We’ve used Nottingham Victoria Centre Vision Express for many years now, in excess of 20, and they have always been unfailingly professional, friendly and helpful on every visit. Today,13/4/20, Tony, Izzy, and the opticians were lovely, especially Izzy. It was extremely busy but they managed it all so well and gave us a good deal. Whenever minor repairs are needed they help out and usually things can be sorted. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

They have single handedly done everything possible to slow my business down. They have level 1 support which barely knows anything. Level 2 support I think is one guy. Because it takes 3-4 weeks to get a response and they may pass it on to level 3. If you value your business do not pay these people a minute of your time and money. I have stopped.

I had ordered glasses at the Tesco Burnley Vision express and I received an email stating they were to be delivered between Sunday and Wednesday so on Wednesday evening my husband was at Tesco and I asked him to enquire to which he was told they were ready and I could go collect them the following day. I went to pick them up and the Receptionist Elaine was so rude to us and she was being rude to other staff members, she made us feel so belittled when I tried explaining the situation that I didn’t have a text it was my husband who had enquired, she was so rude and honestly did not want to be there. I noticed her being rude when I had my eye test but as I didn’t deal with her directly I brushed it off as her having a bad day but honestly how I was spoken to and treated today I will not be back, I understand things go wrong but just be nice to customers its not that hard, I will say all the other staff were brilliant but she has really turned me off ever returning!

Vision Express Tesco Gallows Corner. The staff that come up to me didn’t seem to want to help and was quick to say come back later in a way bordering rude. The pandemic should not be an excuse for staff to be less accommodating. Maybe she just didn’t want to be there. I’m sure plenty of people will want to take that role and have a nicer manner.

We use the Berwick upon Tweed franchise. Matt, Sonia & the team are always incredibly friendly, helpful & professional. They attempt to accommodate our family’s need as effectively as possible & provide great service. Now a long standing feature of our community’s business offer & very easy to positively recommend them to anyone.

Vision express middle st Yeovil 5* I popped in without an appointment as I had an emergency, the arm had broken on my glasses, the guy who greeted me invited me in straight away and had a new pair on order within 10mins and delivered within 24 hrs, as I am a key worker (not that he knew) I was amazed with how brilliant the service was especially when I was turned away from the other Yeovil store, I cannot thank you enough as my mental health was suffering with the unfortunate disaster, thank you to all that helped me 5* service and would recommend without a doubt!

Served by Rachael & Lottie at the Wellington Vision Express store, nothing was too much trouble & i felt really safe, everyone wore masks at all times, so my experience was really good, thanks for looking after me so well.

I found the staff all very kind and helpful. On the telephone the last lady I spoke to was flexible with appointments, to meet my needs. Always a good nice atmosphere in the shop.

Misleading information on returns guarantee. 60 day return begins on order date, not date of receiving product. No returns allowed as they say it's bespoke product so consumer rights don't apply. Expensive frames are cheap quality, mine fell apart on the FIRST day. Stay away, buyer BEWARE....

What a fantastic service I had today at your Huddersfield store. I had my eye test with Taz who was lovely, professional and explained everything expertly. I was then seen by Chloe Fryer who was equally as pleasant, friendly and very helpful. All in all it was a very pleasant and informative visit. Please thank all the staff for their expert care. I had eye test appointment today at Milton Keynes Kingston branch and I’m very disappointed with the customer service, I didn’t feel welcome and I felt like I am being rushed the optometrist didn’t explain to me the results of my eye test and when I asked him questions I didn’t get answers he just said “oh its ok” and that I need to wear glasses! he is not informative at all.. Patient have their rights to information and I didn’t get that, he gave me a prescription which I didn’t even know what it is for exactly! the receptionist was not so helpful either when I said I can’t afford to purchase the glasses right at that moment! I won’t be coming back and I will get my glasses elsewhere. This is the first time I write a review as I feel so disappointed!

I just need to leave a comment about a new member of staff you have who is working on the phones. I wanted to check my appointments were still good for tomorrow at kings road as there had been a problem with one of the appointments being cancelled by you due to staff sickness. The person I spoke to was called Saffron. She was delightful and so accommodating. I thought it was going to be difficult but it was probably one of the least stressful calls of this nature I’ve ever made. I don’t know if you will see this but thank you Saffron. Lauren at Vision Express in Tesco at Shoreham Holmbush Centre in West Sussex was absolutely delightful, very helpful and extremely efficient. Our little puppy had chewed my husband’s glasses so needed to replace them. Ordered two pairs as second half price. Her advise on frames was very good and clear as I was getting these without my husband and the original frames are no longer available so she helped me get next close best frames. Arrived within 48 hours and are perfect and Lauren also kindly tightened our other two pairs of glasses. Extremely pleasant experience and very quick service. Does not get better than that. I had a very disappointing experience at vision Express Nugent Park, Orpington. Angie was helpful and helped me choose a few pairs, finally settling on one pair. I waited two weeks for them to arrive and had them fitted. After a few days I developed pain on my nose bridge and behind my ears. They adjusted and I tried again, no better!!! After 7 trips I was getting very frustrated, they then suggested I bring my old glasses in and they would match them for fit. I again tried them for a few days, still pain and discomfort, so I decided to google the frame. I had been sold a pair of children’s glasses!! I’m 57!!! I went back to the branch and complained and told them that I had been sold these, Angie said that when I came in she thought my face was small enough to take children’s glasses!!! This hadn’t been disclosed at the time but certainly explains 7 visits for ill fitting. I explained that I hadn’t been charged for children’s glasses though!!! Instead parting with £609 for two pairs. I demanded a full refund which I have now received. I’ve since bought 2 pairs, far superior from Boots Orpington and saved £140 as well. I certainly will not be recommending Vision Express ever. Very poor service and not good value for money.
