“I left a review on a business, based on research that was publicly verifiable. As I did not purchase from the company, I left a 5 star rating, but honest feedback in the detail, which pointed out all the reasons why I chose not to use the company. Trust pilot removed my review asking for evidence of purchase. I did not feel this was fair, as I felt my research was valuable to consumers and therefore important enough to share to allow others to make purchasing decisions.”

“Trustpilot want proof of my bad experience with one of the companies and want screenshot. I have them, but I cannot send them like their server block everything with attachment through email. WTF!? Like, really!?”

“They are paid by companies like DPD UK to remove bad reviews. Trustpilot's income is effectively a protection racket. Those that pay, like DPD UK, have bad reviews removed after a few days. Look at all their reviews from the last few days then look at their overall score. It's all fake. Trustpilot will ask for a reference number to verify your review, then ignore it and remove the bad review anyway. It's a fake protection racket that inflates the ratings of the most crooked companies out there. Companies like DPD UK.”

“Pile of horse manure my reviews get removed and that's not the first time they think people have time to keep verifying purchase over and over again they a dumb robot to send and verify purchases. My advice don't put customers through this stress where they have written a long review avoid trust pilot”

“They reduce your business' score unless you pay them. We use an alternative platform to encourage customers to leave us reviews (good or bad). Trustpilot's scoring is not solely based on the star ratings but on how many reviews you have with them, how recent they are and how much you encourage customers to review your business THROUGH THEM. This essentially means you get marked down unless you pay to use their service and feature them on your website!”

“I would give no stars if I could. Trustpilot must be the least reliable service around simply because customers would primarily use it to complain. Very few customers log on to actually praise a business. They take good service for granted. It’s mostly - rightly or wrongly - disappointed clients who post reviews online, oftentime to get their own back. What’s more, unlike Google reviews, Trust pilot do not care whether the review is genuine or not. They will not entertain complaints from businesses who have been unjustifiably denigrated. Trust Pilot are just out there to prove their worth. It’s a useless if not damaging service.”

“Actual joke of a company, i made a payment with a gbp card, for a gbp item, and they charged me in usd and therefore the currency fees. They do this all the time for some reason but it used to be pennies so i didnt mind. However i went into settings to try and change it, but still for the item i just bought they did the same thing again. Cowboy company who do this to make money. I called them up and they had the cheek to blame ebay, and then my bank. When i sent them proof, they ignored it. No point speaking to them either. Never using them again.”

“For the second time within the past few months, I have been mislead trying to get a refund on my credit build up. This time I was given a figure of £339:81 on my statement and confirmed by the operator I requested £150. After another phone call today, I was informed my credit is only £69, telling the operator that it was impossible for me to have used £270:81, living on my own having lost my wife in recent months and 89 years old not spending much time at home I was informed there’s been a discrepancy. EON, your ability to maintain customers accounts sending false information is beyond belief, this is the second encounter Iv’e had in recent months with you, unfortunately Iv’e just agreed to another 12 month contract, I should have learnt a lesson after the first encounter. What a way to serve a89 year old gent living on his own having lost his wife.”

“My experience with them was extremely bad and I don’t think they deserve to get any rating at all. It is just unfortunate that there is no option for no rating. They act so unprofessional with clients and in the end they milk you more and more till you’re dry. That was my experience with them and it really affected my financial stability.
