“Easiest battery replacement I’ve ever had. I input my reg and was then presented with several choices. Went for a mid range battery which was an upgrade to my original and was priced significantly cheaper than halfords. Paid my money and it arrived the next day. Loved that delivery was free but I opted to pay the additional £2 for guaranteed next day. Took about 3 minutes to replace the battery in my car. (It’s just a battery after all). Can’t really fault the service. I’m definitely recommending this to friends and family.”

“Terrible customer service. I ordered a new battery on next day delivery, but on delivery the battery was damaged & I did not accept it from the courier. I called the batteryguys to ask that they send out a replacement for the next day so my car was back on the road, but they told me they did not trust their customers to report a fault, and that the courier needed to return the battery to them before they would issue a replacement. I spoke with their customer services team at length who told me their management was on holiday, but when I called back later in the day I spoke with one of their directors - Simon Henry, who was n more helpful, and explained that he would not make any profit out of my business because they are not insured for damaged goods being replaced. He also refused to refund my money until the battery had been reported as damaged by the courier - eg. that i was a liar, and that no other online retailed takes the word of the customer. terrible service & I strongly recommend you order elsewhere.”

Good morning, I am very sorry that you did not have a favorable experience with The Battery Guys. Our policy on the matter is that we will always replace goods damaged in transit once we receive proof of the matter, either from the customer or our courier company who will inform us of any dammages.

“I sent an email to battery guys, last Wednesday to say thanks for the excellent service. I ordered my battery on the phone,paid for it, received it on time,the following morning as promised, I fitted battery during the morning and was back on the road,same day,in rural Northumberland. First class service,I would recommend the battery guys to all my friends and anyone else with battery trouble. Thanks, ken Bates.”
