scammers and fraudsters. Avoid at all costs.”

“I booked through Taxicode for a fixed fee Heathrow to Covent Garden . The phone number for the allocated taxi company was incorrect leading me to believe it was a scam The driver failed to turn up, eventually I found out they had gone to the wrong terminal, I was advised to get a taxi from the rank & was told it would be cheaper than their service. It cost me 35 pounds more , I have requested payment of the difference but the company will not respond to my emails & cannot help on the phone , THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOT DELIVERING ON THE CONTRACT DO NOT USE”

“Absolute scam - I wish I had seen reviews before booking. Terms and conditions very hard to find on their website. Despite not confirming my bookings they are only giving me 10% refund on ~£500 of bookings. Trying to dispute through credit card provider as complete scammers.”

“Taxicode Took £281 for a journey never made! Taxicode Booking Number #TCC47C54043D5 Please be very careful of this company. We have been badly exploited by their customer service representative who has taken advantage of a "no refund policy on their advanced bookings" to take £281 from my bank account, for a booking made but cancelled within 15 minutes of booking due to a misunderstanding from reading their website as to what type of vehicle was being supplied Taxicode Agent said "you will lose your money as we have a no refund policy" I responded we had only just made the booking 15 minutes earlier so why would we need to pay £281 as a penalty for not understanding their website. We are entitled to cancel if a mistake has been made. The TaxiCode rep Kabeer was very unhelpful and rude and he refused to refund - we have been wrongly charged alot of money for a service that Taxicode did not provide - avoid this company!”
