I ordered a new mihael kors backpack , payed a full amount plus a buyers protection and received a message from DHL in a week that an order is delivered. I checked the same day and there was no parcel fem the carrier. Next day I checked with the security at my building and my neighbors where all the parcels arrive and they confirmed there was no courier that day from DHL. They also checked their records and cameras with me and truly there was no one from DHL on that day, but DHL already send me an email that this parcel is delivered. So I sent a message to Vinted support who were investigating for 2 weeks and finally here I am without the package and without 110 euros from my pocket. Just be sure that paying as called buyers protection do not basically protect you from anything since Vinted will never take your side and will take your money and buyers protection fee but will never admit your parcel was lost or delivered to a wrong place. Support wasn’t really helpful and never consider my request truly, so be prepared that you may simply lose your money with this application! Scamers!

Good for scammers and people who have too much free time on their hands. The customer service is non existent. In order for the buyer to claim refund just need to make a few "alterations" to the item, take pictures and claim the refund. I bought the dress on Vinted which didn't fit me so listed it to sell on Vinted straightaway, as I assumed the rules does not cover "didn't like - didn't fit", but apparently the black dress is now claimed to be brown and with a few scratches (?). Customer service didn't take into account that it was sold to me on the app as black and in fact is black! The time to return your already damage goods for the buyer is actually extended to 9 days (not 5 as stated on Vinted) plus time for the postage, so basically over 2 weeks you wait to get your damaged stuff back. I better donate to charity than waste time for this. People claim the refund with a hope that you permit the refund without asking for the item back.

This is the review I have just left on Trustpilot: Vinted allows and encourages the sale of dangerous, illegal and counterfeit items (eg. a bedspread without any fabric composition label, as required under UK law; sold as '100% Egyptian Cotton' when it is actually 100% artificial/polyester; with spelling errors (eg. 'touct' instead of 'touch' and 'retinedopulence' instead of 'opulence') typical of counterfeit goods. Even after the seller agreed a return and refund (presumably wary about poor feedback and other repercussions), Seif at Vinted cancelled the return and transferred my money to the seller of this illegal, dangerous and fake product on the grounds that it did not appear to him to be counterfeit. I will now contact Trading Standards etc. Beware of Vinted!

Buyer can cancel after receiving hundreds of dollars of items and you are left unpaid with no way of getting your items back or money you lost.

I don't recommend this application. Sellers are not supported enough. Buyer can skip to collect the items and you will wait 15 days to get back your parcel and lost on top other potentials buyers because of useless buyers. Shameful service!

Shambolic treatment by customer services. Listed 1 item for sale, sold it promptly and posted it out within the timescales given, Vinted then banned my account for breach of their terms and conditions AFTER I posted the item out and refuse to give a definitive reason of how or why they believe I breached their terms and conditions. After a lot of reading online this seems to be common practice and I'm glad that I'm in the fortunate postion of only being £15 down the drain. Terrible customer service, they just copy and paste the same answer and have zero accountablity. Do not trust this company with your items and money they will con you at the earliest opportunity. This was the first item I ever listed and sold with them so I have no idea how I could have possibly breached any of their terms and conditions. Avoid avoid avoid!

I had three orders for postage l received the shipping labels all three labels were for inpost but l needed a printer which l did not have one. I informed Vinted but no reply as the customers were waiting l took the three parcels to the post office which l spent £10.00 for them to be posted. Vinted then informed me that l had not sent these items out and they were cancelling the orders and the customers would receive their money back. All three customers informed vinted that they had received their orders. Vinted still informed customers that l had not set the items out to them. I lost money that l paid to the post office for postage £10.00 and lost the clothes money. I should keep a eye on your orders also they take no notice of texts they ignore you and their customer service is absolutely disgusting how they treat people anyway bye bye Vinted.

WOULD LEAVE 0 STARS IF I COULD!!! horrendous and quite frankly disgusting customer service. I am shocked!!! Have used eBay for years without an issue, yes you pay sellers fees but it is totally worth it. As a seller do not touch this platform as you will not be helped, your accout will then be blocked with no way to contact and £75 quid out of pocket!!! Not impressed AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just terrible. I’m a good buyer with 100% feedback, you can advertise everything correctly and still get a buyer who decides they don’t want it and you are forced to accept a return. God knows what state the return will arrive in. Vinted are appalling, do not listen and encourage scammers just like eBay!!

Unbelievable unprofessional and disrespectful. I download the app a week ago to purchase a particular item a friend has shown me was on the app. I ordered from seller and the order was confirmed and paid for (almost £300 taken from my account). I was subsequently contacted by the seller to say that the payment was still pending at their end. Have a quick read into T&C it stated that the payment could take 24hours but it assured me it was fine. I didn't think much of it until I got an email telling me more order was cancelled. Upon loging in to the app I found it blocked. I thought that this must be an error so contacted the 'help' desk. They where less than helpful and after getting through the automated responses they told me I was blocked. At which point I still had no reason why. I kept asking and they finally told me it was because of T&C of fraud. Which I most certainly did not breach. I feel that is unscrupulous company has wringing criminalised me and currently have Scammed me out of £300 as it has not been return to my account. I have been forced to report them to trading standards.

Received fake perfume on vinted, no way I could get hold of vinted customer service. As I only have 48 hours to confirm everything was ok. Paid for the return postage, seller received the items. Shortly after I've received a massage that order completed. My money has gone. £107.75 Vinted said the money gone to seller's account and we can't do anything about it. They are scammers and they support scammers. Please stay away from vinted specially if its a high value. The sellers user ID is nicolajane122 Advertising the account for raising money for someone with special needs

You will be answered time and again by a bot. Instead of letting a human review carefully issues, they just assume some very general and vague guidelines will serve all. You'll lose more money selling there, than actually eatning, Precious items I personally curated for years got lost with no compensation.

Vinted policy emboldens scam sellers to keep scamming! A year ago it was rare to be sold something significantly not as described on Vinted, now it is becoming more the norm. I believe the reason is that Vinted actually offer nothing in the way of buyer protection, despite the fact that they charge a mandatory buyers protection fee on every transaction. The buyer pays the cost of return shipping when disingenuously sold something damaged or counterfeit by a scammer. Scam sellers know this buy now, and are offloading all sorts of rubbish, claiming it to be new, even reattaching tags on pieces full of holes and opting to take photos at angles that do not show the damage for their listings! Paying £3+ on return postage is costly for an item that was say £2-£3 in the first place, and scam sellers rely on buyers putting up with it. Vinted meanwhile simply refer the matter to the seller...the fraudulent seller decides for themselves if they have been dishonest! Hello Mrs Thief, are you a thief? No? Ok then, do carry on! I believe this is putting people off attempting to reduce consumption...I myself will now buy new.

Scams are increasing by the day. Vinted customer service is non existent. No response, or computer generated response completely unrelated to the problem. No telephone number because they are not interested in solving any problems. I bought two items from two different sellers, both sent me the exact same Royal Mail postage receipt. It wasn't actually a receipt, it was a picture of a postage label. Of course, the item never arrives because it was never posted. Seller logs it as lost and claims the refund because I have of course paid the compulsory buyer protection. I am recompensed too, but not for the buyer protection fee, so the only person out of pocket is me. This is on the increase and will affect future buyers as the buyer protection will increase to cover the amount of "lost" Mail now going through. Vinted are completely disinterested. They will not reply to warnings, complaints or any other form of communication. BEWARE. Scams are on the increase and you will be caught out at some point. I have added a photo of the fake "receipt ". If you get this sent to you, you have just lost your buyer protection fee and you will have to wait at least 10 days to get any money back. Write to Vinted and complain, but don't expect any valid response or for them to do anything about solving the problem. Vinted app is now being deleted from my devices.

Opened an account I decided to open an account on Vinted. Started to list genuine items that I no longer wanted. Some brand new and some used. 4 items later, I had a notification saying that my account was blocked due to suspicious activity. Apparently I didnt meet their guidelines and they assumed these items were not authentic even tho every item showed clear pictures showing labels etc. Staff unhelpful and refused to do anything. After confirming these were genuine items they were not interested. Contacted them again requesting to re-look at the listings and if they could not be bothered just delete my account and Ill continue using ebay. So If Vinted are reading this, you really need to get your act together. Employ the right sort of people and not kids who clearly dont know what theyre doing! Cant be doing with this kind of rubbish. I will revert back to ebay now where I deal with professional people and not incompetent staff who clearly dont care. One last word for the staff at Vinted, its people like us that pay your wages just remember that!!! Would not recommend Vinted to anybody.

primarily tried to adopt Vinted due to a seemingly more flexible shipment process, when selling larger than normal products (bicycle), than Wallapop. However: 1. On first attempt to execute after customer paid I never received any shipping details and was simply advised by customer support to cancel and redo. Which I did: 2. On second attempt I finally received the shipping labels via the standard process and submitted pick up preference and details via same process on the platform. However, the provider never showed up in the agreed time frame and even worse - customer support refused to assume responsibility and address the issue and instead advised me to fix it myself by calling the shipment company! It just seems that Vinted needs to better realize, who is the client that drives their eventual business and ensure that there is ownership of the service and the e2e process, not just platform technology...this is secondary to their clients.
