Because I am a shielding coronavirus vulnerable person I placed an order for delivery. After waiting weeks it arrived incomplete and useless as the missing item was critical. Having spent hours over several days getting through I was promised a delivery of the missing item and it didn't arrive. many hours on calls later more promises which I have zero confidence in being met. Absolutely terrible service especially as only contact method is phone which literally takes most of a day to get through

Placed an order 3 weeks ago for 5x tins of exterior paint. Delivery arrived, with only 2 of the tins. Delivery person said 'yes, we're aware, other 3 tins will be with you this afternoon'. They didn't turn up. Spoke to relevant store that were apparently responsible (Anerley) and told that they don't have them. Spoke to store manager, promised to call me back that morning. Rang me back at 3.30pm, saying he can't help and I'm welcome to return them. Obviously this was to be done at my expense, having already had decorators arrive that couldn't do the work. Shocking service. Blaming Covid, despite having had 3 weeks to sort it out. Could barely string a sentence together, every other word was 'yeahyeahyeah'. I won't be using Wickes again.

Should have read reviews before ordering from them. Wickes customer service is disgusting, not even worth 1 star. Received delivery last Friday, 12th June. There was 1 item missing and 1 item damaged. Tried to contact customer well over 30 times by phone. Have also left numerous messages for a 'call back', all of which have gone unanswered.Have also emailed CEO, again no reply. Missing item turned up 3 days later, but damaged item still not replaced, as I cannot get through to the customer services by any means. Cannot spend any more of my time with this company, so have given up and cut my losses. So glad I haven't placed my order for kitchen units and equipment, with an estimate of around £5/6000. Their loss. Use their delivery service and customer services at your peril!! You've been warned.

I can only agree with the reviewer who said that Wickes take your money and don’t deliver. I’ve been waiting for 5 weeks, am unable to get a reply from their now closed ‘customer service’ email, and cannot get through on the phone. Please avoid at all cost. In the space below it asks ‘how did you communicate with Wickes’. I can’t.

Wickes aren't willing to accept they can't cover the demand but refuse to stop taking orders because they care more about money than customers. I waited 4 weeks for my order and then 40% of it didn't turn up. The delivery guy told me they load whatever is available on the day so it's a lottery what you get if anything at all. Complain to customer service? They automatically respond to emails telling you to phone instead. The phone number is almost always engaged, when I got through I waited for over an hour to be told they'd escalate it to the store who'd call me in 5hrs, the store didn't call and when I called the store there's no answer.

Without question THE worst retail experience I have ever had. Numerous problems from the get-go, 41 phone calls to Wickes so-called customer service all unanswered. 3 emails to Wickes CEO David Wood, ignored. Numerous emails to Wickes head of customer service which were met with a big slice of "computer says no". Wickes is a troubled business with ineffectual leadership and is doomed to fail at this critical point in time.

Awful service, more than 1h30 on the phone. No solutions given, no email to complaint. No tracked delivery, no options given, no time frames just stay at home from 8am till 7pm. Within 7 days delivery means, we will do our best to deliver after 7 working days.

Ordered a "Keter Store It Out Max" that arrived on 29th April While building the unit I found two parts were bent/cracked and broken I first contacted their customer services on 3rd May to let them know of the issues They replied on the 11th May stating I needed to call their aftersales team Every time I've tried calling the aftersales team it's engaged I have followed up via email on 21st May, 8th June and 15th June (the date of this review), all have been ignored So I'm currently left with a unit that is not fit for purpose - very disappointed.

A totally disastrous company to deal with. If you have a problem with an order your are in trouble. They have no intention of helping you resolve any problem, they just don`t care. We bought a Keter Store-It Out Midi Outdoor Plastic Garden Storage Shed. There were holes in the base and a crack and also lid hinges missing. It looked like a returned item when it arrived, just thrown back in the box and dumped on us. No refund given no missing parts sent. Absolutely SHOCKING!

Total joke of a company cancelled our order the night before the delivery , based on lack of supply of materials even though our order was placed four weeks ago took our money straight away over £250 and its been sat in their bank account ever since . Customer service is a joke may as well no have one takes ages to get through and they couldnt really care less , we wanted to speak to the person involved in sending us the last minute e mail and guess what , she was busy hahahah COWARD !! PLEASE TAKE THIS REVIEW SERIOUSLY WICKES ARE A SHAMBLES , THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS IF A COMPANY THINKS ITS ACCEPTABLE TO E MAIL THE NIGHT BEFORE THE DELIVERY AND CANCEL IT AND THINK THATS OK THEN THEY DESERVE TO HAVE NO CUSTOMERS , WHICH IS WHY WE FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NEVER USE WICKES AGAIN , PLUS WORD OF MOUTH TO OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!! IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD .

I have decided to review Wickes again after reading about other customers experiences. My complaint in the main was due to the fitting of my kitchen my other concerns which I have voiced are well documented ie bad design lack of being able to give a correct delivery date the list goes one. The worst was using Wickes 'Trusted and approved fitters.' I asked Wickes on many occasions what qualifications they had but never got an answer or indeed answers to any of my questions. The workers were told by the boss of C & C, Wickes trusted and approved fitters to refit the kitchen before plastering. I have contacted many outlets to see if this was the normal practice and the answer was a resounding NO. On complaining to Wickes about the state of the kitchen and sending about 40 photos to their complaints dept, C & C sent the plasterer back with a tube of polyfiller to put things right. This would have been laughable but believe me it was far from funny. The worring thing was the Boss of C & C the so called trusted installers saw for himself what was going on and did nothing hence I was labelled 'trouble' for contacting Wickes direct. Like many who have reviewed Wickes on this page you experience a complete shut down after a while and I doubt my concerns will ever be addressed or recompensed for such an awful experience or what it will cost me to put things right. So some pointers if you are going to Wickes for your new kitchen. 1. You are locked it to a finance company so you cannot withhold your hard earned money until you are pleased with the finished job. 2. Its no good writing to Mr David Wood CEO as I am sure he is a figment of my imagination. 3. If you accept any remuneration for bad service you are not likely to see any of it. 4 This is the most important, they already have your money so Wickes are not bothered and hope we, the betrayed customers will just get fed up and go away. If you see Wickes new video for your new kitchen it all sounds so wonderful but please take care. Make a note of everything take lots of pictures of the on going installation. Keep a diary of events never pay the fitters extra money unless you are absolutely sure its not all ready been paid for. Check when you pay the fitting company the final bill that it is correct. You have been warned. Lastly I don't expect anything will be done as Wickes has 5 stars on Trust Pilot how they have managed this is beyond me. Take care and stay safe all you Wickes customers.

Cricklewood staff extremely rude and arrogant. Shouted at me for coming into the store whilst pregnant which is absolutely ridiculous. Learn some customer service skills.

Horrific - jumped on the covid-19 band wagon. Took everyone's money when they could not deliver... been waiting 6 weeks for my order. 2.5 hours on phone to customer services. Big problem.

My complaint is about Wickes supply and install a kitchen back in Janaury 2020. From not being able to organise a delivery date to horrendous 'kitchen fitters' it was a shambles from the start. This was made worse by being an elderly consumer and living alone I was treated to ageist remarks and constant demands for extra cash as parts of the on going fitting was 'not included in the price paid'. I constantly told Wickes and asked for support but Wickes kept referring me to the installers as it was deemed a separate contract even though Trading Standards advised this was not so. Laminate flooring was laid over existing carpet instead of the floor being screeded and plastering was was done after all units installed and flooring laid and new work tops fitting. But I got all the blame as after each job done I was asked by the fitter that if I didn't sign their work sheets they would not be paid and when the fitter left I was told that their boss had labelled me as 'trouble'. I have had a series of correspondence with various managers and was only offered £200 which would not cover the costs of putting things right. Due to the constant stone walling and being 'trouble' and with all that is going on with this terrible lockdown (which I feel sure Wickes will blame me for) I wrote to Mr David Wood CEO, for his view but got no reply. I did tell a My Nyendwa that I would accept £500 in settlement to be donated the hospital Cancer unit where my late Husband had his treatment. I have heard nothing since and have been unable to get contact him. If you watch Wickes new slick video and if you are looking for a kitchen it implies 'Your Trust OUR Installers. I was constantly told that the installers had nothing to do with Wickes. It also says 'OUR' experienced installers will fit your kitchen to the highest standards, so you can relax knowing your kitchen is in safe hands' I did get a call over a week ago from Mr Jon Robinson who said he as an independent advisor and Trading Standards were looking into this. When I rang Mr Robinson his answer phone announced 'Mr Robinson, Wickes Claims Manager' so Wickes was looking into Wickes complaints so how does that work. So by all means enjoy a lovely new kitchen from Wickes and if are an elderly consumer remember take someone you trust with you and NEVER NEVER sign anything you don't fully understand.

If I could have put 0 stars, I would have. I have recently had the most horrendous experience with Wickes. I am currently owed approx. £100 worth of refund for an order which I was informed a day before expected delivery that they could not fulfil due to lack of stock, despite me processing my order 3 weeks prior and my order being confirmed as in stock.I also have a second order which has been missing for a week, which I have had no communication about or refund for. I have tried contacting the store directly, and the customer service department which they are either not answering or I am facing 1-2 hour waits each time, and so far have no outcome to my queries. I have just been cut off speaking to an advisor and have had no follow up call, despite having my contact number on file. I would urge anyone to avoid buying anything online from Wickes currently, as it's likely you will not receive your order, or your money back.
