“what a great experience! We had such a fantastic time experiencing what Egypt has to offer. The trip was very well organised and we felt safe and cared for the entire time - even after our bags were lost on route - never fly turkish airlines they are the worst! We had the best tour guide - Alaa thank you so much for your expert guidance through the ancient and modern wonders of Egypt. We took full advantage of his masters in Egyptology and he was more than happy to answer all our questions and more. We can't thank you enough for making our trip so amazing! Your knowledge and experience was incredible and we felt incredibly lucky to be under your expertise. the trip was well priced and paced. it was great to kick back on the cruise - lying on the top deck by the pool, watching the landscape of the nile change. We made it to the major historical sites down the nile and the logistics were very flexible to suit our plans. overall it was a great experience and we look forward to returning - particularly to upper Egypt. “WHEN I BOOKED THE AMOUNT WAS BLOCKED IMMEDIATLY ON MY CREDIT CARD BUT IT TOOK 7 !! DAYS UNTIL I FINALLY GOT THE CONFIRMATION. THE NEXT TIME I WILL BOOK MYSELF - THE HOTELS WERE BOOKABLE ON BOOKING.COM”

“My first encounter was with Elle, who was very cordial and patient with me throughout the booking process. She was a delight to work with. After that, I was told to wait 3-4 days to get confirmation on the reservation. In actuality, it was 7 days and required me to contact TourRadar to find out that I had been confirmed. Was not pleased. I had been waiting for confirmation in order to book flights and did not appreciate any delay in response. Otherwise, my experience was okay.”

We always advise passengers that it can sometimes take longer than this to receive confirmation and will always be sure to follow up accordingly when we experience longer-than-usual confirmation times. It is important for passengers to note that the days outlined are 'business' days - most operators and their operations teams (who are in charge of tour confirmations) are closed through the weekend. Based on the notes on your file, we can see that our agents checked the status of your request every day until the weekend. Then, on the 4th business day, on Monday, we received confirmation from your operator and sent you a confirmation email. We hope that this response provides clarity surrounding 'on request' tours and useful information for how operators' business hours affect how quickly they are able to secure your space. “I have dealt with different agents: they are ALL very professional, courteous and desirous to help. The response is quick and frankly so far I have never had a negative feeling about my experience with any of them!
