If you’re happy to risk waiting 21 working days to have your item delivered , then when it doesn’t materialise, quickly putting in your refund request within the 2 day allowance.. go ahead and use Vinted. Otherwise don’t bother. Other buy/sell sites with way more efficient delivery, buyer protection and customer service. Vinted are absolutely shocking if there’s any sort of problem.

I sold shoes for £75 money never been paid in to my account after I request the transfer. Vinted is saying they are still investigating my case but its like that for over 5 months. But PEOPLE WITH BAD EXPERIENCE - SMALL CASES COURT WILL RESOLVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS SO ACT NOW BEFORE IS TOO LATE

DISGUSTING customer service !!! None of their staff knows the Vinted company policy’s when it comes to lost or delayed items even though it’s written clear on the app. I sold a jacket and the shipping was delayed, they cancelled the order without confirming it was lost and refunded the buyer. I checked the shipping again and it said delivered, now they have refused to refund me even though I followed every single step the VINTED way. They told me that I would be compensated the full amount to turn around and give me half. Not a trustworthy company!! It’s only good for the no fees. If you have any issues with your order or trying to get money back, forget about it! They are not helpful at all, the most you’ll get back is an automated msg and poor decision making that only benefits VINTED. BE CAUTIOUS!

I have only been selling items on Vinted for a few months, my first payout was for £113.50 which I was really pleased with…..the problem is that Vinted have paid my money into an account that doesn’t belong to me and are now refusing to pay me??? What the hell vinted???

Now is second time when I was very down about experience with vinted. Once I was buyer and received item with holes in material when in description wasn't mentioned about it and wasn't wearable at all but but get my money back I suppose to send it back and pay again from my pocket for postage otherwise I wasn't getting my money for item. And now in this situation I am a seller and my buyer received only half item because packaging was open when received even i packaged right and never ever my buyers had any issues. Now vinted team decides that only buyer gets her refund and I left without item and without money. And even she didn't have to half item item what's left for me. Very unfair very disappointed. I will not recommend for no one to use it. Very bad experience from buyers side and same experience from sellers side.

Vinted will not accept the accredited photo id, the Citizen Card, despite it being launched by her Majesty's Passport Office and accredited by them, as well as the association of chief police and trading standards. Because of Vinted's discriminating and unfair terms, I cannot access my own money gained from current Vinted Sales. A simple update to terms could amend this.

Unfortunately there are quite a few scammers using Vinted so you might end up not getting what you pay for. The biggest scammer of all though is Vinted as they will hang on to refunds for weeks, and you will be left out of pocket, and unable to communicate with anyone at Vinted as no-one there gives a sh@t.

Sellers need to be aware that Vinted sets up their sellers for failure. If a seller posts a listing that is part of their 1000+ restricted items, they block your entire account as if you are suppose to remember all 1000 restrictive items by heart. Sellers beware, all your hard work could vanish within minutes. They set up small business sellers for failure. To be avoided.

I've been selling items on Vinted for 6 months now, so really I can say I tried to understand both their technical problems and strange policies. But even though I like it's free, there's always something going wrong, I'm done with them: . First they have this bug, most of the time you can't download photos and need to try again and again. What should be a 5' process can take 20' or more. . Also, most of the time I can't login on my computer and must use my phone. Which is okay to sell, but the app doesn't work well (for example to filter items) so sometimes I'd like to use the computer. . When a buyer makes an offer and you accept it he/she still has 24h to decide to really buy it. But meanwhile the items are blocked, no one can buy them. And I counted that 75% of offers are not respected by buyers. . Actually they block items for so many reasons, it's ridiculous: as they state themselves, their prohibited items list is not exhaustive, so you discover suddenly that you're not allowed to sell books, even for kids, or cleats, or a Memory game -and you lost half an hour per object. They also block your item if it's in the wrong category -I've seen some snow pants blocked for that reason, except there's no matching category. Cherry on top yesterday, a jacket blocked because (and I copy paste): "Adding a picture with the measurements isn't allowed" -???? I feel I lost way too much time with Vinted, it's very disappointing. From now on I'll just use Poshmark or eBay to sell.

Would recommend a zero stars option. I posted a few luxury items on Vinted. Today i got BLOCKED. They sent me an automatically generated message saying they don’t want no ‘illegal activities’. Other messages said ‘offering fake items is against their policy’. This is absolute rubbish! Why on God’s green earth would i be so stupid to sell fake stuff???!!!! WHY would i want to scam people???? Vinted, please. I am a 41 y/o mom of two, a wife. I spend my free time doing community work. And you think i am what, a scam queen by night??? A stupid queen, yes. Because i didn’t read all the negative reviews about this platform before i joined Vinted. People, be aware.

DO NOT GO ON THIS APP . IT'S THE WORST THING EVER . As a seller i like to be responsible for the package of the buyer in case if it's lost to refund it and get my money back from the courier too . I was left out without the money and without the items because vinted decided to take control over the postage label . I've send a package, the buyer reported as lost and when i contact vinted they didn't want to talk to the courier where they provided the label to get my money back from losing my parcel . Again if i would be responsible for the laber i would contact the courier to get my money back because of their fault . Horrible

Had a message saying my account was blocked accusing me of having multiple accounts, therefore account is permanently suspended. I found out about Vinted this year and have been highly rated buyer and a seller for over 6 months now (over 30 purchases altogether). When I contacted them, they could not verify that this other account was mine or give information about name, items sold but asking for proof of sales. I never had an account with Vinted before this year, checked my other email and even requested a forgotten password in case I had another account - no email came saying this email was registered. I tried communicating with support team but they wouldn’t engage just stick to their script my account was blocked and they need proof. It is frustrating because I am not trading from two accounts. The items that I have listed for sale I put on minimal prices as I had a clear out at home. It is disappointing and upsetting to be accused of something you have not done. Customer service is useless and keep sending generic messages. After a long day of trying to communicate to support team, I asked for my account to be closed, and took me chatting to three different people before I was given me the right info. Disappointing

Vinted, do you have actually customer service that is able to read and has an IQ in double digits? Your "service" seems to be a joke, there are tons of scammers on the site, tons of fakes, if you report the fakes and explain why they are fake, you do NOTHING, however you remove genuine items. Maybe get some people that don't just spam you with auto replies, people who can read and have working brain cells, because the way you are going, you are setting yourself up for massive law suits. I have complained to Citizens Advise regarding your shady dealings and reported a few of the fakes to the companies who own the copyrights. I hope you get sued to kingdom come

I’d like to give no stars! I set an account up to sell genuine items and I was blocked! I provided all relavent information they asked for and they came back saying they wanted more pictures as it wasn’t proof enough.. stay clear of this terrible app.

Vinted you are a utter disgrace. Your customer services skills do not exist and are a complete waste of time. I hope the owner of this company is ashamed. Stay clear. Completely useless and unhelpful and you will lose money while they gain.I’ve reported this company through every chanel I could so hopefully they will start being investigated and closed down . More people should be doing the same as clearly they are robbing people.

I click an issue button within the allowance time and Vinted issues the fund without checking an issue been rise. Pay protection fees for nothing, blind salary for them to have a job

As the title says, I got blocked. I'm currently still arguing with customer support about it, mostly out of spite. This was for counterfeit items. The item in question is a pair of genuine platformed Dr. Martens. When I put the listing up, I followed the suggestion of ways to prove legitimacy and took photos of the branding inside and the sizing chart on the tongue. I put them at /less/ than half-off (for 180 quid shoes) and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if my listing got revenge reported because I wouldn't sell them for £50. So I got blocked instantly, with no warning or post-takedown or anything. And apparently, photos of every which way isn't good enough to prove they're real. On a second-hand clothing resell site. Because I'm expected to have receipts and boxes for a present I received three-four years ago. Now I can't track my purchases, despite supposedly being able to do that anyway. I probably won't be able to cancel/get my money back or anything if something goes wrong either. Talking to customer service about this is like talking to an automated bot. They also told me I got perma-banned (again? Double-blocked lmao) for 'my second violation'- which appears to be the fact I opened a ticket about this. It took bringing that up twice for them to go 'You are within your right to file any complaint you wish, and we will make a point of cooperating whenever needed.', which isn't really addressing the fact that they said otherwise. They also list every single response as done by a dif person, which is either bot behavior or stupid. Im posting this review on every reviewing site. I have never bothered to leave a bad review in my life. Accusing me of this for no reason and with no evidence is just that irritating to me. Take this suggestion seriously- Do Not Use.
