Frankly disgusting service. Ordered 4 Dunlop tyres to be fitted. Within 24 hours 1 of the tires had an irreparable bulge. So I called customer service raising the issue and all I got was denials and accusations that it was my fault. They offered to send an engineer out however threatened that a £40 fee would be charged if their own engineer believed it was not their fault. Customer service said the chances that it was their fault were next to impossible. In the end took the troublesome tyre to a local garage where they raised major concerns with how the tyre was fitted, with their being an identifiable leak from the back of the bead. Would not use this service again and would actively discourage anyone else from using it, in case they too get ripped off.

OK. Had a human error issue where tyres were missed on loading the truck. Was initially given a BS%* story but it was quickly cleared up by the lady on telephone support. She then spent locating my tyres in the warehouse, dealing with the manager and organising the fitting later that day. The lads who arrived at 7:40pm had been on shift since 7:30am and were tired but very pleasant. Job was done well and exactly as I would have expected. Kudos for turning this around following the initial blunder. Remember everyone is human and the guys you deal with either on the phone or in person are almost always not the cause of the problem! Well done Tyres On The Drive.

Disgusted! Booked slot and took day off work. They called 20 mins after start of the allocated time slot to state that they would not be attending. Now left with undrivable car and no way to get fixed before work on Monday. Given that they charge £40 for failed appointments they have not even an offered to compensate or discount. Its cost us money for day off and train fares due to having no car over weekend! Spoke to call centre who refused to offer solution over weekend. Terrible.

Fitted the wrong tyres due to description on their website - refuses to put on right tyres unless paid £40 extra call out charge. Customer services rude and cut off phone

Well I am glad I didn't read the other reviews because I may not have used this service, I ordered two front tyres on Monday with a fitting slot on Tuesday between 12pm and 4pm at my work place, they text & emailed me throughout to keep me informed and rang to ask if they could come early which was great. I have never used a service like this before but would now never go back to having to take my car to a garage or tyre place again, this was so convenient and easy, the fitters were great and even helped me by blowing up my spare. I will definitely be recommending to anyone who needs replacement tyres and will use again in the future.

Rubbish company! Ordered 3 firestone extra load tyres. He came at stated time and fitted them, THEN said 'theres a problem', one is Goodyear tyre (not extra load either). Already fitted by then ad on car and already had my dosh as well!!!! he'd fitted it to back of car, one extra load one non extra load, so we said we cant had different load tyres on back and one was for a spare tyre anyway so we said out the goodyear on as spare which he had to change over. He said goodyear was same price but it was not, it was £2 less, we rang them and they say they are coming sat 10 to 12 to change over to firestone? She said there are plenty of these in stock? So why did we get a goodyear? Problem is I hope they've not charged gain thru my credit card, they've raised an invoice for nearly £300 showing 4 tyres so I hope im not being charged twice, I can feel a court case coming on. They are owned by Halfords now. Don't use them they are rubbish.

My car was booked in and I was given a 4 hour window. 2 hours into that window I got a call to sat the Engineer was sick and that it there was no other cars in the area and to re-book. I work for myself and had to take a non-paid day at home to get this done. I appreciate that's my choice of work life-style and they did give me a small refund for the value check cost. I re-booked. Was given a 2 hour window for between 8-10am. 20. mins after 8am I got a phone call to say their van had broken down and that was not another car in my area and that I would have re-book again! I asked to speak to someone more superior as although the chap I spoke was apologetic there wasn't any more senior to talk to and my situation was not a priority! These people are recommended by Halfords and are nationwide so my question is how many vans do they have? What is a priority? And why was there no-one more senior to talk to. Why only 1 van to cover one area? Why do they not maintain their vehicles weekly? I would not recommend these people and I suggest Halfords also consider using how they use for this service. For me Halfords reputation is being damaged.

Booked a tyre fitting and was informed as I had not booked a time slot that they would attend between 8am and 8pm which meant I stayed in all day. At 6pm when it was very dark outside they rang me to tell me that they were very sorry but they couldn't attend. No offer of a part refund no offer of any discount nothing apart from a free 2 hour slot booking in 2 days.... And when I requested a full refund I was told that it would be back in my account in 3 to 5 days. Appalling service. Would never use again.

Absolute terrible company backed by Halfords. Fitter will turn up and subjectively decide that the bolts are over tightened and cannot be removed. Or if he attempts to do it it may damage the locking wheel nut or worse still the whole wheel itself. Clearly scare mongering to get you to agree not to proceed so they can charge a £40 call out fee. Do not use and report to trading standards

Terrible company. The man who did my tyres was clearly in a rush. He jacked the car up from its side so he could change both tyres at the same time, instead of using the correct jacking points. I asked him why and said not to worry, modern cars have 'reinforced sills'. I don't think that's true and my car is 10 years old anyway. When I looked under the car he has bent the sills on both sides and gone through the underseal to expose bare metal underneath. I contacted their customer service about it and sent them the photos straight after he'd left. They said their workman denied the claim and so it was only my word against his and they would not help. I am now going through small claims. I would advise avoiding this company.

I utilised your services as you’re supposed to be the experts in this industry and the level of service received was lackluster. I would of thought Tyres on the Drive would provide the correct methodology and tooling, efficient removal and replacement of tyres in any situation. This was sadly not the case, your operative made no inroads to fix a minor over-tightening problem, just merely stayed on site for 2 minutes and left collecting his £40 call out fee. The tyres we’re professionally replaced within minutes of going to Steer Tyres in Lutterworth – Who didn’t experience any issues with the removal of the tyres with the correct tooling.

Summary - Wrong tyres, damaged tracking, incorrect safety information and rude emails. Where to even start with this! Tyres where not to spec online, zero information about what tyres are being received, tyres were fitted whilst at work as I can’t get to a local garage. Driving car home I realised my tracking had been destroyed and thrown way out of balance, searched tyres online as I had never heard of them to realise they were extremely cheap Chinese tyres with minimal safety ratings unlike the website stated! Called to complain and was told their rating was diffrent in system so nothing can be done. A week later the rain came and the Tyres shown their true colours! A slightly damp indoor car pack soon became a icy slope for these plastic wheels, the car was unable to get up a damp ramp and I had to reverse out of the car park! Again called and emailed just to be told nothing can be done as you take no responsibility and emails were replied to in a snotty manor then ignored! Disguised by the whole show! Not even an answer let alone an apology in site !!!
