Hotels were not up to standard. Insisting on visiting gardens in the autumn weather just bc it's on the itinerary. There was nothing to see in the gardens. Vendors annoying us at every turn. And we were told kashmiri is suffering economically..so? What else? Wouldn't take us to the local markets..only where they decide to take us...enough said. Positive was the driver was courteous..

Please check and double check your booking, even if you have confirmation emails from Thomas Cook. We booked our perfect holiday online this summer, so we thought. We got our flight fine, our transfer and then we got to the lovely hotel. The staff asked for our details and then started to look a little puzzled. The next moment the manager came over with two pieces of paper, saying our booking has been cancelled and there are no other rooms. With that she walked off. Luckily my husband’s phone was working so we phoned Thomas Cooks helpline. They were as confused as we were at that point. We had spent a lot of money on our perfect holiday, we even went over budget to have our own pool. Thomas Cook did sort a room out that they said was more money, than what we paid. It wasn’t any where near like the perfect holiday we had booked for ourselves. They did get us a room in the same hotel. If I’d realised then what a waste of money the holiday was in the end. I would have got a flight home that night and saved our money for another holiday. Hoping we would get some decent compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment of it all, has made the whole experience worst. We didn’t do anything wrong other than trust this company with giving us our perfect holiday for a week, after working hard all year and going through some tough time. Now we have to start saving again for hopefully what will be a perfect holiday in a couple of year, because the compensation for the massive mix up wouldn’t get us a weekend away in a descent hotel. I understand there was human error but this company is in charge of people’s dreams. Again please check all your booking details, as I would hate this to happen to anyone else. It’s safe to say I would not recommend this company to anybody who is thinking of going on holiday and spending their hard earn money

booked a holiday and flight from the UK to Fuertoventura. 5 days after booking and paying i received an email saying the flights had not been booked and oferring alternative flights with a different airline. This would mean losing almost 2 days from the 10 day holiday. I checked online and the original RYANAIR flight was still available. I ended up booking the same original flight myself. I should have booked the hotel myself also. Once you've paid for the holiday and arrive there is zero contact from Thomas Cook. They just nook the hotel (and flights sometimes) and you are left to it. This is ok for me as I research everything but would not advised using them if you need more hand holding. In essence just book your flights and hotels yourself. I could have saved £340.00 by doing this.

We booked holidays in advance but 3 days before our departure I've received an email informing me me that the hotel we chose is no longer available and there is an alternative hotel available. I called Thomas Cook over and over again but I was unable to get through. Then I've received a call from TC saying that because I didn't get in touch with them that second hotel is no longer available either! I was put on the spot and asked to choose from 2 more hotels straight away or get a full refund. It was extremely hard to decide without any time to look at the hotels etc. At the end we end up in "4*" hotel. It might have been 4* 30 years ago.... There were lots of things very wrong there starting with non existent air conditioning (which in 35 degrees is not ideal) not working lifts and being on the 8th floor a bit difficult... the only thing which saved it all was the the beautiful view from the balcony and clean beach and sea. Also the transfer from the airport to the hotel was messed up. Believe me, until we were safely checked in we were afraid of not having a place to stay at all. I think this is the last time we booked holidays with Thomas Cook. It's a shame as we did book with them before and the experience was much better.

I paid 85000 for my Kashmir trip, but the sight seeing places are not great.why do I have to pay to see the broken temples . And they did not tell us about some places being closed based on the season. I feel they charge way too much , but not great locations to see. I’m very disappointed.

The main problem is that it is impossible to actually speak to anyone. I got sick of bots!!! Everything is so generic and when i had questions about a specific problem, I found it very time consuming and difficult to get an answer to the simplest of queries. I feel like I have paid premium price for organising a holiday but done all the work myself
