I ordered a chair over a month ago, and it was supposed to arrive within 48 hours. DHL tracking initially said it would be delivered on Wednesday, so I took a day off work to wait for it. However, it never arrived and I didn't receive an explanation - waited the whole day! The delivery date was then suddenly changed to the next day, so I took another day off, but still, there was no delivery and no explanation. When I contacted Wayfair, they didn't have any information about what happened. On the third delivery attempt, the chair was left nowhere near my flat (as photographed by DHL) and in an area where thousands of people pass by, and unsurprisingly it got stolen. I had to involve the police to go through CCTV footage. The fourth delivery attempt didn't happen at all. In frustration, I changed the delivery location to a suggested drop-off point to make it easier for DHL (and pay for a taxi myself from drop off point to home). However, despite it being the fifth scheduled delivery date, there was no show, not even to the drop-off point. I'm still waiting for my chair. I've spent a lot of time on the phone with Wayfair and sent over 5 emails, but the replies I receive are generic and don't address the issues I've faced nor do they give me any clarification on why it has got to this point. I don't think I've experienced anything like it before. Essentially, I've paid for the chair, but I still don't have it. The latest response from customer service is to wait and reassess the situation when it arrived. When I asked, 'when will it arrive?' they didn't respond! It's been an awful experience with customer service, and there's been no resolution. I regret buying the chair from Wayfair because it seems like no one is taking my issue seriously or willing to help, but they are more than happy to keep my money. I have been incredibly patient and understanding, but after the fifth failed delivery, countless hours chasing, emailing, phoning, two non paid days off work, and a lot of time speaking to the police, I am now just fed up.

Wayfair has input a ban on my account for no reason when I ask for the updates of delivery schedule and they tell me they ban me because they cannot give me a update. They say I am better buying from a brick and mortar. I have all your emails saved. No matter how many items you have in your website, I have understand that i will never buy from you again.

I placed an order at Wayfair for a stove Then 11 days later when I checked on the tracking It said my order was canceled! After a few attempts to contact Wayfair I was told the ad was a "mistake" And they tried to sell me similar stover for over 6 times the price of what I paid It is the old bait and switch scam I thought that Wayfair would honor the ad since they posted it but I was wrong They are not a good company and I will never buy from them again I closed my account with them and I am telling everyone about my experience with them And every single person has said they should have honored their ad It was just the right thing to do Every Single One! Do not buy from them! They could still be having "mistakes" in their ads

Buyer, beware! I recently ordered a sofa online and was promised free delivery, presumably to my living room as a rational consumer might expect. Instead, Wayfair through FedEx, dumped my product about a quarter mile away because FedEx would not deliver to my building. I talked to Wayfair about this, and they stonewalled me telling me they would not take it back except at my expense, apparently, if I wanted it delivered to my living room, that would also be at my expense. I talked to their low level, inventory manager, Katie, who sarcastically mocked me for being an attorney, and insulted me, saying, in effect, that despite the fact that you're an attorney, we are still going to stiff you. Bring it on, she said. She said that if they dumped it anywhere on the property, that was delivery. Including a rain-soaked parking lot, or the dumpster? Also, she said, take it up with FedEx, which is ridiculous and insulting, because FedEx already said they wouldn't deliver it and I have no monetary recourse through FedEx. So that advice is just a fascist stonewall. Well, I reported Katie's comments to the bank, and they issued me a temporary refund, which I don't intend to give back until Wayfair delivers on their contract to deliver that sofa. It says on the website touting Wayfair as a wonderful company that they will always give you your refund in a reliable manner. Baloney! They will stiff you and insult you until you give in. Thank you, arrogant Katie, for helping me get my refund. And congratulations on being a pitbull of a low level inventory manager. Oh, and they canceled my order of assembly, possibly because they realized that the sofa would not be in any position to be assembled. After I paid for it , I saw the next day my order is back ordered 4 months. I called wayfair and told them it was unacceptable, they told me they have a department dealing with it and also told they were confident that it will arrive much sooner than the shown delivery date. 3 days later I saw that my order was cancelled by myself which I have never cancelled. Reached out to wayfair they said there is nothing they could do, they tried to reach out to the company but could not so they cannnceled my order. However the company has a lot of other furniture ilisted with wayfair for very high prices. They offered me no compensation , when I asked for it, they send me a ten percent discount they should send me a fifty percent at least. Becouse all items' prices were increased at that time and we missed the labor day sale, which did not help at all. Horrible experience, they do not care at all. Ordered a rug and was given a delivery date. It did not arrive and was given another delivery date a week later. On the day of delivery I received an email from Wayfair saying my order had been cancelled ‘as requested’ !! The customer service agent on their chat facility was, to be fair, very helpful and informed me the order had been cancelled as the item was out of stock. At the time of writing I’m still waiting for my refund to be processed. My first and last experience with Wayfair! (I then ordered a similar item from Dunhelm which was delivered within 3 days).

I have been waiting for over a year for an item that i ordered, when I call they change the due date and they it does not show up. I call again and they change it again. It has gone on for over a year now with no resolution. It is no surprise that their stock is down from over $300 a share to less then $80 a share. Signs of poor management.

Ordered a sofa. Was delayed twice. 1st time their currier lost it. Second time I didn't really get a reason but sounded like XDP had not processed it or something. 3rd time they delivered 2 sofas to my apartment building. And refused to take it up 1 flight of stairs. Even though it was a 2 man delivery. They still need to return to take the other sofa back . Which is now in my building entrance way. This is ridiculous

If I could rate this lower, I would. Terrible experience ordering this item. I have had to arranged returns and have a replacement sent out three times. Every time it has arrived significantly damaged. After receiving the last replacement, we concluded that any further replacements would arrive damaged. My husband decided that we would keep this item and he would replace the hooks that were damaged and see if he was able to repair the rest of the damage. I contacted Wayfair, explained the situation, and they refused to give me an adequate refund due to ‘system limitations’. Highly disappointing and now I will be left no choice but to obtain a partial refund via my bank instead. It’s a shame, as there are lots of nice items on here, but given the state of arrival and the difficulty being appropriately compensated, I’m unlikely to return.

Ordered the expensive shed from them on 28th of July and this is still not delivered. They hired dodgy delivery company XDP and they tell me to wait a little bit longer and this has been their solution to resolve the issues for 17 days (and counting). Customer support have no power to resolve any issues but they are happy to keep your money. By the way their delivery partner has no phone number and they don't reply to emails.

Did not deliver my mattress called to cancel and reassured I would be credited, have contacted numerous times by text and phone, they are not interested just want my money. Such poor customer service. Please do not use them, get the reviews all over social media and stop them trafing6.

Avoid Wayfair and their affiliates! They are a scam company. They just take your money to have the cash flow and then do not deliver your goods. They should be out of business and stopped ! Stay away and buy anywhere else!

Like many of these reviews, Wayfair is horrible. I wish I would've read reviews first. I won't even waste my time calling customer service. My item was delivered across the street evidenced by my ring camera. Unfortunately the people across the street are not honest people so I won't be getting my item. O went online to submit a claim with Wayfair but they say to submit a claim with FedEx, I won't be wasting my time doing that. Guess I'll just take the loss and never buy from this horrible company again. Amazon is winning hands down!!

Theeeee WORST on-line company?? that ever did business. how this place is STILL in business is AMAZING!!!!! if you want to pull your hair the F*** OUT!! then buy things from wayfair. this is a drop ship company that should never be in the business that there in. and the customer service people!!?? WOW!!!! and WOW!!!!!!! don't let them sweet talk you into thinking anything other then they don't care! bottom line is they don't. managers are an even bigger joke. wayfair needs to be re-named to WELFARE for sure.

It is the second time that I purchased something on Wayfair with a great discount and they do not honor it. I would suggest you stay far away from this crooked company. The first time, my item was canceled, and they said it was wrongly advertised on their webpage. This time, I was sent part of the product but not all. When I called, the first time they said they were sorry, and that the rest would be sent once I contacted the manufacturer. The second time I called, they said it was wrongly advertised on their webpage and that I had received only what I paid for and that because I had had such a great deal they were sending me only part of the product. Why would I want to buy only part of a Murphy bed!??!? Would it make any sense to any human to order the wooden box and no bed mechanism?! Of course not. After hours of research and calling they said the only thing they could do would be refund me after I repackage and send what I received back but they couldn’t do anything else. What a great way Way”fair” to make cash flow off of people and then tell them to send back the stuff for a refund! Of course, they don’t care about the hours lost and their customer service is terrible! The bottom line, the webpage lies, and its people do too. NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY!

Placed my order and was given a delivery date. Received updates from EVRI prior to the delivery then on the delivery day all communication stopped. Cutting a very very long story and countless phone calls and emails, they had lost my item but won’t refund me until they have completed their investigations which so far have taken a week. So now I am without my delivery and my money ! I would give zero stars if there was the option, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !

I finally found the right bunk beds for my kids‘ room and was so excited to purchase them. The next day I received an email saying, “Your cancellation was successful!” The email stated they cancelled my order because of a “processing issue”. I called to find out why, and apparently the seller mistakenly priced the item too low, and that they have the right to change the price without notice. I was offered a 10% discount on my next order as compensation, but as the new price for the bed nearly tripled, I did not feel this was reasonable. I am frustrated that even after paying for an item they can just cancel my order without my consent.

One of the pathetic and customer unfriendly return policy. Even if I have not opened or used an item I have to $150 from my pocket just for shipping. Even requested their supervisor, she was rude and intolerant to even hear our request. Being single earning women in family $150 is huge money. Will never ever but from PATHETIC WAYFAIR

We have ordered two different bookcases from Wayfair. Both items were listed in stock. Both items were delayed, yet we were only notified of the delays each time the very day the bookcase was to arrive at our doorstep. Very little information was given on their website. Phone calls to customer service also gave similarly vague details. It was only after we escalated an issue to a supervisor that we found out that the first bookcase had supplier issues and wasn't even being made. Why were we not notified of this? After we cancelled this order, we were given a 10% coupon that didn't arrive. I had to call customer service again to make sure they sent it out (apparently it was checked to be sent out, but the supervisor never actually hit the "send" button). When we ordered the second bookcase, again listed in stock, we noticed that our first bookcase we wanted was somehow conveniently listed as out-of-stock on their website--only after we had our issues of multiple delays. The day our second bookcase was to arrive, we get an email that the item was delayed. Again, vague details, and I had to call customer service who confirmed that this was indeed another supply chain issue. The artificial delay of needing to wait for 6 more weeks was actually placed by Wayfair, not the supplier. In fact, if I didn't call, the likelihood that in 6 weeks time I would get another email from Wayfair saying the item was delayed was quite high. The worst part of this is the supplier for the second bookcase is actually the same supplier as the first bookcase we purchased, which begs the question why didn't Wayfair flag all products from this supplier as backordered or out-of-stock when this issue with this supplier was escalated to their investigative departments? From a customer's end, I shouldn't have been able to purchase that second bookcase and then wait 2 weeks for the same poor result. Don't buy from Wayfair. Unreliable and poor customer resolutions.
