“Been after a refund for over 3 months and got nowhere. Advised me they I won't get a full refund due an admin fee or something.
Travel Up say they can do this, so it seem I'm not getting all my money back and I'm angry they make more money cos of the virus. I've tried to argue now I'm ignored. Told to try to get Skyscanner involved as the flights were booked through their site. There are others online on a FB group that are customers complaints. Lost patience and cannot deal with these unhelpful people any more. Filled in a form at my credit card company. Cheap flights huh?”

Unhelpful and rude staff. Emails are bad. Bad english, wrong information, changed amounts owed. Asked help on FB a group is helping other customers for unfair fees.Didn't get all my money back and they won't budge. I won't deal with them again. They now stopped talking to me. Really bad. “Never again will I use this company for flights. Had nearly 4 months of ago in getting my refund. I still only have part of it as they decided to change conditions and charge £50 admin fee for cancellations due to COVID. Check the FB group with travelup customers for unfair fees. Closed lines, didn't answer emails and generally unhelpful and been lead on a wild goose chase!!! Unprofessional staff as phone put down on calls. Reported them to the authorities. Choose wisely before booking.”

I have been waiting for my refund for more than three months now without any results. Four weeks ago they made me me believe that I would get my refund in 3-5 working days. Still no money on my account. I have spoken to several people from their stuff strictly online because their lines are always off or no one is reachable. I believe I am contacting always with the same person under different fake contact names. Fake company Fake staff.

“If there was a 0 would use. Booked flights to Istanbul last year to fly out in April 20, due to Covid 19. BA cancelled the flight. So requested a refund. Paid £464.02 for flights and received £229.92
No explanation, why. I now understand they charge £75 per person admin fees, what for and 2% charge. Will now dispute .

“I am myself are angry but I feel sorry for everyone that has booked with TravelUp this year. They have been the worst out of all the travel companies. I booked my flight to Prague back in March for 03/04/20 and I only been refunded my ticket 14th June, only to find £80.03 missing from my refund, what an absolute joke. I've found out they've changed their terms and conditions mid lockdown, it's illegal to charge these fees and the fact they have done this and think they can get away with it.
Well I hope no one books with them in the future as their reputation is terrible now.”

“DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
Like many others we were drawn to TravelUp through a website comparing prices of different flights. TravelUp appeared to have lots of positive reviews and good prices so we booked our flights with them. I now note that most of the positive reviews include no description of the actual service provided by TravelUP.
Unfortunately, the flights were cancelled due to Covid-19. TravelUp did not inform us about this, we found out through the airline. Instead they closed their telephone lines and communicated poorly via email. Additionally, they changed their terms and conditions retrospectively to add an administration fee to process refunds.
Whilst I no have my refund (minus £50) I have learnt to always book direct via the airline or the hotel. By booking with travel agents such as TravelUP you face poor communication, poor service and theft via random administration fees.
Never again.”
“Appalling customer service, over inflated admin charges for a refund (50 pounds out of 400 originally paid). Tried on dozens occasions to contact by email and phone, waited until after the original departure date for the flights to start the process of getting a refund.”

“I have used Travelup on previous occasions without ant bother whatsoever in fact I was quite supportive of them HOWEVER my flight to Bangkok with QATAR airways was cancelled and Travelup have charged a whopping £80 admin fee for just 1 passenger, i have complained to them and am awaiting a response”
