“Having the same “no shipment” issue. No update for ~2 weeks after the order. They’ve never responded to my inquiry. Terrible company.”

“Ordered with estimated delivery on Dec 21. Can't fulfill an order. Ordered on Dec 7. Now Dec 21. No shipment, no estimated shipment date and no reliable information about this shipment. UPDATE: Order status suddenly appeared and sake was delivered within 24 hours. I don’t know if it was in transit for 2 weeks or if the order was expedited after my complaint. Given that this order was for a Christmas present, it was upsetting that I had no information about whether it would be here in time or not. I’m glad it was delivered in time. I would give them more stars if not for their lack of status updates, which they seem trying to resolve.”

“Tippsy Sake delivers Sake's that you cannot find in any local super market. The qualities of the sakes are superb! Trying out the various sakes has been a very fun experience for my husband and I, and it makes for a great date night at home. We talk about the flavor profiles and what ones we like best and will buy for later use. I have always had great customer service with any issues or questions I have had, I only had one issue and it was handled on the spot. We will continue with Tippsy for many years!”

“Hello Tippsy, Thank you I got the sake as a Christmas gift to my brother and sister in law. They really enjoyed the sake and the sake set. I’m happy they are happy with it. “Online purchase experience was great. Shipping was fast. However, I was surprised and a little disappointed that shipping doesn't include any dry ice or ice packs. For high end sake like the Iwa, they should really be shipped with some kind of temperature control mechanism to ensure the quality is preserved. I would definitely not consider shipping a bottle of Komyo or Zankyo with this method of shipping.”

“I was looking for a specific sake that I couldn't find anywhere in a local store. I came across Tippsy when searching online and they had it in stock! I loved the emails and text messages that I received letting me know the status of my order, when it shipped and when it arrived. The bottles were packed extremely well to ensure nothing would break during shipping. Overall I am very pleased and will order from Tippsy again. I already recommended them to all of my friends!”

“Tippsy's combination of curation and enthusiasm for the art of sake brewing makes both shopping and buying from them a pleasure. Extensive notes on each bottle and well-written product descriptions make this marketing person very happy, but not as happy as pouring one of their junmais.”
