I have ordered wine from this company many times and I found there service to be excellent, my wine always arrived on time. If there was something I didn't enjoy they would swap with another, no questions asked. There was a delay on my recent order as the business had a refurb, not a problem, it's wine, not life threatening!!! I will continue to use Virgin Wines.

I've been a winebank customer. Today 11/10/22 something seriously wrong with Virgin Wines. I will be leaving this company and move to another wine supplier. My last order 30th September has still not arrived despite emails from Virgin wine saying it is with the Courire company DPD who have not received the order. Called virgin wines , waited in queue, call answered, no one there, then they ask me to review the call. Emailed no response Chat function wait in queue again chat not answered. So you will know they took my money for the wine on the 30/9. But are not supplying it and bo comments from them. Feels like the service is in disarray. I will not order another item from this company

Poor Reliability and Customer Service I have been a Virgin Wines customer for many years, but have noticed a rapid decline in their level of service to customers in recent months. As a Winebank member, I placed my latest order 8 days ago, but as at this morning, the order is still flagged as being "processed"....Efforts to obtain an update from Customer Services have thus far come to nought, but interestingly Virgin Wines are still accepting new orders, despite rendering the Company into the area of it incurring serious reputational damage to the Company's hitherto Brand name.....In essence, poor and very disappointing.....

Gave 3 weeks notice that the wines were required for delivery on 8 October 2022. Called them on 5 October and was assured that the delivery was on. You guessed it not delivered as faithfully promised despite DHL showing at their depot since yesterday. They can keep them and I will order no more. The wines are ok to be fair but the customer service poor and the delovery a shambles.

I ordered just 1 pack of 12 wines they were claiming were really good. As a Spanish I know how to recognize good wine, and this was not the best. Mass produced mainstream wines... A few months after that I find that they took more than 120 pounds from my account for a subscription that I never authorised. Tried to cancel the wines and the subscription but it was impossible and nothing displayed at their websites. After 1 week I am still waiting for the wines that I need to refuse to get my money back (minus 8 pound delivery) and be able to pay my bills.

Underhanded tactics to regularly take money FORCING you to buy from them. Luckily I used Paypal and cancelled they "automatic" payment, filled a dispute, Paypal agreed, closed the case in my favour and got my money back. Two fingers to the CEO of Virgin Wines. Not 6-8 months of fighting to get the money back like others.

Ordered case of champagne and paid for day delivery. I was then emailed to say I had to sign for the delivery. I waited in all day then was informed the wine would arrive the next day when I wasn't in. They cancelled delivery and now I'm over £400 down to be reimbursed in 5 days. What a bunch of time wasters.

I bought a case of wine for a friend to say thank you back in January as a one-off to be delivered to their home. I have just realised that they have been charging £25 on my credit card every month since. I did not sign up or agree to any membership plan. They have set it as a default and purposely made it unclear on their website. Having spoken to the pompous manager, he was unhelpful and unprofessional and thinks it is OK for Virgin Wines to trick and mislead their customers. I did not receive any notification of being signed up to a wine club and no emails from them at all since my purchase back in January and yet still proceed to take my money for 8 months! This is deceitful and a con and have reported to the consumer watchdog. I will never use Virgin Wines again!

I ordered a case of virgin wine on the back of a voucher I received when I purchased a Russell hobbs blender - For some reason VIRGIN WINES have used my credit card details and processed another order and delivered ANOTHER case of wine to my house

Very poor customer service, lots of promises but no action. My order was sent to the wrong address. I informed Virgin Wines of their mistake, to which they were extremely apologetic, but six days later, I'm still waiting for my order. Terrible service, poor customer experience, as left feeling disappointed, and dissatisfied.. Would not recommend!

Robert (Harry), I would confirm that I am very satisfied with Virgin Wines :- 1. On time delivery ( I live in Northern Ireland) 2. I prefer white wine and with a Screw top 3. Wines are generally acceptable, with as yet no dislike of any. 4. I only pay when my order is accepted by their assistant. 5. I usually contact "Issac", who is very reliable with my requests Harry Turkington ( "Robert" to Virgin) Northern Ireland

I have been with Virgin wines wine club for many years, I am now at my third wine advisor, Tony who has introduced me to wines I would not have tried and basically I trust his judgement. I have read many of the comments placed here and it sounds like the contributors are talking about a different company as for me Virgin are first class. I think their range of red wines in particular is really good, delivery first class (only one incident over the years). I seem the odd one out here but I think Virgin wine are the best about. Let’s see. You fall for the attractive time limited offer on the printed cards you receive with Amazon packages. Seems a good deal, yes? Oh no. You’re part of the customer churn from the oh so clever CEO/CMO. You’re just a disposable asset now. Virginwines may get lucky and keep you as a subscribed wine club member. So what’s wrong with that? Monthly payments, so if you forget or don’t order often they build up. No problem though you can get a refund if you can get passed the “give us another try” customer services. You also get bombarded with texts and emails, temping offers for over priced wine. Worst of all? You’d be lucky to get your delivery. Delays, damages, lost boxes you name it. No problem, customer services can help. Nope, they haven’t a clue what’s going on. Support your local wine merchant, they’re knowledgeable and need the business.

I ordered a box of wine as a one off purchase as a birthday gift a few months ago. I’ve just looked at my bank account and they’ve taken £121 out without my knowledge, I never ordered any more wine as it was poor wine and poor value. The money taken from my account was set aside for a mortgage payment which is now unpaid thanks to this lot. Virgin Wines are really Direct Wines, I’m going to seek advice and maybe get it in the papers.

Virgin Wines Be very very careful what you click on on their slick website. I just had £25 take out of my account because I signed up for their WINE BANK. I didn’t agree to that. The £25 is set as a default. And I didn’t agree to that either. I can see I’m going to have a battle to get my money back. What is it the say a fool and his money is easily parted. Nice one Virgin Wines I didn’t see that one coming.
