“Bought this for my 5yr old sons room because he has broken 2 tvs previously and it does the job. It was easy enough to install it’s a bit pricey especially on a single income with 5 kids but then again so is replacing the tv. I wish the no erase indoor options weren’t so expensive it would have been nice to get one of those”

“The TV shield works great. I have had it mounted on the south wall of my house facing the covered deck for more than 5 years now without any problems. Since I keep mine closed all the time, I have to use a blue tooth speaker on the deck table, but that is not a problem.”

“The TV Shield is a great product. It does a great job of sealing in the tv and protecting it from weather and dust. There are only two things I would change would be to have a removable plastic cover and the option to use your own mount. I already owned a full motion mount and wanted to be able to use it separately from moving the whole enclosure so I had to modify the back portion and seal it off from the weather. I had to do a test with a hose and a rain storm before I installed the tv to make sure my changes kept it weatherproof. Keeping the plastic on definitely muffles the sound of the tv so using external speakers is almost a must with the plastic down. All in all, it's a great enclosure whether you use the included mount or not.”

“Overall the product is awesome. The instructions could use some improvement. I watched the Utube video (the latest one, as there are several) probably 8-10 times including backing it up and stopping. Making sure you have any/extra power cords or cables etc. for future use should be emphasized a little more. I purchased the outdoor speakers from the web site but the correct cables were not included and didn't get plugged in, bummer so we have to take the whole thing down the plug in the needed cables.”

“This is our second TV SHIELD PRO for 60” TV. We do love this product. Both our TV SHIELD PROs have the heater since living in LI NY with very cold conditions. Only problem we had both times was with delivery service not handling it with care. The customer service department was extremely helpful especially Andrea who was top notch.”

“The produce works as indicated but the only short coming is sound is extremeily muffled due to being inside a box there should be some way that this is amplified to over come this”

“The product (65" Enclosure Anti Glare with 2 Fans) is as advertised. Family and friends love it. Installation was pretty straight forward. There were 2 braces bent during shipping and the company responded quickly with replacements. My customer service rep, Andrea Taouche is a great professional.”

“Shipping was very quick. Before ordering I spoke to their service rep who advised I needed an anti glare screen. I ordered regular since foolishly on their part the anti glare isn't included in combo kit. For 80% of our viewing over 3 weeks of using its fine, when there is glare we open the screen. I am disappointed that neither of the keyed locks latch since they don't align with the grooves. Also the threaded studs don't align easily. Everything aligned okay as delivered, but when you hang the box it creates enough flex to misalign everything including the prop rods to open the screen. Overall it needs to be a little more robust.”

Thank you so much for purchasing one of our products. We apologize that we don’t have the kits with the anti-glare front panel. We already have so many options for people to look at, that doing another eight items makes it that much more difficult to pick. However, we also understand your comment and will consider creating additional kits. We would really like to speak with you regarding the locks. If they are not working properly, we will be more than happy to troubleshoot and ultimately make it right however we can. It may just be that you need to apply some additional pressure with your thumb while locking for the first few months until the seal compresses and settles. Or it could be a defect, in which case we want to work with you to make it right. Regarding the stud alignment with the polycarbonate, this is a somewhat typical thing with our enclosures and especially in our larger units, but we have good news which is it will become easier. We do use a material for the back housing called High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMWPE). The inherent trait with HMWPE is that it is a much more pliable material than say an ABS. We use HMWPE because it can last 30 years in a direct sun harsh UV environment and will not fade or crack like most other plastic materials. It is a more expensive product but is the right product for long term outdoor use. The downfall is that when the unit is open it can do exactly what you said which is allow the front polycarbonate to fall a tad, so then the studs and holes need to be aligned. This does mostly subside after a few months of the unit being in place and hung on the mount. HMWPE has some properties that give it memory. So, after a while when it is hung on your mount and goes through some hot days and cooler night weather cycles, it will become much easier to open and close the front panel and will align much better. Please contact us as we want to make sure you can lock the unit. We hope this information is helpful and we are very sorry you are not completely satisfied with your purchase at this point. We would like to do whatever it takes to make sure that you are though.

“The TV Shield is great and the speakers are working well and all look great but what I think you should know that isn't all that normal in today's world is the customer support is out of this world. They answer the phone when it rings and if they don't answer they call right back. They worked with me until they could make sure all my issues were solved. What an awesome company to work with!!”

“I got this to install in my gazebo; it's mounted onto a motorized unit in the ceiling that brings it down to a proper viewing angle. It's super solid and so far is working great. I got the 55" version with the anti-glare glass. I do get glare during the day as my swimming pool is nearby. Shipping was quick and the instructions were clear. I had some questions before I ordered and the staff was super helpful. The unit is pretty large. I purchased a weatherproof soundbar through another vendor and had my contractor mount it on top of the unit because the fan port is on the bottom. If I had to improve the TV Shield I'd look for a way to easily mount a soundbar on top or beneath it.”
