“tried ordering late afternoon, some how payment didn't go through. Spoke to some-one at Batt Guys the following morning and everything sorted. Battery arrived within 24 hrs, NOT YET OPENED because if the very bad weather, will let you know if it fits okay. Thanks”

“The battery guys was very good however they need to use someone else rather than parcel force they said it would be here between 10.30 and 11.30 didn’t come then said between 2 and 3 didn’t come rang them they said definitely before 5 it came at 5.30 and I lost a days work because of them and the driver just laughed”

“The battery guys were very kind to donate a leisure battery to the charity Parkinson's uk Oldham branch....the battery we very much needed will be used to light up our container where we store all donated goods to be sold at charity events .it means a lot to our charity as it is a very worthy cause....again thanku so very much for the donation of the leisure battery 👍👍👍😊”

“What I like most in deliveries is that the company notifies you what the time range the item comes. This was the case. The battery I bought is ok. I don't know only how I can get the 2 years guarantee for it, for along with the delivery there was no respective paper.”

“Buying a battery here was a waste of money. Buying cheap is buying expensive, is the moral of this story. The battery was completely dead after a few weeks. When I enquired as to the warranty, I was pointed to the company's terms and conditions. In there, it said, a car battery could be completely flat when not used for a couple of weeks. Now this is news to me, as many people leave their cars at airports when going on holiday abroad, only to find the car starts upon their return. So I'm sorry, I won't be told horse droppings are figs. In addition, in order for The Battery Guys to 'test' the faulty battery, I have to fork out more money to courier the battery to them, and again to get it back. A warranty that requires the consumer to part with more money in order to rely on the warranty, is not much of a guarantee to me. Avoid - the £15 you save by buying a battery online isn't worth it. Get one from your local dealer, or Halfords, so you can walk in there with the battery if it proves to be sub-standard or faulty.”

Good morning Marius, I am sorry you feel like your experience with The Battery Guys has been below your expectations. The advice on the website is correct in that leaving the car for an extended period of time can cause the battery to discharge. However, this is more common on an older battery than a brand new one, so I would suggest that this could be an issue with the battery and would be liable for a replacement under warranty should the battery be returned to us.
