I really didn't want to leave this review but Thompson morgan have given me no other option. I ordered on the 13/3/2020 tomato plug plants and seeds, the seeds came a week later and the plugs said they will be ready 20/03/2020. I logged on at the end of march to see they had been put back to 20/4/2020, [ok no problem] on 22/4/2020 I emailed just to see if they had dispatched and received an email 26/4/2020 stating at the end of april beginning of may at the latest, still waited patiently and nothing so I emailed on the 14/5/2020, 19/5/2020 and 21/5/2020 and been ignored, I have been polite on every message and I now feel totally let down. I have shielded category vunerable people waiting for these plants and feel the company are prioritising new orders instead of fulfilling the people who have already paid. Totally let down I could of sourced elsewhere in hind sight but I thought this was a reputable company with high standards. How wrong I was.

My order was due for delivery by the end of April. Some of the order was delivered but in an unacceptable condition, only fit for the compost bin. I’m still waiting for the rest of the order. No communication, they don’t take phone calls and no response to my e-mails. To add insult to injury every day I receive e-mails from them with new promotions which suggests that they are still taking orders and payments while not supplying customers who have already paid. At a time when a lot of people are struggling financially this is shameful.

I ordered plants in March Bedding begonias, and two Brugmansia. It is now nearly end of May, still no plants and no reply to four emails from the company. I am disgusted with them. Never again. Will I order from them. First two plants arrived after about four week broken, but no reply, and still no plug plants, I was told end of April on the order they have the money. But no communication from them. BAD customer service. I noticed on review site, the owner only replied to praising reviews, but not interested on people’s complaints and lack of plants. ithink this is dreadful from a SO called big, reputable company, no apologies at all. I paid £40 for all this trouble.

Terrible service. Ordered 26th March, received a few dying lobelia (since died), still waiting 2 months later for live petunias. On 'My Account' they apparently cancelled two thirds of my order without informing me and have not refunded me. The few seeds that did come are poor, hardly any germinate. They do not answer the phone and do not reply to emails. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. See the Guardian article ONE YEAR ago (April 2019), warning people not to buy from Thompson and Morgan. Shocking.

I ordered plugs on 21st March and they arrived 7th May after being promised end of April. But as it was lockdown realised this probably could not be avoided. However, when they arrived they was in a poor state. Out of 144 I think at least 48 were dead or nearly dead and have not grown. I have emailed them twice but no one has emailed me back. Phone lines have been continuously closed for 3 weeks. This is the first time of usingThompson and Morgan and would advise people to not use them!!

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. We spent over £100 and have not received most of the plants. The plugs we received were rubbish, and they keep moving the date for the arrival of the other plants. You cannot get in touch with them at all, but we will definitely keep pursuing the refund. This review clearly fits in with all the other reviews on this site!!!! I just wish I had read them before.

Waited over three weeks for my order. One of two packages arrived yesterday, where the second is I have no idea. Hanging Baskets were so poorly packed, plants were damaged and beyond saving, looks like they'd had a close encounter with a strimmer! Pots were not upright, compost was in bottom of the box - what was left of it as the box was so damaged the compost had fallen out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, no response except auto-reply email, but this is never followed up, no phone that works. Total waste of money. Now trying to get my money back through my credit card company.

Ordered 3 lots of nasturtium seeds beginning of April which came to £10. I know it is not a big order but they were quick enough to take the money out of my account as it came off the next day. I am still waiting for my order to arrive!! Have e-mailed them twice and got nowhere! I have also tried to get them on the phone with no success. What annoys me is that they have had my money for 7 weeks now and I have no goods in exchange. This is no way to run a business and I feel I have been conned. My advice to anyone who is thinking of ordering from them is to stay clear.

My 'plug' plants arrived today. So disappointed. How can they call them plug plants? I am used to something around 2 in in size. These were 1 CM !!! Half dead - bean in post for 5 days. They have moved delivery of rest of order from 2 June to 9 July. Totally unacceptable. I shall be asking for a full refund. If they don't respond I shall claim through PayPal. Anyone who paid that way should do the same. Such a contrast to the well packaged plants I received from Crocus.

Very poor quality plants, most died, have emailed twice, no reply, tried to cancel rest of order but no reply from phones or emails, absolute rubbish.

There is no customer service at Thomson and Morgan at present. They have stopped receiving phone calls. Emails of complaint receive a reply saying they are very busy and don't email them again. Plug plants, which are little bigger than seedlings, were ordered in mid March and still not arrived.Checking status on line numerous times just states "short dalays , 14 days delays" etc. Too late in season now if these plants ever arrive. I am bombarded with other offers but would never use them again.They shoulld not be accepting money and orders if they cannot fulfil them.

Do not order plants from this company They spend days in the post and are either dead or dying by the time you get them!

Do not use at all. The plants are miniscule and half dead. They have appalling customer service. They do not refund or answer emails. The phone number is a dud.

Have to say that after 4 days of trying to place an order by phone because I was scammed a few years ago, so am wary of ordering online. Surely someone can take phone orders! What about people who don,t have computers? if I do finally get through there,ll be nothing left.

I received the wrong order the plants were of very poor quality, one has since died, and the customer service is awful.

DO NOT BUY from this company! If you do, you’ll be very sorry. Check their Facebook Visitor Posts. So many unhappy customers including myself. My own personal experience is of shockingly poor plants being delivered. I ordered four plants. One arrived half dead, with dry soil and curled leaves. It was never going to survive. Nothing like the glorious specimen as advertised on their website. Another plant so tiny it wasn’t worth the money paid. I did not want to receive the other two due To arrive imminently. It took one month for Customer Service to contact me. No response to e-mails apart from automated responses. So frustrating. Eventually some member of staff responded on the Facebook messaging system. I cancelled my order. They refunded one plant that was due in a few months time but couldn’t cancel the other due in 10 days! I had to catch the delivery driver and refuse delivery. The delivery driver would not get paid. I felt so guilty. It was not my fault. It was Thompson and Morgan’s fault. I had paid approximately £80. I still do not have my full refund two months on. Like many customers, I feel robbed and duped. Trying to get a refund is like trying to get blood out of a stone. The Customer Service is abysmal. This company really does not care about its customers. It just wants your money. BUYERS BEWARE!

I ordered plants and compost to the value of £106 in March and truly wish that I had not bothered. The plants that have arrived so far have either been dead or so badly damaged that most had no chance of survival. It has been a bitterly disappointing experience and I will never, ever deal with this company again. Avoid at all costs. The phone lines are always going to be "back on in a few days" Rubbish!!

This is a review i put on trust pilot, if you look at their reviews on Feefo on their own website makes them look wonderful, if you look here or on other websites the truth comes out, the fact is that they are taking peoples money and not delivering on the product and then making excuses , the reality is that they have closed their customer phone lines and hiding behind emails and with their slow response hoping people will just go away, its simple they just cant cope with demand in these difficult times and just sending out any old rubbish plants, i received only half of my order yesterday , been poorly packaged basically just put in a box with no packaging and arrived a week later resulting in fairly dead plants, the sort that you see in garden centre clearance for 50p , think the is a bit of a trend with these reviews, just received an order which was ordered at the end of of March , they obviously can’t cope with demand , of the 20 plants I ordered I received 9 in almost dead condition been in a box for a least a week another 1 was just a plastic pot with soil in it , the other 10 still awol ,there happy to take your money but not deliver on the quality plants promised and I quote ‘you won’t be disappointed ‘ won’t be using them again! , I know we are in difficult times but other plant suppliers are coping ,

This is my 2nd review and it's only fair I give an honest review now my plants have arrived. I recieved an e-mail yesterday to say they had been dispatched and then an e-mail this morning to say they will be delivered today between 8am and 12pm. The plants arrived approx 11am in good condition, the soil still moist. I would have given 5 stars but for the lack of communication and the fact they were still taking orders when they were obviously struggling. Very pleased with my plants

Only received 2 items from order, all the others missing with no explanation as to where the other items were. The two plants that arrived were in terrible condition with one being broken. I would never had ordered from this firm but I am shielding so cannot get out to a garden centre to buy any. Absolutely appalling service, this company should be ashamed of itself.
