“I have now used the Sonic Toothbrush and the water flosser for 1 year. My thoughts are,
Toothbrush:
Battery life is great.
Power is great.
Feels well made and not too plasticky.
Button sticks out and very easy to turn brush off accidentally. A lot.
Heads feel mediocre quality.
Replacement heads are too expensive - £25 for 3 inc postage. Especially as they aren’t very special.
Water flosser:
Very powerful.
Good battery.
UV claim feels like it might be overstated. It’s just a blue led.
Button combo to start is fidly.
Rubber power port falls off easily.
Mine broke after 8 months but was replaced hassle free.
Customer service is good and they are quick to help.
By no means a bad system - probably could do just as well with any cheap Chinese brand from Amazon - tbh this is probably just a branded one of those. But at least customer service is good if it breaks. I wish the heads were better or cheaper.”

“Love this toothbrush, it's got 3 settings, which ive tried. My last toothbrush i had was like being attacked violently. I kept using it because it was extremely expensive.

“I bought this product with great expectations but find it difficult to use. The water holder is too big and bulbous to be held comfortably in my hand. Also it is difficult to manipulate to position at the back of my teeth, especially my premolars. The design of this product, in my opinion, is bad. All in all, I will definitely be going back to normal flossing.
Spotlight oralcare contacted me asking me to change my review and rating. It seems to think the issue has been dealt with. I gave them a 6 because they were quick and polite getting back to me. But nothing has changed! In my opinion, the problems of design render the flosser useless.”

“Spotlight oral care’s toothbrushes and toothbrush heads are expensive but there’s always deals and discounts and offers which makes them much more affordable. I’ve had my toothbrush for two years now and it’s still good as new. The battery lasts for ages too, much longer than my husband’s oral b one. I bought my six year old one too and she really likes it. There is a built in timer so I know she is brushing properly, and not just doing a once over.”

“Always used Oral-B however the prices for the new models is ridiculous, paying for AI that needs me to use my phone isn't for me, I just want a good clean, hence I decided to try Spotlight Oral Care at less than half the cost. Sonic tech is very different. It glides over the teeth rather than brushing fast however for me I got a better clean. The toothbrush design looks good and the toothbrush handle is dryer after use. Like the colour options.”
