I like that there are a ton of similar trips "under one roof" but finding multi-location trips can be tricky, and my discount code wouldn't work - the transaction errored the first time, and then it said that the code had already been used. I had to do the online chat to get the transaction through.

Having choice consolidated is very useful; however, not having a guarantee that a listed tour will run is not helpful when planning needs this assurance.

Due to the huge range of tour styles and their related requirements for operation (dictated by the tour operator themselves), it's difficult to consistently display this information across our site. We can, however, always tell you if a specific tour is guaranteed to depart - just send us a message or give us a call and we'll be more than happy to confirm the status of the tour departure date. An increase in the booking price prior to attempting to secure confirmation was not really acceptable

We understand that you were not happy with the price changes, however, this was due to a Canadian tax that is applicable to all tours that are operated within Canada. The TourRadar site does not automatically calculate this tax as the amount is determined by the tour operated at the time of booking. I can see that our team did reach out to you before confirming the tour to advise on the 5% tax and to ensure that you approved this prior to confirmation. If at any time a price difference arises from the tour operator we will always advise our clients prior to processing any payment to ensure our clients are aware of the reason for any rate changes. If you have any questions, simply let us know in writing in your booking conversation or get in touch with our 24\/7 customer support team and we'll be happy to take care of the rest. Their prices are good but they're asking me to submit a picture of my driver's license and credit to verify that the credit card used is actually mine because "the credit card used to pay for this booking does not correspond with any details of the passengers travelling on the tour" which is absolutely not true(my passenger details match my credit card details exactly). I like the prices but not sure I'd book with TourRadar again just to avoid going through this hassle again.

You are absolutely correct, that under some rare circumstances where payment details are not aligned with the passenger details, we request payment authorisation which is a measure simply to protect the card-holder's funds. The tour of 3 days in Iceland it’s pricey and sincerely it didn’t actually fulfill my expectations. You can do it all by yourself, spend less and don’t have to stand for such a terrible tour guide. Good luck!

Customer support is excellent but email notification is useless. I sent replies and updated my information on the website but still receive annoying notifications asking me to fill out information already provided. It is only about 5 weeks to go and I'm afraid I cannot get the trip voucher in time. I never had this bad experience with other tour providers. Imagine people who do not use the computer. How can they get things done? I urge you to take immediate action to complete my booking. All monies were paid a few weeks ago and still not final???

The tour I selected ended up sucking. I had made a far better touring agenda for the couple days before the tour began. So I'm not sure if the site didn't describe the tour well or what.

Though we have made a booking, we have not yet even received any paperwork or vouchers, have not yet undertaken the tour and so prefer to write a review when we have something structural to submit. We will be happy to complete a review after the event.

They were very good answering my questions until I finally booked then it was very difficult to get the answer I wanted out of them. One person told me I would get that answer when I booked but I had already booked. Ended up by not getting the answer I wanted from them for 4 days by that time the flight I wanted was fully booked and I had to pay £100 more. The flight I could get was for the following day and had to pay for an extra night in a hotel in Myanmar. Would help if you had a dedicated assistant.

I found it a little annoying being called directly after I reserved a spot (48 hours), and then being emailed (even after officially booking) and not knowing that I had already booked. I was then asked "with who did I book?"...... Made it seem unorganized.

While we here at TourRadar have no control over what additional charges your bank makes, we are able to request with our Finance team to assist in this. As I'm sure you can appreciate we cannot impact what charges your bank makes, however we do reccommend you speak to them directly to query this charge to avoid any other undue charges in future!
