“Placed online order in November Order never arrived, I moved on and found some boots from another better store Now February they charge my credit card and say order is been delivered. Can not get through to customer service. Very bad experience would not recommend this company.”

“Buyer beware! The Muck Boots I bought for £120 lasted only 1 year, with only a few months of occasional use within that time. I got in touch with the company when one heel flapped loose. Despite having sent off multiple photos of the damaged product as requested, the company made no response. When chased twice, the response was a one-line "Unfortunately this is past our 12 month warranty period so we are unable to help any further with your purchase." Not even a suggestion on how I could fix the heel. I reminded them that I had very recently bought a second pair of boots and spent a total of £250 with them in one year, adding that I would give the company every opportunity to be helpful before leaving a poor review, and would only do so as a last resort. There was no response. It is very disappointing, given the website's emphasis on the standard and quality of the product, as well as the statement, "We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction." This is patently not the case.”

“I have experienced several issues with defective workmanship. Cracking/separation at the seams. The company replaced one pair with a lesser cost boot. Recently sent an email with photos of defect and picture of receipt. No response.”

“The inside protection around the heel completely collapsed after being worn for just 2 months , approx. 40 times. The Company told me it's normal wear and tear but they would give me a 20% discount off a new pair. It's a laughable response from an arrogant company.”

“Great boot until they fall apart then u r done 40-50 hours of wear and sole came off.. both feet and they said we won’t do anything cause they over a year old… wow… way to keep customers happy and brand devoted… never again and my money somewhere else…”

“Horrific CS experience. My original pair cracked and blistered and when I contacted customer service I was told that my warranty request would need to be submitted through the original retailer where I purchased the boots even though I had my proof of purchase and purchased 6 pairs all at once. The retailer was useless and as a consolation Muck offered a 40% off coupon on my next purchase. When I went to use the discount (which had no expiration date or restrictions) it was not valid. I again reached out to CS through their Facebook messenger and was told I had to call the CS number as this was their Canada distributor. I let it go and decided to make another purchase during their Fall sale. My order arrived a week later than their guaranteed delivery and one box was absolutely filthy (covered in black dust) which means it was intentionally packed that way. The box was missing a pair and I have been on hold for over an hour and still no representative has answered my call. Their responsiveness to emails is equally lacking. Of the boots that did arrive, two pairs look like they were meant for an outlet sale as the craftsmanship is sloppy. Since they are for my children I'll let minor quality control issues slide but we'll see how they actually hold up. I've eaten lunch, done laundry, written this review and I'm still waiting for an agent to take my call...”

“I bought a pair of boots and had to return due to size issues. Exchange was fast and I’m happy with them now. I bought my wife a pair and again a size issue ( one boot smaller then the other ),it’s been a nightmare. Boots were returned 20 days ago but no refund. When I call, I have been on hold for at least 30 minutes each of the 5 times I have called. No answer 3 of the 5 times, the two other times the person at the other end hung up on me. Time well wasted on my part. No one answers my emails. I unfortunately will be taking my business elsewhere. Hope to get my money back at some point though.”

“Muck Boots Chore 2K boots have both developed splits at the back of each boot immediately above the reinforced heel box. Also peeling of vertical reinforcement strip on the back of one, and both boots have the lining torn and detaching at the heels. Only 13 months old and used for only a few of those months two or three times a week. Muck Boots customer service don't want to know. Looks to me like fundamental design or production faults. So the boots fail with limited use and no customer backup or support if you're just outside the 12 month warranty period, can't recommend the company or it's products, very poor.”

“Extremely disappointed with my Muck Boots. Having paid over £80 for a pair of boots (inc. postage) which barely last 12 months of gentle dog-walking, and to be told that my warranty claim is refused because I was just outside the claim period. Don't waste your money, you're better of buying a cheap pair of wellies from the supermarket - they'll probably last longer! 😡”

“Warning to those who need to exchange for a different size ... the exchange must be made within 30 days of purchase. That is not noted on Muck Boot website. Return policy is within 30 days, however they don't specify that also pertains to exchanges. The company would not work with me to exchange two pairs of boots beyond 30 days. Also, their call center must be short staffed. I attempted to get through on three occasions where I had to hang up after waiting for longer that 15 minutes.”

“Been buying muck boots for the last 10 years all I can say is that I won’t be buying again they must now be using some very cheap materials as they don’t last 6 months now the old ones would stay waterproof till you wear them down to no tread the new ones crack on the uppers and the sole has just dropped off of the last pair I bought stay clear if you want to have dry feet”

“Boots are great, although had to send back & get a larger size as size 7 didn’t fit. No half sizes. Very disappointed with the refund/exchange procedure. Had to send them back (at my cost) order more with delivery again paid by ME. Over £19 on delivery! Pretty rubbish. Never heard of a shop where you can’t just order a free exchange..... Get with the times. Especially when you can’t try them on. Won’t purchase again.”

“I had to return my muck boots order since they didn't fit. I called customer service twice to see why no credit has been given on my American Express card. They acknowledge receipt of shoes but don't know why no credit has been given Shoes returned on july 1 it's now the 16th. They can't tell me anything they just say yeah we got the shoes.you will get a refund but we don't know when.”

“Very happy with my Muckster Low boots! They are so comfy and keep the dirt, mud and water off my feet. Bought a size 8 which were too big but fit my friend who is size 9 perfectly. Ordered size 7 which are just right.”

“I have worn muck boots for over 10 years; working on heavy equipment, farm, and hunting. Muck has been the boot that I wear daily. I have 4 pairs. Over the past 3 new pair of Muck boots that I have purchased, the pull tab to assist pulling on the boot have torn loose. After inspection, I found that the stitching was terrible. Quality is now compared to made in China. Muck, you best get your quality back in line or loose my future purchases.”

“I used to love my Muck Boots, they lasted ages and were warmest boots you can get. Obviously the manufacturing has changed. They are ok if you potter about in them but if you're a proper welly wearer they are rubbish. Normally they will split across the toe. My last pair have lasted 4 months and split at the heel. Not being one to give up I have ordered another pair, I'm always a size 5 but I can't get my feet in these. Obviously the Muck Boot site only show their 5 * reviews. Sort it out Muck Boot you can do better than this. Never throw your receipt away!!”

“The ladies Tremont supreme tall boots leak it’s disgusting no one emails you back .. £2.99 wellies from a supermarket don’t leak never mind £110 ones, these were a Christmas present and have only been worn twice by my partner and are now useless”
