“Jessica in the Glasgow branch was very helpful. My wife's Rado watch needed a new battery. Jessica explained the process, including re-sealing the casing. She also gave me the opportunity to have the watch professionally cleaned, which I took. The watch was ready when Jessica said it would be, and looked as good as new,”

“I left my Rotary watch with the Watch Lab, so that a new battery could be installed and a new strap fitted. The clasp from my original strap was removed and fitted onto the replacement strap that I purchased from the The Watch Lab. The watch was also cleaned in a professional manner, and I was absolutely delighted with the watch after it was returned to me. It was like having a brand new watch for a minimum outlay. I cannot recommend The Watch Lab highly enough.”

“Make of Watch: Rolex. Work Carried out: Service, New winder, New Glass. Cost £945 inc. VAT Location: Fulwood, Preston I took my watch for a service and repair to the Watch Lab in Fulwood in Preston. I was attented to by Jim who I found a very polite gent. when the work was complete I was advised my watch was an automatic movement, so after 24 hours I had to take the watch back because it stopped! Surprise, surprise, I was then told the watch was a manuel wind. Which I was little surprise at given how knowledgable Jim appreared. I had been winding the watch for years previous but Jim was having none of it. The watch looked like new on it's return and I was more than pleased with it. I was quoted 8 to 10 weeks but was complete in 5. I would have no problem recommending the Watch Lab to any of my friends. Thank You”

“I put my watch into the Glasgiw Silverburn branch for a new battery. Staff were very helpful and it only took about half an hour. Just long enough to go for a coffee. I'll definitely be back to the watch lab in future”

“My 50 year old Omega watch needed a routine service and adjustment as it was gaining. The Leeds branch gave me a precise estimate of cost, and returned my watch three months later in pristine condition and spot on timekeeping. The downside is that it was VERY expensive. I gave Watch Lab a try because of poor service via local agents and Swatch, in the past. They were expensive, but never got it right first time. Watch Lab were able to give a more precise quote, and gave a better outcome, but at about twice the previous price. The service would rate as very good, but its difficult for me to judge the value.”

“I took my Rotary watch for a new battery and clean to the Manchester Arndale store. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant. We have used their services on many occasions and have been very happy with the services. They keep very good records and immediately found our previous repairs. They told me that my watch had lost a couple of stones round the edge of the face and would I like them to replace them, there was no pressure when I said I would wait until another time. They told us the watch would ready within half an hour and when I returned it was ready for collection as promised.”

“I have used the Watch Lab before on a service for my Tudor sub when they had the small store in a Preston mall and I was pleased with the service. This time round it was a bit more than a service, self winder not working being one of the problems, the watch is 25 years old by the way and it has had a hard life. Anyway, tracked the new office down on the outskirts of Preston and met Jim there, we had a chat about what was/was not happening and Jim advised that my watch would be away for approx 12 weeks. When I collected my sub It was like a brand new watch, keeps perfect time and I've treated it to a watch winder as I don't wear it on a daily basis.”

“Great knowledge & expertise shown when getting my 'treasured' watch repaired. Most jewellers won't touch it & offer to send to the manufacturer for even a change of battery which can often mean weeks or even longer till it is returned. On this occassion all done perfectly in 1 & half hours!! Perfect service & friendly staff too.”
