I made an order and simply wanted to cancel it because I chose the wrong item, this, with any other place is a very simple thing to do which does not take any time. However with The Range, you need to call them to cancel it, when I went to contact page to get the number it said "Current wait time: 20 minutes". I called and was placed on the queue started at 36 place and after 1.5 hours I was still on 18th place. And because I chose next day delivery, they won't cancel it because it has been dispatched during the time I have been waiting. Absolutely garbage of service.

If I could give no stars I would. I have been waiting 6.5 weeks for a refund and have no indication of why it’s taken so long or when I will receive my money. I tried calling customer support today as my emails seem to have stopped being responded to. I waited one hour and forty five minutes to get from position 18 to 6 in the queue. I had to hang up because I had to go to work. What a complete shambles this company is. And I have no idea if or when I’ll get my money back!

I have been trying to return an online order for a month. The Range won't take if back I had to complete a request form and take photos of the items I want to return (why). 4 weeks later I still have no return number to send the stuff back. Will never purchase online from The Range again, and advise anyone who reads this to avoid them as well.

I bought a bistro set on the 27th of May. I have received only one box with the table. Called and Messaged DHL (another useless company). No help at all, no answers. Called The Range Customer Service-no answer. Sent an email. They have answered immediately asking me some info and then disappeared. I then went to the shop where I have ordered and bought the item. They have asked me all the informations. And promised me to call me the following day. The following day the guy told me that my case was passed to the managers and they would have let me know ASAP. 10 days later- no answers. I went to the shop 2 days ago, AGAIN. SAME. It's absolutely ridiculous. I work every single day for earning my money. I do not accept to be scammed by you. I want my money back and never anymore I will buy from you. And I will not suggest friend to buy from you.

Very bad customer service, after waiting for more than 30minutes on the phone, the agent on the call was working from home I believe and the dog keep barking bahind him. Terrible, terrible attitude. No appology or solution. Simply said, nothing I can do . I paid extra £6 for tomorrow's delivery but only one item was sent and the other will be delivered on 26th June, looks like coming from China. Really.

Worst customer service by the so called deputy manager I’ve ever experienced in my life, charged twice with proof of money leaving my account and wouldn’t refund as I was told they would over the telephone, avoid shopping here, terrible staff

Returned two garden chairs on the 2nd June no confirmation of receipt no refund ,called customer service it takes well over one hour to respond to no avail,don’t take any notice of there contact form tried twice but no one contacted me,wish I had never got involved and never will again

Really happy with the egg chair, it arrived safely just after the email to say it was dispatched no text or email to inform as to what time or day, but fortunately we were all in. Was well packaged so no damage. Very pleased.

I ordered replacement cushion covers for my outdoor furniture. The quality was cheap and the dimensions were smaller than noted on the website. I contacted the Range via email requesting to return the product. They responded within a couple days (not bad) with approval and asked me to nominate a collection date. I did so and never heard back. I wrote several times asking for additional information, but no one ever replied. I then called the range and spent a hideous amount of time on hold as I was 25th in the queue. The representative said she could not help me but would put a call out to her supplier and ask them to get in touch with me. A week later somebody wrote me and apologised for the delay. They again asked me to nominate a day for collection, which I did. I never heard back from them and they never collected the item. It’s been weeks of no response. Just an awful company. £69 gone.

My husband ordered a garden chair for my birthday but it was lost by the courier. Cancelled the order only for it to randomly arrive a week later. Arranged a return and still have not received a refund, this is now 5/6 weeks since the initial order. Customer service is diabolical - hours waiting on the phone - no one answering. Emails take up to 5 days to answer. Facebook is quicker to reply but passes the buck back to customer service. Avoid this company at all costs.

Ordered an item on line and after opening I noticed that it was damaged (scratch on the top) but no refund or any resolution. Spend so much of my time on the phone or emailing but just getting fobbed off.

Stlll awaiting my order my order after 14 days used the contact form took five days to respond which was a complete and utter waste of time, also phoned twice to customer services waited 30 minutes on phone before getting through no satisfaction in when delivery would be made phoned again waited 10 minutes before reply still no satisfaction when my delivery would arrive rather frustrated with service tried again to contact to cancel again 35th in quie gave up in the end very bad customer service still awaiting any confirmation on delivery not good enough.

Never buy from the range I purchased an item which I cancelled as wrong size it took me7 telephone calls to customer services and 8 emails before I could get them to pick up my return they picked it up by DX couriers and 5 days later still no sign of my refund . If you ring customer service no one answers only to say your 30 in the queue. I just want my money which they don’t want to give me. It is way too stressful dealing with the range and they don’t value their customers once they have your money they are not bothered about anything else

This item has been on order for less than an hour even though but it took 40 minutes to get though a queue with only 14 people in it on the telephone to request a stop. Their website has no chat facility and no way to interact with Customers services without a phone call. The person on the phone I spoke to was rude, unhelpful and when I asked if I could speak to someone else said "we're going around in circles I'm ending the call". Contact their CEO instead and just got told to wait 10 days whilst they processed a return for something they've not even sent. They said it would have to be delivered before they'd consider a refund. If they needed the money that badly I could have discussed a short term load with them. Instead I've issued a chargeback. I was told they could stop the delivery even though they agreed it had not left their warehouse, not been collected by their delivery company but because they didn't know how to stop a collection. What a joke. clearly just trying to keep customers money longer than needed.

My item not delivered on time, when I tried to call customer service I was on hold for more than two hours and I tried to cancel the item and I have been told let me transfer the call and made me to.wait another more than 1 hour . One of the worst service I ever recieved . I still have no clue when will I recieve my item .

Bought an item yesterday for £9:99, paid tenner cash, then found it was surplus to requirement today. No problem I thought, package not opened in any way, receipt in pocket, good to go. As luck would have it, the same chap that served me yesterday was on the till. Presented the item and receipt told him it wasn’t needed. No problem he said, tapping keys on the till. Here’s the extra penny, I said, placing it on the counter. Don’t need that he says, I’ll give you the exact money. It will be the exact money, I say, in fact, you can give me that exact same ten pound note that I paid with if you like. Nope, can’t do that, I have to give you £9 and 99p. Ok I said, you do that, then I’ll add this penny to my refund and ask you to swap it for a tenner. Nope, not allowed to do that he says. Rapidly losing the ability to remain polite, I ask if I can speak to his colleague to confirm what he has said. No problem at all she says, instructing him to give me a tenner. Ok sir, I just need your name, address, postcode, national insurance number, passport, driving license, utility bill proof of payment, shoe size, dental records, letter of recognition from your GP, birth certificate, decree nisi, you get the picture. They don’t ask for any extras when you buy with cash, so imo the valid receipt from the day before is sufficient. Told him my name, and said you’re getting nothing else. Couldn’t reimburse me, but colleague could, and did. At least there was one realist on duty then. Why so difficult?

Would not buy from them again utterly rubbish got a stand and put it together to find two mis I lined holes and now can’t get screws out spoke to the customer service and they asked for proof done that and yet still waiting for a reply to get money back been in touch over four times and still waiting for a refund and pick up would not recommend buying anything from them.

I ordered a Padstow patio table with four chairs expecting a 3 of day delivery from your Worcester store, the table turned up 6 days later the chairs 3 days after that. In the meantime I had to go back to the store to pick up the umbrella myself. I then made the mistake of ordering a gazebo bar from the same store, again expecting a 3 day delivery because surely I wouldn't be messed around again. Alas 9 days later and XL logistics your delivery people have just phoned me to say my (late) scheduled delivery will not take place until tomorrow afternoon. My conclusion, having belated read the reviews, is that your service is not fit for purpose.

The range plus online customer service and returns procedure is diabolical ! Still waiting for refunds on two items over £110 owed to me . They don't supply you with return addresses , really not good . Will never use them again online . You can't return goods to the address they sent them from , yet dong give you any other information .
