“Trustpilot’s business practices are unfair to businesses, especially smaller ones. Their model pressures companies into paying for their services to manage reviews and maintain a balanced image. This "pay-to-play" approach, where paying businesses get features like highlighted positive reviews and tailored responses, are coercive. For non-paying businesses, negative reviews are more prominent, impacting reputation without access to the same management tools. These practices create a challenging environment for businesses that aim for transparency but require them to invest just to protect their reputation.”

“NO STARS. Beware of Trustpilot. They are thieving scammers. They renew subscriptions for their customers and increase the subscription price without permission even when you give your notice. I will never recommend this to my clients again and I am revoking my affiliate association with them. You give companies a bad name... You don't promote Trust at all. Bad Trustpilot.”

“They censor all my reviews despite me providing evidence. For example they blocked my review about obtaining a CCJ against Lambeth Clowncil even though I sent a copy of the court document. Trustpilot therefore has zero credibility and I come reviews IO if I want to evaluate a company, never Trustpilot.”

“I had an extremely disappointing experience with this portal. They blocked my account after I left a negative review about Shine.de, a company that misleads sellers. You can’t return poor-quality items and get a full refund because you might not realize you’re buying non-refundable vouchers or items intended for specific events, like parties. After sharing this honest experience on Trustpilot, I was flagged and now have to provide proof of everything I mentioned. This behavior from the portal is completely unacceptable.”

“I saw an interview over the much hype Tesla Financial program and invested the initial minimum of USD 240000, after then i started getting an incessant barrage of phone calls from this broker who tried to pressure me to increase my investment to the next and after so as to double my returns. I finally ended investing a total of USD 540000 before i tuned him off completely. When I demanded to withdraw my investment after 2months, he stopped taking my calls nor responding to my mails. “Trustpilot is an untrustworthy company . They only allow negative reviews to be posted , have repeatedly refused to allow genuine customers from leaving 5* reviews but constantly allow negative feedback from fake reviewers or inaccurate events which occurred … there customer service is a joke… and also allow harassment and bullying to take place via there platform …. Have asked repeatedly for the comlany to disassociate us from there platform because we do not believe they have any integrity at all which they have refused to do… Trustpilot cannot be trusted they are merely a untrusted source for reviews and a shameful company … DO NOT USE THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY & CANNOT BE TRUSTED”

“Put up a bad review about Battleye anti cheat, made the review constructive mentioning the most problems that plague the games its implemented in, they deleted the review cause they couldn't "validate" the issues, I sent them several video proof of the issues, but they told me they do not take video files as valid proof”

“I wish I could leave a minus 10 (-10) score. Utterly unfair and unfeeling. Refusing to respond to emails. Refusing to allow the right of reply (tiny non profit organisation with no spare funds) to false and defamatory reviews. Refusing to consider and remove false reviews. Cannot have anything removed even though we want no part of Trustpilot. Masquerading as a pro customer supportive community services in reality simply a despicable bullying money making operation. Totally being held hostage by Trustpilot.”
