“I needed to replace half the balustrades on an external balcony built 35 years ago. The same dimension timber was no longer available at regular suppliers. I emailed five suppliers and only two responded and only Thor's Hammer could do the job. Thor's Hammer responded promptly and provided the finished product precisely as required along with the necessary bevels etc using recycled timber - which was great. They were polite, responsive and delivered quickly. The cost seemed relatively high compared say to Bunnings, but within what I was expecting anyway, so I think quite reasonable. I'm very pleased with the result and would recommend Thor's hammer.”

“Lovely job, other than high gloss over satin would have been preferable for us, but it is not offered. Further, we were offered instructions for installing the shelves when we elected to self install; however none were forthcoming. We would have been fine with no instruction, but a little odd to offer and then forget to provide the paperwork. The timnber however is gorgeous and service people very personable.”

“Would have liked a bit more involvement during the construction process (eg pre-delivery inspection) - while the table I got was close to perfect, a couple of small niggles still annoy me. Delivery was terrible - very expensive and poorly communicated”

“I recently commissioned a slightly unusual extendable dining table in recycled brush box, from Thor. I've had it for several weeks now and am absolutely delighted with it; I feel it goes beyond the realm of artisanship and practicality, and into the realm of art. The design process was co-operative, and made very easy for me; there was a very minor imperfection in the initial completed result, which indeed he noticed, pointed out to me, and insisted on rectifying, despite the extra time and effort involved for him. I found him and his staff always very pleasant and helpful to deal with; he has my highest recommendation!”
