We had registered an account with Trustpilot Business and claimed our company website. After that, we did not have any specific need to log in to that account, so we did not log in until recently since we noticed there were reviews about our company and needed to reply. However, we could not log in. We tried to use the option "forget password" and were supposed to receive an email to reset passwords- but we never received anything. We tried many times in many days, but still no result. We tried to contact their Customer Care but also nothing. The problem is that our business website was already claimed by this account, so even if we wanted to create a new account to reply to those comments, we could not. Trustpilot does not allow us to claim the same website. I am completely lost and don't know what to do.

Title: Disheartening First Experience with Trust Pilot and PureVPN Prior to my encounter with PureVPN, I was unfamiliar with Trust Pilot. My initial experience, however, has left me with a negative impression of both entities. I was a user of PureVPN for three years, during which I consistently experienced significant technical problems. The most prominent issue was the repeated disconnection of my service, often occurring in the middle of the night and leaving me vulnerable to online threats. Despite hours spent with their technical support, no resolution was offered. In an attempt to share my less-than-satisfactory experience, I turned to Trust Pilot to submit a three-star review. In this review, I also noted my transition to ExpressVPN, a change that has been remarkably positive with no issues to report thus far. PureVPN flagged my review, prompting Trust Pilot to step in. What followed was an incessant series of email correspondences, with Trust Pilot continually asking me to substantiate my review with more information. I found the concept of 'proving' my personal experience both perplexing and frustrating. Despite fulfilling their requests by providing screenshots, logs, and even my PureVPN login credentials, Trust Pilot continued to question the validity of my experience. Following their fourth request for more information, they ultimately chose to remove my review. In retrospect, this incident has led me to question Trust Pilot's methods and overall credibility. A platform intended to promote honest feedback appeared to prioritize its client's interests over the user's voice. For a first-time user, this experience has been disappointing. My hope is that Trust Pilot will reconsider their approach to such matters in the future. Ensuring that user experiences are genuinely respected should be of paramount importance.

I had a strange experience with TrustPilot - I reviewed PlusNet mobile, and gave it a negative review. All fine so far. Plusnet then added a 'missed payment' to my credit score, when I was in credit with them. I updated my TrustPilot review to reflect this. My review was taken down by TrustPilot on the basis that I had to 'prove' this had happened. I therefore sent my latest Plusnet bills to TrustPilot, showing that I had a credit on my account - for the same month that Plusnet put me as bad credit on my credit score (my credit score when down a bit). The response from TrustPilot? None. I followed up and am still waiting on a response. I've included a screenshot of the bill, and redacted identifying information, so take a look and see what you think - also included screen grab of credit change.

We have setup TrustPilot for clients, so we decided to do another. It was for an existing business with a great track record, but they hadn't used Trustpilot before. The thing about them is in the name: Trust. But their reviews, are not a TRUE reflection of the customer reviews. If you are new, and you use TP from the outset, you might perhaps get 2-5 customers posting you wonderful glowing 5 star reviews. However, and I don't know how reviews.io works, but with those lovely 5 stars, you do NOT get 5 stars over all. It's worked out in some bizarre method that makes no sense. Surely, if you have 2-3 5 stars, like on Google Reviews, it means... yay, you are a 5 star reviews business. NOOOOOO not in Trustpilots eyes it doesn't. It means you are only around 3.4-3.8 stars. So out of choice, would you pick those, or those with 5 actual stars. hmmmmm.. I understand that one business might have 100 reviews and the new business has 3, but if the new business has just 3, but they are all 5 stars, why is it fair to only show it as 3.5 stars, when in fact, on average, it's had 5? It's so grossly unfair, and they use terms that no real human can understand, to get their heads around their daft setup. Would we recommend TP again to someone - no. If they asked us about it, we'd explain this dodgy setup.

Not Trustable. It is interesting, if You write a good review You don't have to prove anything for them (so companies can trick their customers to write good reviews, like winning or paying for their reviews), but when You write a bad review, You have to have evidence and You have to provide it also.

I left a negative review for a company, the company flagged it, but i was a bit fed up with them so did not want to engage, trust pilot integrity team then contacts me requiring evidence that i was a genuine customer. I sent the order number but that wasnt enough. Seems like negative reviews are challeged and taken down, positive ones are ok. You can't yrust trust pilot teviews. Concentrate on the negative ones only as soneone has had to work hard to have it on trust pilot and jumped through loads of hoops.

Trustpilot formula is unfair! We have so many great reviews and still, our rating is slipping. They keep rejecting our clients reviews even though they are legit!

My trustpilot review for BitPay removed &o hidden On 3rd May, 2020 a review is published on trustpilot to bitpay.com. 3 days later, 6th May, notification received the review has been taken down after being flagged by their "automated" system, or content integrity team. Reason being: unable to verify the authenticity of the review. With option to reply to the team, "always happy to help" Same day, 6th May supporting documentation sent with ~17 emails confirming accuracy, integrity and authenticity on the review. Included, same matching dates, and other facts as expressed in the review. Live transaction reference numbers appearing in the review also confirmed as per the links in supporting documents and / or emails from bitpay.com on confirmed transactions. Accurate documentation provided from this end. A follow up inquiry sent 7th May as to where the review is now correctly re-instated on the trustpilot.com website. No response. A second follow up is sent 8th May. No response. I've found Trustpilot to be a most valuable resource and often look to it for reference and background insight as to how reliable and trustworthy businesses may be before engaging. Following this experience there is now some question as to the accuracy, and integrity on the team and information provided if reviews backed by crystal clear facts are dropped. So the review is published. Then 3 days later it's dropped. Then it's 100% backed by supporting documentation. Then Trustpilot goes silent. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the review on bitpay.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 05 Apr, 2020 after reviewing a number of crypto payment gateways, bitpay is selected primarily due to their attractive and simple offer, easy setup and relatively strait-forward integration requirements. Required information for checks, approval, and ancillary requirements is submitted. The application is approved and completed the same day, 05 Apr, 2020. So far, so good. Time and resources are allocated to proceed with the integration. Final testing is done on the 17th Apr, 2020, almost 2 weeks after signing up. 2 live transactions are processed on their payment network, as progress is made towards sign-off and finalization on the integration, as: * KYjezAXBFoN6vzRDZ26i7S * CPLkZj1DEgpwVvpyKj1eZy Literally hours before going live, the account is closed. Request for further information received as "unable to determine the type of commerce you and/or your business conducts based on the information provided on your application and/or from your website". That which is peculiar is the account was already approved (then it's unapproved). A response is sent on 19th. This is on a 3 day specified response window. A follow up is sent again, on 23rd Apr, 2020. Nothing. Non-responsive. Account closed. Gone silent. Before embarking on a sign-up and integration, be prepared in that your account may be suddenly closed without prior warning or notice. And without any response and / or resolve. And then given the "silent treatment". Mark Berchowitz

The website is impossible to navigate! I never even signed up because the site kept diverting me to an advertisement page for TrustPilot, then another, and another! Tried going to help page, diverted to Business Sign-Up page(which did not work anyway). Just an aggravating experience altogether. I would not recommend it nor use it ever!

I think this site is doing more harm than good for companies trying really really hard to stay afloat at the moment battling against trying to get, and please customers, with government saying what they can and cant do. Trustpilot provides a portal for all the very brave keyboard worriers out there.

Very similar experience to others with TrustPilot. I had an awful experience with a company (MadisonSeating.com) and posted my experience. The company has done everything in its power to take my review down, from saying I wasn't a genuine customer to claiming that I made "defamatory" statements against them. Neither of which are true, and I proved it to TrustPilot. Interesting it takes the company less than a few days to get my review taken down, and it takes me 2 months to get it put back up, even after taking the "corrective actions" within days of being reported. Then it all started to make sense. If the company is paying TrustPilot, who is going to have the most influence? You the customer paying no money, or the company paying money? I'm starting to lose trust in TrustPilot. I will update this if anything different happens, but I'm not holding my breath.

I review with honest and fair criticism my reviews have been removed because the company I'm reviewing has convently lost my account. I have proof of my last review which is in question for Vova. If you can to check these futher then I can provide you with at least once purchase. But convently I dont know how to. I will however keep up writing these reviews.
