“I was surprised to find that there were actually no “lockers” but that people’s suitcases were just sitting in the middle of the store. The staff were, however, courteous and efficient. I would use Vertoe again.”

“Was apprehensive at first,as my luggage was in plain view. When I returned to claim my items, they were in the exact same spot and in the exact same condition as when dropped off. 4 stars is because of the initial concern about being in plain sight.”

“First time using this service. It was pretty simple. The only thing I didn’t care for was the location employee wanted me to just leave our bags in the corner of the store where customers shop and walk away. They were extremely busy and the person responsible for placing the bags in the secured storage area was out on deliveries for an undetermined amount of time. The employee said the bags were their responsibility now and nothing would happen. I waited for 15 minutes and she then said it was their liability if something happens. I’m more concerned that there were one of a kind items in the luggage that couldn’t be replaced if they were to go missing. I finally left the bags in the corner of the store. When I picked up the bags one of the ID tags was broken on my luggage. My lock was still in place though. Nothing was missing. I was told it broke when the tag was adjusted to verify the serial number during pick.”

“Our luggage of 4 cases was presented to the premises on 8th Ave, New York across from the Port Authority. Vertoe blue tags were put on baggage and we took photos of tag numbers. Although our baggage was not stored in a secure room, but at the rear of the shop, there appeared to always be staff around the area where the luggage was placed.”

“Worked super for us. The drop-off was at 357 7th Ave. NYC, near the Megabus busstop. The employees at the store weren't particularly friendly. We received tags to tag our luggage and it was safely stored. However we received no confirmation that we actually stored 5 suitcases at the store. We only received the booking confirmation with booking ID. After a some 4 hours we collected our luggage again and took the subway E to JFK. I can recommend Vertoe, would probably pick a different drop off location as I like friendly employees much better. Also it would have been nice to receive a confirmation that I had actually stored 5 suitcases at the location, incl. the tagnumbers of the tags.”

“This was my first time using Vertoe and this location had highly convenient proximity to Logan Airport. It saved me from having to haul my luggage around Boston all day, which I was truly thankful for! The only hesitation I had was that the lady didn't understand English, but at least she understood the reason I was there. It required a bit of a leap of faith to leave my luggage there essentially in plain sight, but I would definitely still do it again. Thanks Vertoe!”

“It seemed sketchy on first look, but after hearing of a second-degree contact using it successfully, I gave it a try. I ended up using the same location as she did (I considered another that may have been more convenient, but didn't have as good reviews and was stated to be in a smoke shop).”

“The concept is great but the storage room where we put our bags really needs to be cleaned up. It was dirty and unorganized. The store itself was clean and the staff nice but the room should have been cleaned up”
