£41.44 was taken via DD when items had been returned 3 weeks previous. I phoned up to ask why they had taken this money and requested that it was refunded. They said it was a mistake and I would have to wait 10 days for a cheque to be raised to refund me. My account had actually gone into credit of £13.45 so in fact they owe me £54.89. I explained that waiting 10 days was not good enough as by the time the cheque reaches me and then clears in my account 2 weeks would have passed. Why they can’t take my bank details and transfer the refund to me instantly is crazy, some people live on a really tight budget. Waiting 2 weeks for a refund could impact them massively like not being able to put food in the fridge due to no funds. I felt like I was banging my head against a brick wall, they would not escalate and put me through to a manager, they would not provide me with an email address. Absolutely ludicrous. I can pay the company with a few clicks on my banking app but they insist the only way they can pay a refund takes over 2 weeks.

I am so upset! Purchased a canon camera from Very. Took it out the box first thing noticed the memory card that was supposed to be there was not! I had my own so wasn’t too bothered but gradually realising this is a used camera! Not brand new so I’m really pi**ed off! Starting my photography course so really needed the camera but flash doesn’t work. Called to arrange a refund start telling me it will need to be sent for repair! No way! I want and need a refund asap for my cours.

Horrendous customer service. Spent 3 hours on phone holding and talking over a replacement product. They then had the cheek to tell me it was delivered to mu home (address in Liverpool). I live in Northern Ireland...ridicoulous really. They rmthenhung up. Absolutely fuming!!!

Disgusting gave me an account placed an order recieved order made a payment as soon as I received my order and they cancelled my account without explanation absolutely terrible customer service

I’ve had nothing but issues with them I make payments and no time I give more and I still get told I owe minimum payment last month I ended up paying 2 minimum payments time before that I paid over £114 and the minimum payment and was still charged a late payment I go to my account n today it still saying I owe minimum payment but I don’t this happens every month I’ve been told I can pay from when statement is sent out so it’ll be online 24 September and u have till 15 October to pay so I’ll pay on my pay day 7th if October but thry will text me n dsy I’ve not paid when I have n if I don’t pay sgsin I get £15 arreas fee even though I’ve just been told I can pay from statement date till due date

They advertised free delivery but my experience is that is far from the truth.Rang up customer service and they said it's £3.99 for first delivery,.At that point I discontinued the call as nowhere did it say you had to pay for your first delivery.Bad and confusing,they shouldn't be allowed to advertise free delivery option.

Very customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. For one I couldn’t understand single word the woman said. Of course she was foreign and this is no slight toward people from other countries but she was extremely cheeky and shouted at me! I bought this lovely anklet in silver that was a December birth stone. It snapped within a month of purchase. What I was told was if I send it back I would BE CHARGED FOR THE PRIVILEGE! Absolute cheek of it! I ended up hanging up on the nasty customer services representative. What a load of s**t. I AM FUMING!

My experience with Very has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Initially, they approved my credit and made it seem as though everything was in order. I was able to place my order without any issues, and the status was marked as 'Processing', which led me to believe everything was progressing smoothly. However, this false sense of security didn’t last long. The very next working day, I received a call from a customer service agent who was far from hospitable or courteous. Instead of helping me understand any issues, the conversation felt demeaning, and I was treated with a complete lack of respect. To add insult to injury, my order was then rejected, despite the fact that it was well within the credit limit they had previously approved. There was no clear explanation provided for this decision, and the vague reasoning left me completely baffled. It felt as though Very was being deliberately misleading, offering credit but making it impossible to actually use it. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable from any company, let alone one that claims to value its customers. The entire process, from the false hope of credit approval to the appalling customer service and inexplicable order rejection, has left a sour taste in my mouth. It’s hard to trust a company that operates in such a deceitful manner. Very should be held accountable for these practices, as they are not only dishonest but also completely unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.

I usually don’t have any issues with Very but I bought a bag from them for £85 and when the bag arrived it had a tag on it showing the actual price as £25.72. When I called and asked them to price match to the tagged price they refused and even tried to convince me that the price on the website could have changed to £25.72 after I bought it … it hadn’t! They then tried to offer me a £5 voucher as a gesture of goodwill for their dishonesty. This has honestly put me off using them in the future.

The BNPL isn't clear. I feel like its laid out badly and set up to get you in debt. It isn't clear what you've paid and what you still have left to pay to avoid interest. When you call the advisors they haven't got a clue what they're doing amd keep passing you on to someone else. Gave up after being on hold for almost an hour!! No happy

I ordered a brand new laptop but the packaging arrived opened and it seems the laptop had been used. Apparently what everyone has been saying about them is true. Avoid them like plague. They don't even let you add a review to their platform.

Terrible, large item faulty can't return via yodel or post office waited in twice no one showed to collect, customer service team said ok we will book another day, we all can't take time off work. Beyond stressfull

I'm disappointed with my recent experience on Very.co.uk. This is the second time my order was declined without any explanation. When I contacted customer service, they suggested I place the order again, but by then, the item was out of stock. It felt like a complete waste of time. Very needs to improve their ordering process and communication with customers to prevent this kind of frustration.

Will only let you cancel your account via phone call - remain on hold for an unspecified amount of (55 minutes and counting so far). 0% yet still charging me from my last small purchase made back in September 2023? Outdated business model - do not open an account with these con artists. Even though i am at work i will continue to hold until someone answers my phone call and i can close my account and be rid of being a 'customer' to this business.

Sent back an item as the box was damaged and it was a present for someone. I have proof from Royal Mail that they received it but now it's been a month and my money has still not been credited to my account, by law they have 2 weeks in which to process returns this company is a scam.

Constantly hassling you for extra money when it was promised to be a 0% interest, and then they try get interest out of you and constantly sending letters and messages then have the cheek to charge YOU for the letters that THEY send. Customer service is useless and they dont listen to you.

I order a bed, it arrived damaged, reported it straight away 2 months later I'm still waiting on pick up and return of damaged item. Keep getting told someone will be in contact in 12-24 hours, to no avail. The worst company to deal with, I will never shop here again.

I ordered a new tv and they had the cheek to send me a second hand tv and try to pass it as a new one !! It came i. A carboard box with a sticker on the screen. Absolutely disgusting. It wasnt a mistake because i tracked the parcel all the way to me 😡
