On reading customer's complaints I don't think I have buckleys chance of hearing from them. I look at my pathetic and meager £64.00's worth of plants and could cry. They are taking a lot of nurturing. This was meant to be my summer treat what a disappointment. I've never ordered plants on line before and never will again. Total rip off.

Have ordered with Tompson & Morgan many times, generally no issues, delivered as promised. Didn't expect a lot during lockdown, however, delivered as promised. Very responsive customer service. Any problem resolved efficiently. When I had them, the company resolved them quickly offering refund or resending the plants when available.

Order placed and paid for on April 27th. After payment made and cashed on that day I received an e-mail stating the plant order would be delivered at end of July and a cloche with extra parts would be delivered by September!! One little box of broken begonia plants arrived but remaining order is still outstanding. On June 10th I asked for plant order to be cancelled, that hasn't happened, money has not been refunded! Still the 'amazing' adverts appear almost daily!! I have pics but can't get them uploaded.

Ordered begonia plants, months later they arrived, or what was left of them. Withered plants, snapped stalks, out of a tray of 24 I have managed to save 3. But they are so poor I doubt if they will grow. Sent an email complaining, no reply! I know it has been a difficult year for everyone, but they are very happy to take your money and deliver very inferior goods. DO NOT BUY FROM T&M.

Diabolical. Customer services a complete waste of time.Still waiting for completion of my order for April we are now in July .Gave a negative review elsewhere and was contacted by a customer services person named Charles offering apologies and action within 48 hours. That was 5 days ago.My order has come in ridiculous dribs and drabs.I would avoid at all costs and advise anyone else to do the same.

We have used this company in the past and have been disappointed, however because of being one of the very vulnerable I have not left our house so thought things could only have got better from the last order a few years ago. However how wrong could you be, out posti plants were barely two leaves so we only managed to nurture about a third of them. The next and what we thought was our last plants came bizzy lizzys there were tree empty cells and several of the plants looking worse for their journey and to our dismay our other 120 plants have not arrived they are supposed to have arrived with the courier five days ago but have sat in the depot during the hottest days of this year,so I don't have any great hopes of what we should!!!!! Receive. Please please avoid this company they did not deserve the second chance. We did try to call the company but no go.

Received part of my order on Friday. The French Marigolds are an absolute disgrace. The stems were all broken and all that is left are roots which will hardly grow again before autumn removal. There are still petunias and dalihas plants to come as part of my order but I have negative feelings that these plants will be any better. I ordered these plants on line to help in some way to support the gardening industry but you can rest assured that I will never buy from this company again.

I placed an order for a shrub plant at a cost of nearly £50.00. Although it was show as a stock item it has taken months to receive it. Finally turned sup today. What a disappointment; the plant is wilting, leaves lost and parts are already dead. It looks . not just neglected but diseased. Contact from the company takes days and the service I have received does not even warrant 1 star. I would not recommend this online service to any serious gardener or anyone who loves plants. If there was an organisation for the prevention of cruelty to Plants I would report them. I shall avoid in the future.

I have only put one star because I had to put at least one to access this review page, you don't even deserve the one. I got all sorts of conflicting emails regarding dispatch, when 2 parcels arrived they were both squashed. This was only one third of my order, the plants themselves were deplorable. The three Begonias were rotten at the stems only fit for the compost heap, the two Helenium are now in intensive care, but have less than 40% chance of survival. Contact by telephone is impossible as they say "that they are too busy" so they have just turned them off. Emails are the only way customers can try to contact them. The bulk of my order is still outstanding, but because of the quality of what has arrived I don't want it now. I spent £63.95 and demand a full refund in the next 10 days or I will be going through the small claims court.

Terrible service. They take your money quick enough, and when after 2.½ months they cancel 2/3rds of your order, you can’t get back all the money you are owed. Avoid this firm at any price.

I have spent over £180 with them due to self isolating and have had numerous problems with them. Even today checking one of my orders which should have arrived weeks ago they have changed the delivery date to the end of July the summer will be virtually over. They did refund for Busy Lizzy plugs which were dead on arrival. They should not take on orders they cannot cope with.

I am only giving one star because it won't give me the option of none. I ordered begonias for my elderly parents back on the 27th April!! as they couldn't get out - they are in their 80's. I am still waiting for the plants. Original despatch date given was 'Before July' but I risked it. When I checked 3 weeks ago the delivery dates were 25th June and 9th July. I send an email (their phones are off can you believe that!) No response at all even after 3 weeks. Now the dates are showing delayed for another 14 days. Well the bedding plant season will be over. I have sent another email but I do not expect a reply. Disgusting company, disgusting service (and now having read old reviews, it seems Covid has nothing to do with this, they have always been bad). They are an absolute disgrace DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. They should not be in business and I think of other decent businesses that have probably gone under during this time and these scammers are still in business!

Spent £80, mainly for my elderly mother. Plants were in terrible state.. already dying having been inadequately packed. Some packs arrived with liquid leaking out as plants were rotting. No response to emails or just spoof fake queries to delay. Took photos all along which I am ready to submit to. The Small Claims Court online if I don’t get a response in next 10 working days. Sarah Raven plants ordered at same time were beautiful.

My plug plants arrived very wilted and 25% of them were already dead. I tried to revive the remainder but most were too far gone. Fewer than 40 of the 144 delivered have survived. Customer service is non existent, they wont accept phone calls and ignore emails. Avoid this company at all costs.

Shocking service ordered plants I expected them late but after 5 weeks had to email them to be told not to email plants are coming same again 2 weeks later now this morning they tell me I won’t be getting them due to stock shortage yet they have still advertised them for order all this time not impressed won’t use again

Plants arrived bone dry, half dead and far smaller than advertised. I have never ever seen so may plants arrive is such small condition. Within 2 days over 60% had died. I was able to bring the others back to some form of life and, over 6 weeks since delivery, have been "rewarded" with about 20 Busy Lizzies that are, at most, one inch across. It will be autumn frosts before they have reached maturity. And don't get me started on the state of the Begonias! I will never use this company again. They do not deserve to stay in business.
