I'm 'technologically challenged' so I had a bit of a learning curve. I was having some difficulty this morning (12/27) trying to make sense of the material that I had received. So I asked for some help and was glad to find out that it wasn't just my technological ineptitude. TourRadar had forgotten to send the Vouchers! When the Vouchers arrived everything began to make sense.

Hi Peter, Thanks for your review - We are very glad to hear that you now have your vouchers and the information contained within them is helpful! Normally, vouchers must be manually generated by your tour operator and do not get sent until approximately 2-3 weeks prior to departure. Vouchers are withheld until closer to departure in case of any last-minute changes to your accommodation or itinerary. Depending on when you book, this means it could be months until you receive your vouchers. Your operator, however, was able to provide your voucher shortly after your booking was confirmed as you are just a few weeks from departing. Should you need anything else from now until you leave for your trip, please do not hesitate to let us or your operator know; we are available 24/7 and always happy to help! The booking process is simple. But yes there is always a but.. I wanted to see if si gle supplment was available and how much it would cost. Sometimes I had to start the booking process to get the information, I also had to message some tour operators for the details as they were not on the booking page. Once you have entered into the booking process even though just out on price discovery, you get bombarded with e-mails "are you still interested in xyz trip". More details upfront please

Concerning single supplement pricing, this is available in the 'Book Now' page for any selected departure date. While most tour operators are responsible for inputting this information, there are certain factors such as limited availability and approximate costs that directly influence whether the pricing is displayed on the 'Book Now' page. Generally speaking, tour operators who have mandatory single supplements will make it known in the ‘Book Now’ page whether there’s a cost for solo travellers. We regret to hear that you have been bombarded with emails from us as this was never our intention. As travellers may sometimes mistakenly navigate from their ‘Book Now’ page, this does provide them with the opportunity to pick up where they last left off before submitting their booking. Everything seemed OK but they asked for a promo code and when I went to the chat site they said there wasn't one so I don't know if I received any discount

We had a look at your booking and can see that the tour operator had an amazing sale running during the time you booked, and we can happily confirm this discount was applied to your total at the time of booking. From our understanding, you selected the ‘Apply Promo Code’ option on the booking page at the time of booking, meaning you would not have been able to submit your booking without entering a code. Any booking can be made without a promo code, however, so unselecting this option allowed us to move forward with your booking, as there were no valid promotions at the time. The booking itself was actually as expected but after we had booked (and been approved since we are over age limit), it took four days to be "confirmed." That meant we didn't want to book flights until confirmed. This makes it extremely awkward to book a trip when it has to be strung out over a number of days.

I booked a trip to Bhutan last minute via tourradar, just one week before the trip commenced. Support from tourradar (and the travel agency) was excellent. All worked out nicely and I enjoyed an awesome trip!

Great variety of tours, duration, cost, and providers. A very good search engine and tour descriptions provide detailed information on activities, route, inclusions and exclusions. The booking process was quick and simple and the pay by instalments is also handy.
