Be careful horrible experience, worst travel booking ever., I had purchased two rooms for Dominican Republic, one for my family from USA and another for my family in Cuba which couldn't travel because their visa was denied, I called with enough time in advance to cancel one of the roomsthat cost me $2000 dollars, they doesn't discuss anything by phone, needs to be by email only and they even bother on called the hotel to upgrade the only room, cancel the room or postpone for a future date, once I called and the woman who answers from India or Pakistan who knows, hang up the phone on me. we end up loosing our money. Never use this company. We will never do it again. Worst ever.

I have never had to write a review before but watch out ever for this company. They took over 15 thousand of our money and then denied it received payment. We confirmed with our bank and they took our money. No tickets and no money and we are still arguing to get our money back. Worst experience ever. I would been better off buying the tickets from the Russian mob or from the markets of Lagos. Please be aware of vendors such as travel up especially if your a family which works to save their money for traveling

I have never felt the need to come and review a travel company before, but our experience with this company was appalling, and I wished we had known before using them. We booked our honeymoon tickets to America with them last year, and have just returned after a 4 week trip. We saved up and booked Upper Class tickets with Virgin as a real treat. Our flight out was fine, however when we came to check in at Las Vegas airport a couple of days ago we were informed that someone from Travel Up had applied for a refund on our tickets on 18th May - whilst we were on honeymoon. We obviously had not sanctioned this, we had no communication from Travel Up and there was no money refunded to my credit card. What made us even more suspicious was that my husband's ticket was refunded first at 9am UK time (1am in Las Vegas), and then 10 minutes later mine was refunded. We then spent a frantic hour trying to contact someone from Travel Up - all of the "emergency" numbers informed us they were closed and the number for the "duty manager" rang out. Eventually the Customer Services manager at Virgin found a random mobile number on the internet for "Ken" - who thankfully picked up. After a total of 3 hours of what should have been spent soaking up the last of our honeymoon in the lounge and within 10 minutes of check-in closing, Travel Up accepted culpability and Ken agreed to arrange for replacement tickets (for which we are grateful), however with no explanation of what had happened. It all just stinks of fraud, and the emergency contact protocols are not fit for purpose. We will never be using this company again, and have written to the CEO - awaiting his response - and will escalate to the ombudsman if needed.

Tried them twice as they always appear the cheapest. First booking made on Friday was cancelled on Monday because the flight price changed and they were not able to book it on Monday!? Alright, thought it could happen to everyone, 2 months later, another booking I made back in March for the trip in November was cancelled because as one of the agents from Indian call centre told me - the ticket was never issued - which is a lie, as I was able to order meals and choose a seat using airline website. Two months later, all my non refundable hotels go to waste.. Their call centre is terrible, whenever you call they have no idea what this is about, even if you call them few minutes later. Speaking with most of their agents is very hard as the quality of English is low, and additionally agents are like robots, talk over you, ignore all what you say.. Remember, you've been warned.

My 80 year old father typed in S instead of A on his surname - realizing to late - he called and emailed the same da, and was told £75 charge would be made (He called the Airline who do not charge for amendments - but they could not help as he went through Travel up). I emailed Director MR Shah - hoping on this occasion due to nature of error he may waive their charge. I was just quoted the TERMS ad Conditions. A Company that likes to line their pockets and not treat customers as individuals.

If any of you are considering using Travelup, my advice is dont! Having noticed a mistake on my booking, apparently my fault, I wrote asking for some specific changes, which they then charged me for, only to realise that they had totally ignored and not incorporated. On reporting the error, it was again, my fault, no money could be refunded and they expressed a basic unwillingness to help. Trust me, if you ever need to make a change to a flight, these guys will ream you, refund nothing, accept no responsibility and basically feed you a heap of B******t! I even spoke to the airline who told me they have had hundreds of complaints but were powerless to do anything, but strongly advised me to stay away in future. A bunch of sharks, and many other expletives I could use to describe.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

The worst travel company I ever dealt with. They intentionally misrepresent hotel rooms & service quality that they offer to customers - just to get the room sold in advance. When the truth comes out on a day of check in - nether upgrades nor reimbursements are possible. Not reasonable fees. Rude and impudent customer service. Will never use again. Zero rating.

I asked to change of my booking date and have an email reply from them that they will shortly answer to my require but they didn't answer me back quickly and said the date has passed so can't change it any more. It was return ticket so the returning ticket still remained to be changed. They didn't do the work and ignored my requests overtime I made. I asked complaints department contact detail but no answer back came. I tried to phone them with the phone number they showed on the website but it never worked. I had to fly away £695 in the air without travelling. I got the ticket through the web search. It is really disappointing that such this unreliable company do their business with other best companies.

The 3 stars is for Rhys who took ownership of my flight change and followed up to ensure it’s done. However Travelup lost two stars because I had to first inform them about the flight change, then follow up with them three times before I was put in touch with Rhys to resolve my issue.

AVOID. They quoted £900 for a date change on medical grounds when the BA charge was ZERO. I will NEVER use them or recommend them. If the change is for a return journey, BA suggests make the change at the time of check-in.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are scammers! Book a ticket through them and they misspell names on tickets which can't be changed! They make every excuse under the sun! Their words 'Your only option if you'd still like to take the flight is to purchase a new ticket!' BA and all associated with them should stop doing business with them!

Streamlined website, easy to use and understand. Nonetheless had an error in my reservation that Jake remedied quickly and easily. Customer service was great -- simple, transparent and very responsive. Will do future bookings with TravelUp!

I would definitely book with Travelup- their prices are very good and they keep you up to date with any flight changes and if they can will give you the option to change if the new flight time doesn't suit- I have used travelup before and would recommend

Neil Customer Services Travel up, is excellent,as we got flights shudle change in Dubai with long wait, I don't want take that chnage up kids, email to CSA, Neil deal it with and sort out another flight within 24 hours without any extra cost. I'm very happy with his service. 5 star Neil....

Joke company!!! DO NOT USE THEM! They purposefully miss spell names on tickets to hold people to ransom in the know that people flying within a week HAVE to purchase ANOTHER ticket through them!!
