I was charged $7.62 for a Coke Zero that never got delivered. I’m a disabled veteran and a senior citizen. It’s very difficult for me to leave my house so I rely on delivery services. I’m on a limited income and usually order out once a month. Uber eats refused to refund me. There customer service reps are very smug.They apologized and verified that I didn’t get it. They won’t refund me. This is the second time this has happened to me. I had to eat it on the last order, I’m determined to get Satisfaction. If I had ordered from Instacart, this probably wouldn’t happen and if it did, they would take care of it immediately I didn’t know you could order through Instacart. That’s from now on. The customer service manager apologized then hung up on me.

Would give 0 stars if I could! Would give 0 stars if I could!! Multiple times I have received my order damaged, cold or missing items a few time it didn’t even turn up! And when I contact customer service they say there’s nothing they can do this time I spent money £££ on this food! This delivery company needs to go bust absolutely shocking they don’t care about customers just filling their pockets with money !!

Horrible. Literally horrible. Order arrived 1 1/2 hours late, cold, with a BONE, and all I got was “We have reviewed that your order does not quality for a refund or price adjustment. Thanks for your understanding.” Never EVER order from here. DoorDash, Grubhub, I don’t care just not Uber. Trust me.

The service has gotten so bad. Customer Service doesn't care if you don't get your food, they just have the same line they use now all the time, "thank you for your understanding but your order doesn't qualify for a refund". They ask for pictures then don't even look at them. They don't respond when they say they're sending your concern to a 'special team'.

I frequent have problems with food being delivered. My last order will be just that. Drivers are allowed to make multiple stops. This last order I watched driver make uturns on the way to my house. Initially the customerservice person said she will not refund my money. Multiple calls i finally received a refund. Deleting the app and changing my credit card number

Untrustworthy Unprofessional Thiefs I placed an order, it took 1 and 1/2 hour and still not delivered, and kept switching dlivery persons, so I navigated to the help section they said I could change it to pick up instead. When my brother took a uber to the restaurant, they were closed. So I had to pay for the order and the transportation to and from the restaurant. Why was it available on the site/app if the restaurant was closed. After contacting Support help center about the issue they refused to help and "resolved" the case several times, even though the issue remained. They are crooks. I never received the food order and they refused to refund the money spent for even just the food, never mind the transportation. And resolved the cases when it is not resolved in the middle of the conversation. It is unprofessional and just stealing.

Ordered from grocery store Starbucks GROUND coffee. Received substitute Starbucks Coffee BEANS!!! Useless, since I do not have a grinder. Customer service said not eligible for a refund since the whole bean was the best match for my original ground coffee order. RIDICULOUS! Done with Uber Eats...DD less expensive too and their drivers communicate to ensure customer satisfaction.

Uber eats has by far the worest customer service i have ever encountered in my entire life. There is no actual human interaction. No phone numbers. They only help you with a couple of messed up orders but after that if your food is wrong, cold, or missing something your still paying for it. Please be advised do not use Uber eats! I haven't hated a company more then what this company has put me through. I have waster hundres and hundreds of dollars.

Uber eats customer service is terrible. Delivery took 30 minutes after pickup despite only being 5-7 minutes away. Driver would not respond to texts and even to verify his safety. Cancelled order before delivery and was still charged for the cold food. Customer support said they would credit Uber cash for 50% of the order. However the $12.xx was not 50% of $57.xx. Customer Support then corrected themselves to 25%… and in the end only credited $5.xx of Uber Cash. Absolutely don’t recommend using this company… Customer Support has no integrity whatsoever and gives you no time to respond before closing your issue as resolved before you can respond.

I placed an order on September 28, 2024 and my meal arrived but no drinks! Mind you, I am affected by Hurricane Helene and have been without electricity for two days now, so naturally I'm thirsty and running out of money. Uber Eats credited my Uber Eats account without even asking if I wanted a refund to my debit card (my money back). How do they assume I will order from them again or that I didn't need or want my money back? I will be disputing the entire purchase order with my bank and be getting ALL of my money back now.

I ordered a pizza and received the wrong order. When it was brought to their attention they admitted the order was incorrect but stated I would have to place a new order to get what I wanted. This was the recommended solution after a few conversations back and forth. Not using them again!

If it was possible to rate them zero stars. I definitely would. They keep messing up and refuse to take responsibility for it. Absolutely refuse. Today. The most arrogant driver I have ever met, refused to listen to or assist with my problem, caused by their app. A problem I have reported multiple times. Here is what I sent them. And the REFUSE to refund me the money, for an order their driver clear stole : "Firstly. Let me state that : 1: I contacted your very arrogant driver before he tried to contact me and communicated with him throughout untill he left my things on the road side. 2: how does your app, send my order to the correct address, and the send the add-on order to the previous addres I used? And this is after I have been ordering to this address for 2 days???? Not the first time this happened to me. I sent him my whatsapp number, I sent him the correct address and the Google maps link to the pin. I offered him an extra tip, asked nicely for long. YOU NEED TO READ THOUGH MY CHAT WITH HIM. I want this driver prevented from ever accepting any of my orders. I want a full refund, as someone already picked up my order that the arrogant driver left next to the street. Or this guy took the photo, and the after that, took the item for himself. I spoke to the owner of the addres where he allegedly left my order on the side of the road, and he did not even ring the intercom bell, that RIGHT next to where he took a photo of the order, right before taking it for himself and marking it as delivered. Your support is south africa is absolutely pathetic. Especially considering that I spend more than 5 times the amount I ask a refund for, on a daily basis, at least 5 days of the week. I wish someone would start a competition app to smash their business over here. We don't need Any more tsotsi's in South African business
