“Great service form the Chelmsford branch ! Called on the day and they fitted me in for MOT and service same day ! Rob was very helpful and I will continue to use them instead of Kwikfit Fit !”

“Needed four less common tyres and the Staines branch ordered them in for the following day. Despite being very busy they provided a great service, keeping the flow of customers moving comfortably. They were extremely helpful. Service and price was excellent. Will certainly use them again.”

“trying to track down some tyres fro a 19" Qashqai is not easy. Joe Lubert at London Road West Thurrock, RM20 was very helpful and the price was excellent and worth the 20 mile drive form my home. Customer service could not be faulted and the guys even took a look at a problem I had with my tyre senors. I have already recommended them to 3 colleagues... Ill be back.”

“Got a flat tyre on the a2 just after the blackwall tunnel and with a flat spare I wasn't going anywhere fast. Walked to the nearest branch at Greenwich and got it sorted straight away. They went above and beyond and gave me a lift back to my car and fitted the new tyre for me on the hard shoulder! Didn't know service still existed like this!”

“Went to dartford today had my motorbike tyre repaired and I fount several deep scratches all over my wheel bloke said it was not them but they weren't there before so I wouldn't bother useing them as they are not doing nothing about it”

“The guys at Plaistow branch are amazing, restored my faith in humanity several times. Especially being a female driver. I can absolutely suggest their services to everyone without a doubt. They are always helpfull, respectful and friendly. I've used their services about 5 times for different problems with my car and they have always done their best to get it fixed. I can't thank them enough.”

“I went to my local branch in Chelmsford and was served by Paul I think it was. I needed tracking for my second hand car I just purchased (Mazda MX5 1995) as it had a very odd steering angle.. I asked for the normal front wheel tracking that I have always had done on previous cars but Paul politely informed me that it is crucial the MX5 has a 4 wheel track as the rears are adjustable on this vehicle too, to only align the front wheels could make it even worse (Crabbing). Unfortunately the Chelmsford branch's 4 wheel tracking system was being repaired at the time so Paul could not carry out the proper 4 wheel tracking work and refused to do half the job as it wont help me(He could of just not told me and still got my money!) with my permission he suggested other local branches. He checked with his colleague Joe at the Thurrock branch who said he can fit me in on the same day. I made my way to Thurrock and Joe immediately knew who I was and what I wanted. Within a few minutes he was personally looking over my vehicle on the ramp with a colleague oh his who was very helpful too. Joe explained the tracking was very poorly set up (likely due to past owners incorrectly tracking just the front wheels. I know why now! thanks to Paul) Joe really treated me with respect and explained everything to me, the job ended up taking longer than usual due to some seized parts but worked until the job was done. Him and his staff's service was 10/10. I left very happy. Do yourself a favor and stick with Universal Tyres/Autocentres. I have finally found the garage/s I will keep going back to. They are knowledgeable and honest and refuse to do half a job. 100% recommend. THANKS PAUL (Chelmsford) AND JOE (Thurrock)! - Ricky”

“Having recently had excellent service when Rob at Dartford replaced two tyres on my motorbike I returned today to get new brake pads on my car Rob managed to fit me in with very short notice as i was leaving on work tomorrow. As usual very quick, efficient and friendly service at a great price. I will be returning for my annual service and MOT in a few months as i don't get service like this at my usual garage. Wold highly recommend”

“I visited the Staines branch on 9th April with a totally flat tyre, hobbled there at 2mph only to see the shutters just coming down - in a panic I still got out and asked where the next best place to go was and the young man then went about enquiring on my spare tyre, that he would fit it for me. We then discovered my locking wheel nut key didn't fit all tyres and again, instead of sending me home, he, and I believe the manager, then took about breaking the nuts of with hammers and various implements..I hasten to add this was past closing time, it was pouring with rain and they didn't have to do it. They managed to fit my spare, temporary tyre and got me on the road on a Saturday afternoon with a new tyre ordered for me for Monday morning - where I returned and had it fitted all by 9:00am. Cant fault this service, if nothing else it restored my faith in humanity :) Wont go anywhere else. Id also like to add I live on the same road as a Kwik-Fit branch!!! Universal is a 10 minute drive away from me which I think tells you how much I rate Universal!”

“Brilliant service from the guys (Andrew and Terry) at the Ipswich branch. I called at 9am this morning and they were to me within 45 minutes for an emergency call out for a puncture repair. Would thoroughly recommend. Best price around too! Thank you so much. Katie”
