Purchased lights fitment that was delivered to a neighbour but no one lives at the delivered address. White company have been messing about for near to a month saying they are looking in to it. Called today and was told to report it to the police. I have decided to make a claim via PayPal to try and get my money back as the police are not willing to give me a crime number & have basically laughed that the white company would advise me to do such a thing.

Well I was just about to order a beautiful blue and white jumper from your spring collection but gosh when I read the reviews I absolutely changed my mind. Thanks to all who took the time to give a review or I could have been down €159. Shocking reviews from a real favourite shop of mine. I always buy from the shop never online.

Terrible service.I have a gift vouchers from white company,they told me there is no expire date,came to the shop and they told me they are not except them anymore!so I lost £60 , terrible service, didn't expect that from white company

I wanted a duvet that didn't contain ay animal products i.e. down. The White Company sell an alternative to down duvet so I thought this was great. However, when I contacted them to ask what they filled it with, they responded with an ambiguous answer of 'super fine recycled fibre'. Eventually, they confirmed that they use recycled down! Utterly astonishing and blatantly misleading. If you're vegan or just don't want to use down, beware, the Alternative to Down duvet still has down in it!

Shame can't give no stars. Products great but costumer services are more than shocking, had numerous issues over the last 3 years. Even got a gift voucher as took 6 weeks and numerous calls and emails to get nearly £600 back. Yet you can only redeem one voucher. The merge voucher does not work, aparently my pc. Or is it so you buy more?

I bought a men's cashmere textured jumper last Christmas for my husband. He has worn it three times and it was stored and washed according to the instructions. It has completely lost its shape and is no longer wearable - such a waste of £200. Do not buy this item as I note they have the same jumper in a different colour this year. I have tried contacting customer services but they have said there is nothing they can do as it is outside the 6 month manufacturer warranty. Really frustrating.

Appalling service. Place order with PayPal so money taken immediately which usually indicates a contract between parties. Not so with The White Company who the day after cancelled my order and still waiting to hear why. Called Contact Centre who could only apologise and say I was not the only one as apparently there was an issue with one item of stock so the Contact Centre manager had decided to cancel any order with that item. There must be a newer person in charge who does not understand how orders work as in the past just the item out of stock was cancelled. Communication is sadly lacking and the manager requires training in customer service and order management. They obviously like their people to have to deal with many complaints and the start for customer service is for that poor person who had to deal with the many others in the same situation as me.

Ordered an item in the sale. It was in stock when I ordered it. The White Company has now cancelled the order saying the item is no longer in stock. I called customer service who have accepted the item (with the same product code is back in stock) but they won’t honour my order. Absolutely terrible approach from this retailer. All about profit and not about customer care.

Ordered something in error. Phoned to try to get a refund. Initially everything looked promising and I was assured I would get a refund within 72 hours. Then they declined to refund and now are ignoring my (polite) requests for a response. Very disappointed. Will never buy from them again.

Overpriced and poor quality seems to be the White Company style nowdays. £69 for a top that is made from t shirt material. 2 tops I have ordered where both made from t-shirt material and completely see through.

Still waiting for my refund I ordered a light back in February which when it arrived I decided may be too big for my room. I contacted the white company to get the item picked up as it classes as furniture so cannot be returned to store. They advised that wincanton would pick up the light and make contact to arrange. 10 days passed and no contact so I contacted them via the online chat where they advised me to give them a bit longer. After 2 weeks of waiting I contacted again and they referred it to DPD to collect. DPD came to pick it up. The next day DPD tried to re deliver it to me! After eventually getting the light back to where it needed to go on April 7th the white company confirmed they had received the light back. They asked me to put my card information in over the phone which I did and here I am on 27th April and I have still not received my £450 back! I have called 4 times, had several online chats and still waiting for the manager to call me back and have no idea when I will receive my money back and they cannot tell me or identify what the issue is. I’ve been referred to accounts then IT and it appears that everytime I call nothing has been done. I am a big white company fan but this has completely ruined it for me. Absolutely avoid dealing with them if you can buy similar elsewhere incase you have to return something to them. Having looked on Twitter it would appear I am not the first to fall Victim to this shambles

Don't buy their electronic diffuser. Its exactly the same as cheaper brands but you pay extra for the name. Ours went wrong and just stopped working. They wouldnt replace it! LOUSY service!!!

Couldn’t have been less helpful. Ordered a robe that never came, after a few weeks got in contact and they told me it was out of stock. Have now spoken to 8 people on live chat and calling about a refund no one can give me a straight answer about when I’ll have it. It’s been 6 weeks since I put the order through! The worst customer I have experienced in a very long time.
