They're good at calling you fraudulent if you cancel orders which you have a right to do but they rip off their drivers with orders and they get rich off the backs of the drivers they're very unprofessional and they're crooks

Don’t want to issue a refund because I have had refunds in the past for either missing items, receiving other people’s orders, and for poor inedible grocery items, not fit for purpose!

DO NOT USE UBER EATS FOR GROCERIES! They LITERALLY never get your order right, then refuse to fix their error of missing or wrong items. It also takes days of chasing them, with not response, then finally a ridiculous holding response or them supposedly looking into it, then finally they get tired of the chasing presumably and reply that they won’t refund, replace or exchange the items. It’s total joke. I’ve tried them a couple of times for groceries, giving them the benefit of the doubt but this is a constant thing with them. They literally do not care what they deliver to you!

If I could give zero stars I would. I never recieved my food and because the driver picked it up I had to pay for it and they got free food which is ridiculous because they are not held accountable at all! Just sad!!!

1 of the dishes were missing from my order - When I disputed this with Uber Eats they said "After reviewing your case, we have determined that your order is not currently eligible for a refund." $21 down the drain for something the restaurant 'Take it, Cheesy' Wellington didn't to send me.

On 3 cancelled orders which shows on my order history they charged me the next day, which I didn't find out until a week later when I went to my bank. And when I let them know they said ."We're sorry but you didn't let us know in 48 hours," which I didn't know till I went yo the bank it's obvious that the orders were cancelled and they refused to return the 84 dollars .My bank will dispute it.

Couldn't cancel Uber one online, appalling automated system. No longer an Uber user. Your paying to much for less. Takeaways are increasing prices online, cheaper to get a taxi to takeaways

Automated, poor system, implementing a pattern of theft. Continuous drivers pretend they have delivered food but the company does not refund it if you don't receive the order. Absolute scam and should not be legally operating in the UK. NO REFUND was offered.

Charged 45 for an order that initially didn't go through...canceled to reorder and 💥 charged the entire order not a minute later tried to just retrieve the order impossibe..it wasn't even started......I was a very loyal customer..always tipped well..and left great reviews.....very unfair.........

Wouldn't even give them one star. Food ordered and delivered cold, not restraints fault took driver over 30 minutes to deliver order that was less than 3 miles distance. Refused to give refund after saying it would be refunded. Ignore all communication. Customers lost. Absolute sh*t company

Never use this service, I redeemed a $100 gift card and minutes later my account was banned for "fraudulent activity" or something. Support refuses to reinstate my account. App is a huge scam.

After ordering from Burger King which was 2 hours late, I checked the progress on the map and refreshed the page which then somehow put through a second order that had been in a basket at another restaurant. I tried to cancel the order on the app several times but was presented with a blank page. I then called customer support who advised just to accept the order and make a complaint through the app. He then marked the complaint as resolved. I then tried to contact them again on them again via email which was ignored. I then made a complaint via the app and was advised that I hadn’t complained within the time frame. I was charged nearly £60 quid for 2 meals from 2 separate restaurants for 1 person. All of the food was very late and subsequently cold and inedible. I’ll never use them for anything again

ANYONE can do Uber eats and with that being said people are stealing people food and that's just what the world coming to today. I been deleted app after someone took picture like they delivered my food and took it the food...smh

In addition to exorbitant fees and surcharges, their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Yesterday I opened the app, saw I had a 40% off promo expiring in 2 days. Chose from the eligible restaurants and applied it at checkout. Everything worked until the last screen where it said the promo was not being applied. The order ended up going through but the promo was removed. So I ended up paying 20$ more than planned. This is also false advertising, I have all the screenshots. I reached out to support who told me they could not amend an open order but to return once the order as complet. I did just that and I kept getting transferred in the chat to the “specialized department”. I think I was transfered 5-6 times and they kept transferring me. Ultimately they told me the specialized team would email me back. This morning I got an email simply telling me how to apply a promo code. It’s like they don’t read any details and copy and paste generic help from their FAQ. I am livid honestly and am going to cancel and delete Uber and Uber Eats. I’ve been a customer for years but they’re scammers. Avoid at all costs

If I could give it a negative I would..loyal customer since forever..always give great reviews and good tips....until this week an order said error that it didn't go through so I hit cancel to reorder I was charged not a cancelation fee ..the ENTIRE ORDER 45....FOE FOOD I DIDN'T RECEIVE!!!!!!AND IT WAS NOT EVEN STARTED..........MIND U...I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER I THINK THIS WAS INSANE!!!!!!!!

home… Ordered from McDonald's app for home delivery. Uber were supposed to be delivering My order was placed at 13:40. I had tracked order which gave 3 different driver's details and 3 different time changes for delivery. One of 14:05 then to 14:25 then to 14:55. I call Uber telephone number and poor customer service was to give me option to cancel my order and push blame onto McDonald's for not having the order ready. Now have to wait up to 15 days for my money to get paid back into my account with Uber stating it's McDonald's that will need to be chased up for money.

Disgusting scamming company. Do not use ever again, placed an order and had 3 missed calls from a number but no sign of delivery at all. I have a ring doorbell as proof no one attempted delivery. Uber say because the driver attempted to contact us were not due a refund. How does it work that you get no food and you’re out of pocket? Apparently all the delivery drivers need is a log of a call, so they can ring once, put the phone down and that’s enough. Cannot call back as phone is switched off less than 30 seconds after calling. Will be taking this as far as it is possible. I hope this sham of a company go out of business

The driver Lizette picked up my food; got 1 minute away from my house and pretended to be at my house but wasn’t; bottom line she cancelled my order and kept the food. Contacted Ubereats and Maria just disregarded the fact I only ordered twice from the same place two days apart and it’s by no surprise my first driver found me no problem but this driver didn’t want too and didn’t care too, but she keep my kids pizza and soda… Uber eats is the worst experience ever! I never received my refund as they said I would, it’s still pending charge.

I am convinced that there is some kind of scam going on with Uber Eats. Two days in a row I did not receive my food. Both times it was drivers who did not "speak any English" and I could not direct them to my location. The first order I was charged for it even though I didn't receive my order. I tried calling the driver, he didn't speak any English and I was hung up on. Then the second one on the following day, I found someone who speaks fluent Spanish at my work and he talked with the driver and she told him where she was. I asked him to tell her I was on my way to meet her. I drive over to meet her, she cancels my order and refuses to give me my food. I don't know what in the hell is going on but I am done with Uber Eats. What a freaking joke, I really feel like these "non English speaking" drivers are scamming folks out of their damn food. From now on I'll just go get the food my damn self. I'm DONE!
