“Your Newport, Shropshire branch is exceptional. The high standard of cleanliness and general welcoming feel of the store is much appreciated, as well as the excellent choice of fresh, chilled and other food items - also the seasonal produce. All first class. But, best of all, are your wonderful store staff. They are all lovely - always ready with a friendly smile or word, and helpful. I want to give a special mention to Margo. On a particularly rough day recently, we had a quick chat but as I was about to leave the store, she presented me with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. This kind and thoughtful gesture meant the world to me. Thank you Waitrose - and for employing such lovely and good-hearted staff like Margo!”

“Ordered the Waitrose Rose Lemon & Raspberry Cake, Waitrose Celebration Platter Sandwiches and Waitrose Gold Anniversary Celebration Cake, customer service was brilliant, collection on time and the food was amazing. When I opened the cake box I could smell a lovely rose lemon scent, cake was moist and tasty. The Anniversary was moist, delicious and was perfect for a 50th wedding anniversary. Good selection of sandwiches, really tasty. I would definitely be ordering again.”

“Yesterday we had a delivery in sleet and snow. Our driver was a young man, Tom. What a pleasant young man! He insisted on bringing the crates with food bags right to our back door so we did not have to step out into the cold & wet. He asked us if we were keeping safe and well and generally chatted whilst giving us our order and going through the substitutions. It was so nice to engage with a young, articulate and confident person. And what a great ambassador for Waitrose.”

“Thank you Waitrose Wimborne you are the only supermarket or shop as far as I am aware in the area who have kept hand sanitizers available to use as you enter the shop and kept with the one way system around the store. Full marks for health and safety of customer and staff.”

“My husband spotted your jewelled orange fruitcake. We have just had a piece each - absolutely gorgeous, and the cake base was unusual in that it was not the heavy fruited Christmas cake we normally have. Will certainly buy it again in fact, might even check if there are any left over in store!”

“We have been shopping with Waitrose for a while & all through lock down with family member being extremely vulnerable . Everything had been of excellent quality and delivery exceptional big thank you to Waitrose and all staff ,delivery persons . Christmas shop was a pleasure , lovely food as always . “Click & Collect.... I’m so happy with this service. So easy to order online, The most pleasant staff who are waiting for you in the car park and bring the food to your car & I got a little Complementary hamper of treats as a total surprise.”

“Received my first Waitrose order last week, very happy with the quality of the food and the delivery driver was very helpful. Would never have thought of ordering from Waitrose had I not been one of the shielding, the local authority advised me that they were giving priority slots to us. Will definitely be ordering in the future. One further point, being Dyslexic this is the most user friendly online shopping experience, it amazes me how it can correct my spelling mistakes, it is so frustrating if I am trying to make an online order and my partner is not with me to help.”

“Did click and collect shopping at Waitrose Beaconsfield. Ordered Thursday, collected Saturday. Highly recommend this way of shopping. The staff managing the queue where really helpful, as well as sanitising each trolley and touch points. Staff at customer service/click and collect point really kind and helpful. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Brilliant. I always thought Waitrose was more expensive, but I got some really nice food at a very reasonable price by shopping the offers. Will do this again for sure.”

“Very organised during lockdown and lie that they clean the trollies before handing them to you. I also liked the fact that a staff member very politely advised a customer that they were purchasing to many restricted items.”

“Waitrose / Ocado are a must for online shopping especially for disabled people . The produce is of the finest and arrives in tiptop condition fresh fruit meat and vegetables are very fresh all produce is well within the sell by date and the delivery drivers are polite and extremely helpful . I have been using for several months and can honestly say I have had nothing to complain or send back a product .Their prices compare with other companies very well especially as it's the finest produce”

“My mother received 2 bouquets of flowers for her 100th birthday whilst in lockdown last week. After 10 days the flowers were & still are fresh & have a good few days left in them yet....beautiful.. Well done Waitrose xx”

“Thank you to the young man who came to our rescue. We had been trying to get cartons of prune juice for ages. All other supermarkets either were always sold out or we were unable to get to talk to anyone on the telephone to check their stocks. I telephoned Waitrose and the telephone was answered immediately by a young man who was so helpful and sorted me out with the prune juice. He was so polite and could not have been more kind. A big thank you to this wonderful guy. Sadly I did not get his name but hope he reads this. My name is Mrs Clarke and was over the moon with the service we received.”
