I am not a person who normally writes reviews but this app is a rip off and a scam. I used this app about a week ago, and taking in mind the food took forever to get here and it was way overpriced. Then , I deleted OFF of my phone. A week later I get a notification from my bank that Uber charged me $9.99 for a subscription at 10pm. I NEVER signed up for a subscription of theirs. They used my information without my permission AND signed me up for an UNWANTED subscription and charged my bank account. Then I go download the app back to see why I was charged and it would not let me unsubscribe for something I didn’t even get in the first place. This just made me more angry seeing that I am trying to go to bed and at 10pm they charged me for something I didn’t get. They were trying to be sneaky with this charge because it was at 10pm so they probably thought I wouldn’t be able to catch it. I just deleted the whole account. I am mad and will never use this app again . If it was possible I would give them ZERO stars. If you go on Google and search “why is Uber charging me $9.99” they will tell you that they have probably forced you to subscribe to something. This is PROOF that it has not only happened to me, but to many others as well. That is probably how Uber makes all of their money, by ripping people off.

Today, I ordered food on Uber Eats and paid for the urgent delivery fee. The driver did not follow the designated route. When the driver arrived at my house, I kindly told him that he was late. I initially thought the driver would simply apologize and give some common excuses, like not being familiar with the roads, to end the conversation pleasantly. However, the driver rudely shifted the blame. In the end, I asked the driver to leave my property. Even though half of his car was parked in my front yard and the other half in my driveway, he insisted it wasn't my road and refused to leave. I threw a can of Coke in front of his car before he finally left. Later, I attempted to file a complaint with Uber, only to find that my account had been locked for several hours because the driver had reported me first. A few hours later, I received an email from Uber stating that my account had been unlocked. The email also mentioned that my yelling at the driver violated Uber's community guidelines. They informed me that after reviewing the driver's route, they confirmed he hadn’t followed the proper path and refunded me three dollars for the priority delivery fee. I responded to the email, explaining how the driver refused to leave my property, which constitutes trespassing in New Zealand and is a criminal offence. Uber replied, stating they would send a separate email addressing my concern regarding the driver's refusal to leave. A few hours later, I received another email saying that they had already handled my concern in the previous support ticket and to refer to the original message. They also confirmed that Uber would fully refund my order. I have placed many orders on Uber Eats. In the past, there were instances where drivers took over an hour to deliver an order that was only a ten-minute drive from my house, but I understand that sometimes delays happen due to traffic congestion. This time, however, was my first complaint in nearly two years. Ideally, I hope Uber would provide the driver’s information to the police so they can issue a trespassing notice. I am very disappointed with how Uber handled the situation. In the end, I canceled my Uber One subscription and deleted the app.

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALSO THW WORST ice ever seen in my life! Not only have I reported food safety concerns that was NOT REGUNDED, I also had tampered with products from Walgreens, missing food items. Wrong orders etc and nothing has been done to resolve this. I have literally thrown out food because a child of a driver had eaten a portion. I have no choice to order delivery due to a recent surgery. This company takes advantage of people like myself and employ people without experience or liable checks and verification. A driver in a completely different car, had his girlfriend delivering my order. This is out of control. I will be reporting to BBB AND WILL ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO STOP USING UBER EATS

Driver broke my front gate. Reported damage to UberEats (Asia reps). Said an email wb sent with claim adjuster's contact info. Never sent after 3 tel calls. I asked to be read the adjuster's info but said they didn't have it. Getting the BS each time. This is not a reputable company. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. I plan to share this experience all over social media.

They are the scammers!!!!! Uber Eats has repeatedly charged me twice for the same order, refunding the first amount minus a small fee (around 4-5 cents). They claim the first charge is an estimate, and the second is the actual amount. For example, they might charge $15.95 initially and then $16 later, only to refund $15.95, keeping 5 cents. This has happened multiple times, and recently, I didn't receive a refund for the second charge at all. When I followed up, they told me to contact my bank. I don't understand why only Uber Eats does this and not other food delivery apps. As a student, every penny matters, and I’m very disappointed. I won’t use this app again.

The driver held my order for over 30minutes. I followed him on the tracker and he sat in Asda carpark for 30minutes. He even admitted it and was like sorry your meal is cold. £27 on McDonalds for two! Order was not fully completed. Uber eats said there was nothing they could do and did nothing

Uber eats consistently has on numerous occasions put 40% coupons in my promo tab to reel me in, then when i create an order it and attempt to checkout it disappears I then call them about it and ask “hey why is this happening” there answer on both occasions was “we reserve the right to cancel any promotion at will” Which I understand but wouldnt promoting it to me then taking it away repeatedly but somewhere on the lines of bait and switch though there policy allows it im not sure if law does, i have contacted an attorney my phone number is (626) 806-3132 if there is anyone experiencing similar issues i urge you to contact me as california has some of the strictest consumer protection laws in the united states, and I believe there may be actions for a class action lawsuit in which i personally will be seeking exemplary damages. Businesses that target and willingly take advantage of customers are unacceptable in my opinion, it really bothers me when big corps do things like this just because they can so i am going to do everything my power to promote change and ultimately a better experience for the consumer, at the cost of uber eats bottom line. Law trumps policy, and this to my knowledge is illegal. I have images and videos to share as well

They need to be stopped they are taking peoples money I stopped using them because I always had missing items and didn’t get my refund went to DoorDash haven’t had any problems with them get this they lewered me back with a 50% off thing ordered 2 pizzas and a brownie an it happened again no brownie an they say it’s not eligible for a refund they did this to me about 5 times with no refund for the missing items they need to be investigated an shut down end of story

I even don’t want to give them 1 star. My food late for 2 hours, contacted live support twice. 1 person cut me out from the conversation, 2nd person never talks! This company is the worst. I ended my membership.

I'd want to but a zero star! I keep on getting emails for 25$ of first order 1$ min etc. Decided to use it spent a long while I was hungry to place an order after a while once everything finally loaded and I checked out code was not applied!!!!! HOW DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FOOL US! you thought this is the way u will gain a costumer? I'm never going to trust you again!

Whenever they get your order wrong they never want to refund your money. The orders are always wrong. I asked for two lemonades at Taco Bell and got two waters and the tacos were soo soggy and disgusting and Uber eats refused to refund me.

Horrible Just crooks I would definitely never order again as mu order went to different address and was charged and I had live location on whole time and still went to wrong address once they get there money it's over they charged me 32 dollars for 2 burgers and never got them wouldn't do Anything to make it rite either so I went and got the same order 16 dollars so uber Definitely makes a premium and bot to help with a order not getting where it should is just bad business all the generic speeches and people reading cards they don't care beware I would rare Uber neg 100 if I could a horrible premium service just becareful And possibly check prices

I order 50% fruit and veg offer on Monday. Was charged full price I was advised by the delivery driver to refuse the order and he will take it back.... however he did not he has stole the shopping. I contacted uber support to be told they will offer me a refund of 50%. So now I have no shopping and am out of pocket £40+ and uber customer service thinks this is fair? They are not going to investigate the driver so he has been able to get away with free food.

Having the driver cancel my items, to not only be charged for the items, but allowing the driver to keep the items I ordered. What a joke of a company. Don’t t get me started on their automated response system for below average customer service - complete garbage.

Try ordering with gift card and you still want my banking info and you give discount codes and there expired or you deactivate them

I wish I could rate them 0 stars. Multiple orders never received with zero customer service and still getting charged. Drivers hardly speak English and DGAF about service. Please stay away from this complete loser service.

I would give this zero. I keep getting promotions I can’t use and noone can tell me why? I finally after a month of this called customer service miraculously through a random number I found. The guy gave me no answers then told me my account was……illegal? Whhhhhhat does that mean?
