I was constantly on the phone yesterday (29/04/20 ) to try and buy a B stock key board Also I was trying to find out if the extended warranty covered the pickup and return of the item if faulty . The customer service or sales department could not answer but after pushing the question I was then informed that they would send a returns label and I would have to carry this full size keyboard to the local ups office or a post office. When questioned further the girl at customer service said that I would be able to carry this item quite easily.and this wouldn't be an issue ??? The sales department could not answer any technical questions . The staff were in my opinion very abrupt and rude and unhelpful and would not give a first name unless pushed . I had been working at the Nhs for nearly 36 hours on this day and the previous day ,(28/04/20) If I treated or spoke to clients in such a way I would have complaints raised against me . I will never ever recommend or use Thomann again. I advise that others think twice before giving them any custom. I phoned Dv247 who are also based in Germany but with a uk contact number and received excellent service . They will pick up and drop off items by courier with the extended warranty .

U.S. buyers beware: Today marks day 49 waiting for my order to arrive. Order placed on 3/12 and processed the next day. Even after talking to every person in logistics and customer care, they refused to resend a guitar that was less than 200.00. DHL had me request Thomann to open a missing parcel case to investigate (Thomann agreed to open a case on the third request), their response was that it was loaded onto a plane and confirmed landing (they could not give me any correlated evidence for this). I waited three more weeks and opened a case with US customs who CONFIRMED that my parcel associated with this tracking number never left Germany. After relaying this info to Thomann, they explained that when parcels are missing; they will not resend or refund until they have received the insurance money to cover themselves. The guitar was still in stock at this point and I pleaded my case that I just wanted to receive the guitar, to please just send another....they declined. The guitar is now on backorder for months, they sent a refund, absolutely horrendous affair. Sad part is that I still want the guitar, bummer. To add: I am fully aware of the logistics nightmares that the covid situation presents, which is why I was very understanding. Talking with a half dozen reddit users who ordered around the same time or after me all received their parcels in 7-11 days.

I ordered a guitar knowing it wasn't in stock and needed to be manufactured upon ordering it. It took 9 weeks to get it, but 2 if those were due to a customs delay. When I received the guitar I saw that it had been set up well and exactly as described. Unfortunately the shippers were not very careful. It had been hit on the head stock and sustained some minor damage. Once Thomann understood what had happened they offered a fair discount. It wasn't a blunder on their part, but they did try to remedy the situation to my satisfaction. The guitar still plays grea6and I can live with the slight damage.

To sum it up: Terrible communication, ignoring my questions. Their prices are bad as you end up paying a lot more than advertised. I waited almost 5 months on my order and ended up having to cancel it and losing £30 for making the mistake of shopping with them. I preordered the MFB synth pro from Thomann back on November the 22nd having been told that it would ship late December, this got pushed back to January because of the manufacturer, when it came to January they pushed it to February saying that it was due to the manufacturer and yet other who had ordered after me (I speak with them on forums) had been receiving theirs. When trying to speak to Thomann about this I kept receiving generic responses not actually addressing any of my questions always with the same general response saying it wasn't their fault and there's nothing they can do. So in Late Feb 3 months after ordering I finally received the synth and it was faulty! I contacted Thomann about this and said that after all this waiting I didn't want to send this back to then have to wait several months before before receiving my replacement. They reassured me that they had another on hold for me which would be sent out when they received the faulty one back and so I shipped it. When they received it they then told me that I could expect my replacement in March a month later! and then when it came to March they told me April.. again meanwhile other people were continuing to receive their orders which had been made long after me. I decided to cancel my order as it had become a joke with how they had been handling this entire situation (their communication is beyond a joke and it is infuriating sending them a question 5+ times before they actually answer the question rather than just sending back a generic response) When I eventually got my money back from them, it was £30 less than I had paid. I had been charged a processing fee which hadn't been mentioned by them and I didn't get this back. When speaking to them about this they refused to give me that money back saying that it was my banks fault (I've never had this happen with any other company than Thomann) I'll never be ordering from Thomann again, their customer service is beyond awful, their prices are falsely advertised and they just straight up lie to you. I'm surprised they get away with how they operate as a company.

I cannot believe how useless these people are. Supposedly new guitar arrived damaged and faulty. This guitar has been dropped. Thomann, have 'referred' it to customer support, who are now blaming it on the courier and asking me liaise with them. After over 2 weeks I still have a damaged faulty guitar.

We just received a piano we bought on 12/09/2019 and sent for repair on 16/12/2019. The repair of the piano is in the warranty of the purchase, but the piano has returned to us with the same issue, the keys F4, C#5, A5, F6, C #7 and A7 are not working at all. We are a school for 300 children and we are approximately 2 months without a piano because of your unacceptable and irresponsible behavior. We demand a new piano because we are very disappointed from your unprofessional handling of the situation and we couldn’t trust you to repair it again.

First of all bad costumer service. They have some certain things that they say to all costumers and thats it.No solution to your problem, nothing!!Its like you talk with a machine that repeats the same things for different cases over and over again.Secondly the worst returning policy I ever experienced.I order a pair of studio monitor and it was defective!!I told them that its very important for my job to get the new speakers very soon .They said that they had only one delivery option first with Hellenic post and then with DHL- Deutsche post.If I knew that its gonna take 1 month from Greece to Germany (I receive things from US in 2 weeks) then maybe I would keep the speakers and try to fix them here in Greece!!!

Terrible service for returning damaged or broken products, bought a set of decks and had them for 2 months and their was a fault in them. I returned them and over 3 months later I have not received my decks back. Have had 2 separate messages saying they have been dispatched, on emailing them I was told that it's under investigation and to wait another 2 weeks to find out what has happened before they even send them out again..... A month for them to be delivered so another month and a half before I might get to see my decks again!

Delivery was missing some items. Thomann refused to send them because I had already recycled the massive box they shipped everything in.

I bought a TE-80. It arrived in 7days. When I received it, there was a crack in the neck pocket. I contacted Thomann and received a prompt reply. After sending pictures and filling out the paperwork, I received a replacement guitar. Service was fast and courteous. I’m very happy with my happy with my purchase and experience with Thomann.

Very good stock and fast service. Sadly, however, when things go wrong their service falls flat. Having bought an expensive guitar, I had to return it to be fixed. It was sent back unfixed. At that point they were unwilling to proceed further with either a proper fix or a refund, even though they had admitted the guitar was faulty. If you buy a good instrument from them, I am sure you will be happy with their prices and delivery. If things go wrong steer well clear.

just had a horrible experience -- I ordered a C Melody Saxophone, and it turned out to have a disabling manufacturer's defect. I sent photos as requested and they refuse to do anything about it. The photos demonstrate beyond any doubt that the instrument is defective. They insist that I must have pressed the neck in too firmly. Not only is that not true, the defect in the manufacture would make it impossible to press the neck into the instrument in such a way as to damage the keys. This is a dishonest company.

I ordered an ibanez JEM I am EXTREMELY disappointed after waiting so long for this guitar to arrive. The damage to the guitar has nothing to do with the packaging. The transparent pickguard surface has multiple scratches around it and even has dirt behind it like it was used and then repacked. Very disheartening to receive such a product from such a reputed company like Thomann

Harley Benton sc550 paradise Amber. Absolutely shocking guitar. The binding is cracked, the set up was unplayable, the pickups make a very strange uneven tone when left to ring out. The body at the back shows 4 piece joins which look terrible. Very poor instrument. Avoid.

I ordered a guitar back on October 3rd 2018. They declared the first order lost in the mail and sent me a replacement on Dec 3rd 2018. It’s now Dec 19th 2018. Tracking shows it’s still in German Customs. Every time I reach out to them they give me ridiculous answer for the delay. This was the last one and I quote “ Thank you for your e-mail. It’s saying the same status because it has not been scanned from your local post yet. In case you want a refund, please refuse the parcel on arrival and once we have it back here, we are going to refund you the amount. Kind regards, They are trying to tell me that guitar left German Customs, went through US Customs and is at my local post office and didn’t get scanned once. I will never use this company again. Something weird is going on over there.

I recently bought a new bass amp from thomann, free delivery all the way from Germany to the UK, the overall weight was over 100kg so it would have cost a fortune to pay for it myself. Unfortunately one of the cabs was faulty from the manufacturer which was no fault of thomann, however they paid for the return and sent out a brand new one with no hassle. Great company, I always buy from them for my musical equipment
