Als de verkoper de verkoop later annuleert sta je bij de ingang voor niets want je kaartje doet het niet. TicketSwap zeg dan dat je er met de verkopen de partij uit moet komen. Verkoper zegt dan van niets te weten natuurlijk. TicketSwap zegt dan verder niets te kunnen doen en sluit de conversatie. zo wordt een avond die heel mooi had moeten worden verpest en ben je ook nog je geld kwijt. Dus echt nooit aan beginnen!!

“i sold a ticket through the platform in november, having passed all the verifications
4 days before the event (mid june) they started extorting the money on the grounds that it was personalized, having my name on it
i contacted the official seller right away, and they replied no id was necessary, only the zip code, and if i wanted to i could change the name in my profile
i replied to ticketswap immediately, but they stayed silent until after the concert, keeping extorting the money
ALTHOUGH their terms clearly state they were supposed to injtiate a chat with the buyer to settle the matter, which they never did
i am pretty sure the girl attended the concert and they just want to get some money for. themselves

“My worst worries came true - TicketSwap stole my tickets worth 200€.
I uploaded them for sale 1 day before the event, both were accepted. In the morning of the day of the event, I decreased the price. One hour later, TicketSwap e-mails me saying that the tickets are not valid. I did not use or share the tickets with anyone.
The only entity I shared the tickets with was TicketSwap. Now I am left without the tickets, unable to sell them or attend the event.
Customer service totally unreachable.

“TERRIBLE! My boyfriend bought a ticket to GreenDay in Milan and all his friends were able to enter but him. It said that his ticket was cloned, someone has already used it to go in. “Avoid using this platform at all costs
Avoid using this platform at all costs. They have taken my money but only 2 of the 3 tickets were useable. This was the first time I used the platform and I bought 3 tickets for a gig in London. When we arrived at the venue, one of the tickets did not come through correctly on their app, just some words on a blank white page. It was a complete nightmare as you have no way of contacting them for any urgent support. Approx 4 days minimum for them to respond that’s after you have navigated beyond their AI bot that’s completely useless. Luckily we managed to buy a ticket from a street tout outside. After 2 weeks of trying to get a refund, they were not willing to listen to my issue and have closed my claim. It was only a £25 refund as the other 2 tickets were fine. It is the principle that they took my money and didn’t provide the ticket. With the extra £40 I had to pay on the night for the replacement ticket, the least they could have done was refund the £25. I will never use TicketSwap again and advise everyone to use alternative ticket providers, they should not be allowed to get away with this poor service. Shame on you TicketSwap.”

Platform is written by incompetent people who have no idea how to program anything.
Apparently, their platform knows better what my bank account is than me and the bank I registered it to. It does not allow me to sell tickets in the currency of my bank account, as it tells me that "it is not on this currency.".
The IBAN check they use is complete garbage. This whole platform is probably written by interns who have no skill whatsoever.
Here is an example error message you will get while trying to stay sane using this monstrosity:
"Your bank currently doesn't support BGN. Change the currency to EUR or use a different bank account."
You should definitely fire the person who programmed this check, because my bank account is in BGN, and you are trying to make me switch to a currency (EUR) which will be used to convert to BGN and charge me more fees during the transaction.
How is this okay? How are these checks made? What is wrong with your finance and engineering team? How are you even allowed to operate in my country? I will tell you - Americans should not be allowed to operate in Europe. You people ruin everything for everybody in the world.

Learn what multi-currency IBAN is before dipping your incompetent toes in payment systems. Your engineering team is shameful. They should all be fired immediately.”

Unfortunately was requested a refund. Was told by TicketSwap it would be 5 days. It’s now been 10 and communication has stopped they will not respond to any tweets (only form of communication 🤷♀️) has done a claims letter awaiting response but please do not use. These are a FRAUDULENT company”
“terrible service!! i bought a ticket and realised it would not be valid as this specific venue gives you a link to a digital QR code 24-48 hours before the gig. I asked ticketswap to help, literally providing evidence from the event venue website that the ticket would not be sufficient. they told me everything was fine and not to worry (making me feel crazy for even asking) at the event i was right and the ticket would not work, we were lucky with the staff at the roundhouse and managed to get in but she advised us that ticketswap is dodgy and not to use them. after this i would never use ticketswap again and advise anyone i know not to.”
