“It turned out beautiful! The new gas fireplace is quiet, and gives off a lot of heat. The workman was so polite, clean and efficient in his work. He was very thorough in taking pictures of damaged side walls and then showing us and explaining everything that he would be doing. I was very pleased with the office staff also as they were very professional and kind and made sure they held an installation time that fit both my schedule and the length of time needed for installation. “Gavin Lemley was my technician today and boy am I glad to have called this company over the others advertised on Google! All of the certifications these techs go through ensure a thorough inspection throughout. He was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful breaking everything down into layman’s terms. After the inspection he was able to determine it was actually unsafe to be lighting a fire in the fireplace based on the current conditions. He was patient enough to show me the areas that were damaged and what could happen with further fireplace use. He recommended repairs and was honest with the costs. Come to find out, not many other chimney cleaning companies are certified in the courses these techs go through, so I could have ended up with a clean chimney through another company but continued to have the increased risk for a house fire, further damage to the surrounding house structure and back flow of the carbon monoxide into the house with use. “I had a small chimney fire that damaged my chimney liner. Mark and the rest of the team with Chimney Sweeps did a fantastic job helping me work through an insurance claim and then replacing my liner and installing a wood insert in my fireplace. After the installation was complete Mark spent about 2 hours with me getting the first fire set up and showing me everything there is to know about my new insert and how to properly and safely operate it. The only complaint that I have is that I had to wait 6 weeks to get the insert installed based on their workload. Small wait aside, I would recommend this company to everyone I know that has anything from a yearly inspection/cleaning, to a full chimney re-line. Great people, and great company!”
“We had a complete chimney restoration and wood burning insert installed by Chimney Sweeps of America. This was the most expensive home projects we've ever done so I had lots of questions and concerns and the entire team at CSofA was amazing. They came out multiple times before our install to discuss all our options and make sure the unit we were buying would meet our expectations.
On install day they were on time and were very courteous, professional and did great work.
Also - they are CSIA certified and follow NFPA standards. (not all chimney sweeps in town are, do your research!!!)

Mark is extremely professional, arrived early, took the time to walk me through what he was going to do beforehand, and explained the entire process. Where repairs were needed, he talked to me first about them and gave me options. He then followed up with a detailed email, including pictures of our fireplaces, the work that was done, and any future recommendations. I truly wish every contractor we hired were even half as professional, dedicated, and personable as Mark is.
I would also add that the professionalism we encountered began with the office staff when we first called to set up our appointments. Trisha was very friendly, asked detailed questions to ascertain the amount of time that was going to be required for our time slot, followed up with both reminder phone calls and emails. We are extremely happy with all the work Mark did and best of all...we are now enjoying our fireplaces!
