I bought a ticket for an event, and when i got there the ticket had already been used. Same thing happened to another person in the queue behind me who had bought from the same reseller. Despite providing the ancillary evidence they requested, they have sided with the fraudulent seller, so I am now having to go through a credit card chargeback. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Very unprofessional experience as a seller on TicketSwap. I was never contacted during a dispute and the case was decided only based on the buyer’s word, without any proof that the ticket worked or not. Because the buyer didn’t return the ticket, I also lost the chance to use it myself. On top of that, while the dispute was still open, the buyer’s money was transferred to me without my consent, and afterwards I was harassed and even threatened with a debt collection agency to return it. This process feels like a scam against sellers. No protection, no fair resolution, and a completely one-sided approach. Be careful if you plan to sell tickets here!

I purchased a Boardmasters Festival 2025 ticket through TicketSwap and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The listing prominently showed Aug 8–12, but the ticket is actually valid 6–10 August and is in another person’s name. These are material details that would affect any reasonable buyer’s decision. I raised my concerns with TicketSwap immediately, well before the event, and requested a refund. They refused, claimed the ticket was “listed correctly,” and released payment to the seller. This completely ignores their own Trust & Safety Policy requiring accurate and transparent listings. TicketSwap markets itself as a safe place to buy tickets, but in my case there has been no meaningful buyer protection. If the ticket fails at the gate, I will be left out of pocket and my son will be turned away from the festival. Their so‑called “verification” clearly isn’t bulletproof. This experience has cost me time, stress, and money. I will not be using TicketSwap again and would advise others to think twice before relying on their promises of safe and verified tickets.

Awful customer service. I sold two tickets, one of which was then resold again and because of this, they’ve declined to pay me. My affiliation with the ticket ended after I sold it, but now I’m out of pocket - may as well just have it away! They’re impossible to contact, no info and despite a formal complaint and multiple messages, I still don’t have my money. AVOID

TicketSwap closed my dispute without resolution after their platform sold me an invalid ticket. Despite providing evidence and their own admission they couldn't verify the ticket beforehand, they refuse refunds without 'scanner photos' - impossible to take when you're alone being asked to leave. This is systematic fraud protection failure, not customer service.

What a relief! The entire withdrawal process was smooth from start to finish. Mrs. Mercy’s team truly knows what they’re doing—very grateful.

i sold a ticket on ticketswap about 4 months ago. the ticket was for a festival where the main artist couldn't go and ticketswap got a lawyer to force me to return the money for the ticket because the person i sold it to didn't want to go. i repeat, i received a letter at home from a lawyer threatening me with going to court after i sold a legitimate ticket. i'm not obliged to return the money when i didn't go to the festival and the ticket was legit.

I posted a ticket on ticketswap for a concert which was on 18th of November. There was a buyer. But I talked to support and asked to cancel the operation. So I received an email that the sale was reversed and I have never received the money. The email clearly told that 'THE SALE IS CANCELLED'. Nothing else, no risks were implied in that email! When I came to the concert - I wasn't able to enter because my ticket was already validated. I assume by the person who bought it.. for free. The doors were open at 18:30 and he entered at 18:34. The buyer visited a concert with my ticket and I have never received the payment. When I contacted the support - they told that cancelling operation means that I won't receive money but it does not guarantee that the buyer would not use the ticket. WTF? If I knew about risks - I wouldn't cancel the operation. The email I received about operation being cancelled did not imply anything about the risks. And now support doesn't want to contact the buyer and tells that it's my problem. My problem that they gave my ticket for free to someone!

Terrible service. Used ticket swap twice: once to buy tickets which were bought by four other people for an event. Then, to sell one ticket which the buyer also claims not have been able to get into the event. Theres clearly a fault in the system but I had to refund the ticket... Ticketswap were really unhelpful in resolving this. I had follow up emails threatening that I would have to pay extra charges if I didn't refund the ticket. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE

They advertise secure ticket selling and buying, but dont trust them. I bought tickets which at event I couldnt use and asked for help in app. But ticketswap service just answered that there is not enought proof of that and closed conversation. That is it. There is no point to pay them comission because it is not more secure than buying tickets anywhere else where no commission is added.

I had a frustrating experience with TicketSwap. They promised the buyer of my ticket a refund due to a listing error, but they failed to notify me of the issue in a timely manner, leaving me with no chance to resolve it. Despite their awareness of the problem, they waited weeks after the event to inform me, then demanded I repay the money. This lack of communication and responsibility on their part is completely unacceptable.

Ticketswap team, At your website you claim that your platform prevents fraud. However after a week of absolutely poor support to resolve my case after reselling me fraud ticket I’m about to say that it is a false advertising and doesn’t meet the reality. Support team is total disaster with no help at all so I’m going to police to claim Ticketswap as a false advertisers supporting fraud.

I am SO disappointed with TicketSwap. I am fully behind the anti-scalping movement, however surely a price cap should apply on both ends, i.e. a minimum AND a maximum. In order to sell my ticket, I had to reduce the price by AUD$130 for each ticket (I was selling 2). I thought a FAIR ticket exchange would involve the tickets being sold at the same price they were purchased for, or perhaps slightly lower or higher, with a cap. TicketSwap favours the buyer to such a degree that the seller misses out and is undercut significantly, losing money in a sale. If I didn't undercut other sellers, it is unlikely the tickets would have sold. I don't understand how this is justifiable or equal? I was FORCED to use TicketSwap by the seller (Eventix), however if I had a choice, I wouldn't use it again.

Getting to support is basically impossible when problem occurs. Bought invalid ticket although it was supposed to be checked by TicketSwap. They promised refund, but never received money back. Waste of money.
