Another horrible experience at Uniqlo (I had no idea they were receiving such bad reviews, should have checked here before purchasing)! After having spent over $500 at Uniqlo (Yorkdale Mall) yesterday (Nov. 16, 2019), I returned today to purchase a few more items and to exchange a couple of wool sweaters that turned out to be too big. Having bought size Medium sweaters from the company before, I figured I didn't have to try them on. Uniqlo refused to exchange the size medium for size smalls simply because I didn't bother to bring the tags with me - even though I had the receipt. This is the first time I heard of this policy, and they didn't bother to mention this significant detail a when explaining their exchange and refund policy. I explained to them that I live about 2 hours away, but Uniqlo would not budge. I had the same situation at ZARA (I was returning their down coat to buy Uniqlo's seamless down coat, and I had no issues at ZARA). Note: Most retailers do returns / exchanges with just the receipt. I've been a loyal customer of Uniqlo over the years, and to be treated so poorly and with such disrespect was very jarring!! I will not support this company again, ZARA will get my business. It's particularly disappointing, because Uniqlo is a Japanese company, and having spent time in Japan, I am cognizant of the the Japanese values of honour, integrity, respect and excellent service. Uniqlo is a total disappointment for representing the Japanese. I hope they lose business and fail in Canada!! Never buying another item from you again!!!

You've earned another poor review. Uniqlo is refusing to refund an umbrella when it bent out of shape in light winds on first use. Rubbish products and refuse to refund, despite statutory short-term right to reject under CRA 2015. "we have not deemed the condition of this item as a result of a manufacturing fault. We believe that this is the result of wear and tear and so we are unable to assist you further on this matter. We appreciate the time in allowing us to investigate this further."

Twice in a row, my online order went missing and was never delivered. The money was charged but I didn't receive any answer from Customer Service. In the end it took them more than one month to refund. Very disappointing experience.

It’s horrible experience from Uniqlo. I was ordered free items from them and no charge after I ordered. Suddenly I received email shows charge me over $450 for my order. It’s crazy like that. Soooo disappointing

As soon as Uniqlo opend store in Edmonton, on the 3rd day I went and bought jacket by $ 96.00. But when I start to wear it the feathers from inside the jacket which they might put for insulation comes out and frustrates when you see the feathers wherever i sit. Because of that now i couldn't wear it anymore. I feel like threw my money into garbage

I love Uniqlo's products, but their customer service is a true disaster. I returned some items from an order and received confirmation that the package was received in the Uniqlo warehouse. No refund appeared on my account. It took me two (very long) phone calls (and several weeks) to eventually learn that the refund had failed. (No one from Uniqlo informed me of this before I called.) It wasn't until my fourth phone call and my insistence that I speak to a manager that I learned that the refund had failed multiple times as a result of a technical error on Uniqlo's end. Then, in my FIFTH phone call, I learned that this technical error had been logged already a week prior to that fifth phone call, yet nothing had been resolved. All the "supervisor" could do was "reach out" to that department. Before realizing that the refund for my first order was going to be such a mess, I ordered some replacement items and requested in-store pickup. I was never notified that the items were available in the store, and approximately 10 days after I placed the order I (ironically) received a credit on my account for the new order. After two phone calls to customer service, I was able to discover that the items were never logged in at the store and were sent back to the warehouse.

I've been wearing their Heat Tech shirts, turtles, and tights for the last several winter seasons. They're just fabulous - soft, go through the wash perfectly without wrinkling, breathe beautifully. In the winter months, this is my go-to shirt day-in and day-out often with a sweater or down jacket on top. Also excellent as a sleep shirt. And the price is simply ridiculous.

delivery later than the email had informed me. Item left on the door step with bag open paperwork stolen and items looked at. Complained to Uniqlo but never got a word back, really poor show for a Japanese branded company. Lost faith in ordering items from them online and they have done nothin got reassure me .

online size specs are completely bogus and overstated. Ordered chinos and jeans, and both arrived too small. Then, to add insult to injury, they charged me $7.00 to send back my return for the privilege of waiting 14 business days (from the time that they receive the return) to get my money back. Avoid ordering from Uniqlo online. I won't be doing business with them again.

I bought a pair of jeans and followed their sizing chart. They ended up being too large. I spent $5 to ship and then $7 to return without any shipping reimbursement. I was very disappointed after spending money, I do not have any jeans. I just want buyers to be aware.

Ordered a Roger Federer baseball cap online. No problems with delivery. Wore it for 20: to 30 minutes in the rain and the hat had discoloured. Uniqlo suggested I’d either washed it incorrectly or is was down to ‘Wear and Tear’. The hat was brand new!!!

Otherwise, this is their fault not my, I have to come back and waste my time for this situation. I’m very disappointed because of their bad service. The staff who served me are “Trisha and Sophia”. I’m still wondering how can this mistake happened.

LOW QUALITY PRODUCTS—“TOO MUCH CHEMICAL SCENT” Beware! There are Low quality products at UNIQLO !!! On 5/27/2019 I bought some woman’s AIRism bra top (#2000123618234; #2000123618531; #2000123618753; #2000123618296, Receipt invoice NO. 6328) at the UNIQLO Santa Anita Store (400 South Baldwin Avenue Arcadia, CALIFORNIA 91007). After washing the bra tops in the washing machine with normal tide detergent, I detected a strong chemical odor, and on keeping the clothes in my room, I began feeling dizzy and an uncomfortable headache. OMG!! How can I wear these bras with this chemical scent on it all the time? On 6/3/2019 I went back to the store to ask for a refund. I was so DISAPPOINTTED that the supervisor, who is named John O, told me that the Strong Chemical Smell was from using the incorrect washing method, which didn’t make any sense. The fact that the garment had contained too much chemicals in it, No matter how you washed the garment, the smell would still exist! And it is a reflection on how poor quality the product was! Again, I pressed him for a refund or another solution for the problem, as I cannot wear those bra tops with that strong chemical scent. He DISAPPOINTTED me again and said that there was NO return, No exchange, and either I take it back or donate it all back to the store. The review is to try to inform the owner and CEO of UNIQLO that if the clothes had too much chemicals in it, it can cause a big problem for health of the customers---STOP selling or donating these low quality products to people that may harm their health! Also to anyone reading this, do not buy these poor quality clothes if they continue selling it. Beware! Be a smart buyer!!
