After we closed on the house we decided to have the old fireplace removed and a new energy efficient wood burning fireplace installed in its place. “We had Mark R. out to our house to take a look at the gas fireplace in the basement. It runs off of a remote which takes 9-V batteries and ours was dead, so he ran to a hardware store nearby to pick some up. He also took the time to show me how to disassemble to fireplace and replace the AA batteries for the receiver, which was the underlying issue, so I can check it myself next year.
Mark R. was polite and friendly the entire time and wore a mask both in and outside of our house.
