Horrible customer service! Do not answer emails & takes over 30 min to answer phone. STAY AWAY from this mismanaged MESS of fools. Back to Ol' reliable Famous SmokeIndio

New owners. C I, & customer service is WAY lacking. Sold me cigars not on stock, never notified. Had to go on line to see never sent. Then sending me replacement for pilfered UPS pkg. Lost! I called again(20min to answer everytime), sent another & found it charged on my card! Adios TC !!!!!

Been a customer for over 15 years..this company must have been sold to another one..Customer service is terrible..now it seems the good cigars are always on back order..been waiting for months on 1 partial order and now almost 2 months on my last order..They even outsourced their customer service to save money..can t understand most of what they say...Guess ITS TIME FOR FAMOUS CIGARS

“Having spent 58 years making Thompson Cigar one of the most respected mail order cigar businesses in the country, it is now time to hand over the reins to a new owner that can continue to serve the long-term interest of the company,” Bob Franzblau, CEO of Thompson. A a private, family-owned business, founded in 1915 and claims to be the oldest mail-order cigar company in the U.S. sold out to Scandavanian Tobacco Group (STG) for $62 million. Customer service, Delivery of improper products and no delivery of product. Sent several inquiries by e-mail with attachments, and my contact information with no response concerning wrong product delivered and now no delivery of product ordered. Several attempts contacting customer "care" by phone were met with 30 minutes of recorded music, interrupted only by a recording stating the volume of calls are higher than expected and repetitive suggestions to get assistance from website instead. No customer service personal connection, no call back number offerd. What was once a family owned business with their customers satisfaction a matter of importance, has fallen to the recurring curse as newer generations take ownership. What was important to their grandparents and parents was PRIDE in their accomplishments. Has easily been replaced by them as PRICE. Another heritage sold for paper.

BUYER BEWARE Thompson Cigar double charged my bank for one order of cigars. When I called customer service to have them release the second hold, I got the run around. Now after reading the reviews I'm scared that this birthday gift I order will not arrive and/or the quality will be substandard.

Like many others. I paid extra for faster shipping to find out later it was shipped on the slow boat. Never did receive my order. The last three orders from Thompson have been nightmares. STAY AWAY FROM THOMPSON CUGARS!!!!!!!

Their shipping is at snail-speed! By the time you get your cigars, they are dry and need to sit in the humidor for a good length of time before they are ready. They use the cheapest method of shipping. JR cigar shop is better when it comes to getting your cigars quicker.

thus company is a joke. I paid for 2 day shipping and they shipped it normally and received it 10 days after it shipped. Thompson would not reimburse my expense for 2 day shipping I paid for and only offered a $10 coupon. This company is a joke and would NOT recommend them,

I ordered an Oliva sampler, they sent the wrong cigars. I asked for help they did not respond. They do not care for their customers, find a company that does. Good Luck.

I ordered 5 pack of oliva melanio robusto got a 5 pack of menace asylum cant get a hold of customer service sent multiple emails with no response very bad business wouldn't recommend spending money with them there is alot better companies that handle problems immediately

twice sent the wrong item. had issues in the past on other related transactions. filed a dispute with pay pal claimed they received the return and assured me of a refund in 10 days NONE

Their prices are ok but, they always ship the wrong product. When you try to reach customer service, they don't answer their phone nor their emails. They aren't there to ship you great product, they are there to take your great hard earned money and don't care about you.

I signed up as a first time customer to receive 15% off that they offer. They offer it but don't give it - Emailed 3 times with no response. I gave up, won't order from them anymore. I just unsubscribed them.

An order did not make it to me due to a Postal Service error. I've called and emailed customer service 6 times now and no response and no credit back on my account. I understand the Coronavirus is impacting everything, but come on, almost a month now and no response from them. Time to get the Florida Attorney General consumer protection people involved. Too bad it came to this. I had no problem until now and they are as bad as the other reviews state. Get my money back and take my business elsewhere.

My father-in-law placed an order last April, 2019, sent a cashiers check, which was cashed, but never received his order. Tried calling their customer service line for a month or more, but they never answered. Several emails sent, but no response. Do not trust them.

This is a comment on my present order TC002141958 of partagas icon. I enjoy the cigars but this order was place on May 30th, shipping label for USPS produced on May 31st, Money taken from my PayPal account May 31st. There was NO movement on my order for 5 working days. There have been only 3 updates since my order was shipped. USPS still does not have my order. Awaiting order in Morrow, GA for 4 days. I could walk to PA in four days. Customer service in no help...Called them and all they could tell me was my shipping tracking number has not been updated after four days. Told me may take 5-10 working days for shipping. 10 working days are up and USPS still waiting on order. This is unacceptable service COVID 19 or not. Get your act together. I will be reversing my PayPal charges if not received by Monday June 15th. You need to have Customer Service open for at least part of the weekend.

They will automatically sign you up for monthly memebership thats cost 14.95 a month. Beware.
